    Dear Better Business Bureau,

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Doug Hall’s Garage, LLC, located at **** *** *********** *** Greer, SC 29650, regarding their unprofessional conduct and unsatisfactory service.

    On Friday, February 14th, I had an appointment scheduled for an oil change on my 2018 GMC Sierra Truck at Doug Hall’s Garage. That morning my car began stalling and would not start. I called *** to come to my house for a tow. The first thing *** was advised to do is check the battery, the battery was checked and indicated “GOOD,” and the service technician could not determine the issue. The *** service technician did not come in a tow truck, so another service call was put into *** for a tow truck. The second *** service technician showed up with a tow truck and rechecked the battery which indicated “GOOD.” I asked for my car to be towed to Doug Hall’s Garage. I called Doug Hall’s Garage and informed Dominika (receptionist) that I had an oil change appointment today, but my car would not start, so it is being towed there now. I asked can you do the oil change and let me know what the issue is with my car. A few hours later I got a phone call from the owner, Wayne R*****, letting me know that they checked the battery, and it indicated “GOOD,” and that the starter was the issue. I said, “Ok can you fix that and do the oil change.” At almost 5 p.m. I got a call saying that they would have to work on the car on Monday, February 17th. I said, “Ok, and make sure you do the oil change also.”

    - Monday, February 17th around mid-day I still had not received an update on my car so I called for the status and was only told that it would be ready by the end of the day. Again, I asked was the oil change also completed and was told “YES.”
