I am writing this review to hopefully prevent any other person out there from being overcharged like I was. A job that costs $300-450 by any other company cost me $750. I called 4 companies to get prices and they all were in the $400-450 range. A simple clean out of my septic system. They all include digging out the lid and replacing the dirt after. I live on the lake and it has to be done at least once a year. The most I have ever paid is $400. I thought he was kidding when he told me the price. I used Residential Septic LLC out of Pendleton because he was referred by a friend of his. I assure you that recommendation will not be made again. After speaking to 4 other companies this morning they all said this is not the first time they have heard this about this company. I however take part of the blame because I did not get a quote from this company before the work was done. When I questioned the price because I honestly thought he was joking with me, he said, next time call someone else. My response was I for sure will. I assumed it would be in line with other companies. As far as the actual work they did a great job. I just feel like, especially now, the way the economy is, you should be fairly priced with other hardworking people. I know it’s not a fun job but you were literally here an hour. And yes it was 8:30 on a Tuesday night but we called you on Sunday and you said you would be here on Monday so the fact you waited to get to us until Tuesday night is not our fault. What’s done is done and I lost $300-350 by using this company but I pray I save someone else from making the same mistake. I would not have posted this review if I had not seen you did the exact same thing to another woman who left the same review. Just because we are women doesn’t mean you can take advantage.
