I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Someone really needs to make this right, I went with it because first of all the Loan approval letter had the BBB on it for Better Business Bureau approved.I really need my money back and people need to stop praying on people, now I am in desperate need of more money then I needed before I tried to get a loan.
Maybe the real Advanced America needs to step up and refund me what was taken or give me the loan promised.

RE: ***** *********** Complaint ID ********
Dear Ms. M*******:
ACSO of Ohio, Inc. d/b/a Advance America (“Advance
America”) is in receipt of a complaint filed by ***** **********. We have
thoroughly reviewed and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
In the complaint, ***** ********** states, “I
am not liable for this debt with Advance American.” ***** ********** states, “I
do not have a contract with National Credit Adjusters, they did not provide me
with the original contract as requested.”
In Ohio Advance America was registered as a
Credit Services Organization. Advance America assisted customers, like ***** *********** in gathering information to provide to NCP Finance Ohio, LLC (the
“Lender”), so that the Lender can make a decision whether to issue a loan to
the customer. The customer was approved
or denied based on the criteria set by the Lender. When a customer was
approved, the Lender then funded the loan in the amount identified in the
Promissory Note. At the customer’s request, and in consideration of a loan
extended by the Lender, Advance America issued a guaranty to the Lender in the
amount identified in the Promissory Note. In the event the customer defaulted,
the Lender called for payment on the guaranty to the extent that it is outstanding.
Due to the customer defaulting on the loan for non-payment, and the guaranty
being called by the Lender, the customer will then owe Advance America the
unpaid loan amount, which was originally loaned to the customer by the Lender.
According to our records, ***** **********
entered into a Promissory Note with the Lender on August 20, 2018. Pursuant to
the Promissory Note, *** ***** agreed to repay the Lender an amount of one
hundred seventy-five dollars and thirty-eight cents ($175.38) on or before
September 7, 2018. After not receiving a completed payment as agreed and
attempts to contact ***** ********** regarding the past due balance, the loan
account was sold to National Credit Adjusters, LLC on June 12, 2022.
We recommend ***** ********** reach out to
National Credit Adjusters, LLC at ***** ******** to discuss mutually agreeable
payment options and to discuss any further concerns regarding the loan account.

I took a line of credit loan from this company and found out they charge over $4 a day in interest. That is more than $120 in interest a month. When I confided to my family about this, a relative checked the company's website and said that the company charges 300%-600% interest. This is shocking and I did not realize that it was so high. Since I am an elderly person on a fixed income, it is impossible for me to pay this off by myself. So I asked relatives to help me pay off the loan in full, but when we try to call the company, they told us once they we couldn't pay off that day and to call back. When we called again today, we were placed on hold two times for over 45 minutes each. I think the company is purposely delaying me to continue charging me the very high interest. i am dealing with the AdvanceAmerica in Beaufort, South Carolina and their number is ************. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.Business Response

Been receiving threatening emails from company stating I owe a balance when I’ve never physically stepped in this facility nor have I received any money from them. I’m getting emails about court and things like I told them someone has to have stolen my identity because I have never started a loan with them. Not have I ever signed a contract with them in person or online. They can’t even tell you my banking account information or provide video camera footage of me in their establishment nor can they provide an email where I got a loan from their company. I just started receiving these emails all of a sudden out of nowhere.Business Response

RE: ******* ******, Complaint ID ********
Dear Ms. R*****:
Advance America, Cash Advance Centers of South
Carolina, Inc. (“Advance America”) is in receipt of a complaint filed by ******* ******. We have
thoroughly reviewed and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
In the complaint, ******* ****** states emails
have been received for a debt owed to Advance America. ******* ****** states, “I’m
getting emails about court and things like I told them someone has to have stolen
my identity because I have never started a loan with them” and “not have I ever
signed a contract with them in person or online.” ******* ****** provided screenshots
of the emails coming from “********************************” and “Cash Advance InC
(sic) company”.
After a diligent search of our records, there
were no accounts using the personal information provided in ******* ******’s
complaint. Advance America would never threaten a customer with legal action
that could not lawfully be undertaken, nor would it condone such behavior by
third parties acting on its behalf. Additionally, Advance America is not affiliated
with the business named “Cash Advance Inc Company” nor do Advance America employees
utilize email addresses on the server “**********” for business purposes.
The
communications complained appear to be part of an effort to defraud customers,
like ******* ******, by falsely claiming to represent Advance America and
further using what appear to be improper and illegal collection practices while
doing so. Advance
America has previously communicated similar efforts to state and federal
regulators as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation and local law
enforcement agencies.
We
recommend that ******* ****** continue to document all details of any
such communications in the future, not disclose any personal information to the
individuals, and, if appropriate, report such communication to law enforcement or other
proper regulatory authorities for further investigation.

reservation of rights and is not intended to be, nor should it be construed as,
