    Originally we had a trip planned to SC for September 30 - Oct 3rd. We had this trip booked for 2 years - we booked this balloon garland on September 22nd. At this time there was no word about a Hurricane hitting the states. I fully understood the cancelation policy and the fact that this is a small business. The issue I am having is I contacted the business the minut4e we heard about the hurricane and advised them it was likely our flights would be canceled along with the entire trip. They advised me there was nothing they could do as they had taken time to prep. They requested to come out a day early because of this storm, but I advised we did not get in until Friday Sep 30th at 4 PM. They were booked to be at our Airbnb at 6 PM.. Thursday Sep 29th our flights from Boston were canceled due to Hurricane Ian. I contacted the business again. The Airbnb, the van transfers, the boat we had booked all had no issue giving us a refund due to the weather being out of our control. I requested a refund for the balloons and was advised I could have a credit. I never plan on traveling to to SC again nor would I EVER rebook with a company that would not take a natural disaster into consideration for a refund. WE paid $325 for balloons... which would not have been blown up 3 days prior. I would like to be refunded the $325 we spent.

    I still have not received a refund from this company and have not resolved the issue since opening this complaint with the BBB.
