    This company sold me the incorrect intercooler for my air compressor and will not let me return it back to them. It is too small to fit my air compressor. When I called them, they told me to bend it to make it longer. I ended up calling a local air compressor company and they came out to help me and said not to bend it because you can damage it. They had the correct intercooler in stock and installed it for me. When I told them about this, they told me they would let me return it back to them. (I have this on my voice mail) Then the next day they called back and said they won't take it back and that it is the correct part. This feels like a scam at this point.

    The customer received a quote from another company with the part number that company said they would need. The customer came to the ACS website and placed an order for that part. ACS shipped them the part they ordered. When the customer tried to put the part on their machine, it was too short. We reached out to our vendor asking why the part was too short and what to do about it. The vendor said the customer could gently pull it and see if they could get it to fit so we relayed that information to the customer. The vendor also then told us that to make it fit for their machine, they would need to buy an assembly kit which we also relayed to the customer. The vendor would not accept a return on this part so we let the customer know that because ACS did not play a part in identifying the part number that was ordered and we could not return it to the vendor, we were unable to allow a return. The customer was unhappy with that answer and reached out to his credit card company, opening a chargeback, which ACS is also currently disputing. We are sorry we were not able to please the customer in this instance, but especially with the chargeback case, we are unable to move forward with an alternative solution.

    The statement from this company is incorrect. This is not the correct part for that part number. It is either defective or for a different air compressor. When I talk to the sales rep, he said this item was in a box in their warehouse. It’s not a special order and they never pulled it out of the box so they wouldn’t even know if it was the incorrect or defective intercooler tubes. I had to go through another company with the same part number and got the correct intercooler tubes. That’s how I know for a fact that’s the correct part number. This company does except returns as the sales rep told me he was going to email me a RMA number for the return which I have on my voicemail. Then they change their mind which is very odd. The sales rep also told me they don’t Really deal with this type of air compressor as that’s why they don’t have any more intercoolers they can switch out with this one. So I have a feeling they’re just trying to get rid of old stock they have around and that’s why they’re not going to accept the return. I would be happy to withdraw the chargeback from my credit card company if they would just simply accept the return like they were going to do in the first place. Just like any upstanding business would do. I would have to admit I have never run across a company that does not accept a return unless it was a special order item. And even in that case, there would be a restocking fee at the least.

We have combed through all the information we have and it seems that the information we have and the information the customer has is not matching up. We have tried to reach the customer on the phone multiple times in an effort to collect more information and discuss solutions.     I am not sure how my information doesn’t line up with your information as the box has the correct information on it for what we needed. The part inside the box was the incorrect part which you would not even accept me to send back to you for you to even look at it to see. It is sad that I have had to do this over Better Business Bureau just to get you to finally want to work things out, but I do appreciate you finally coming around. But before I call you, I need you to put this in writing on Better Business Bureau on what you are willing to do to work this out because the right thing at this point would be for me to return the item back to you for a full refund as all businesses I’ve ever dealt with do. Thank you awaiting your response.

My multiple previous attempts at reaching you via phone and email were in an effort to get to the bottom of the discrepancy between the part number you were given from another company and the part number we sent you.     Company website states that a circuit board is in stock on their website. Employee on the phone states it will be shipped in two days. Then I receive an email stating that the circuit board will not be shipped for 7-10 days. Then I receive another email stating that I have to send in my old board and they will send it out for repair and evaluation. This company is misleading consumers on their website. Fraud at it's best!!

    On 7/25/2024 Customer (**** ******) made a puchase on our website for a rebuilding of his controller for his air compressor. Customer was required to send us his old controller to be repaired, however the customer misunderstood the purchase and thought he was getting a rebuilt controller shipped to him. After discussions with the customer on 7/26/2024 about what he purchased and that we would need his original controller to complete the repair, the customer became upsed and we cancelled the order and submitted for a full refund for him. I have attached a document at on 7/30/2024 he was refunded the full balance he paid for this order. Please let me know if you need anything additional. We have closed this case on our end.
