Owner is not to be trusted. I took my boat in to get the lower unit case replaced. $3,000 later I get my boat back and it seems to run a bit slower. Complained and he wanted for me to bring the boat back, I had uncomfortable feeling if thinking that there have been sabotage so I can keep coming back. It took almost 3 years later to find the root cause of my problem. The original prop that was on had been switched. I called the Bass pro shop to confirm what size prop was on the boat when I purchased it brand new. Bass pro shop told me it was a 24 pitch. Call the owner of The Boat Doctor and he said that remembered my boat. He also said that it is impossible for that to ever happen at his establishment. He's a professional. Although I have pictures proven that I had a 24p and left with a 25 p he denied that it happened there, and there's nothing that could be done about it. He also has why didn't I bring it back and I'll tell him that I felt uncomfortable bringing it back to him because I felt that there was some sabotage going on at the time. He said that the problem must have got switched by somebody else when I took it to another dealer. I told him that that is impossible because I have pictures showing time stamped that I had a 24 going into the shop the picture was at his place of business and a 25 when I picked the boat up everything is time stamped. He refused to take the 25p back and give me a 24p.

After 45 years this will be first customer complaint for the boat doctor having to do with trust, we are professionals in the industry, some of the best in the area. we never received a phone call or complaint from Mr. ****** having to do with a performance issue with the boat after the necessary repairs, until, three years later. Date work order was opened 9/5/2019. Date work was completed 9/27/19. Date customer complained to us of issue 8/10/22. Customer is unhappy to have made a mistake and is trying to blame The Boat Doctor. We will not swap a propeller out on a repair we made three years later based on the customers claims with no real proof. We don't make this type of mistake. engine parts, props, lower units etc are tagged with customer name and work order # when they are separated from the boat.
