    Bought a heat pump package from them in October 2015. Feb 2016 the unit wouldn't heat and we called the number for someone to come out and the guy told us to go to Walmart and buy a heater and they would be out in the morning. Told him we had a small child in the home. He never came out. Someone came next morning took 15 approximately to repair. The unit has had to have something repaired or replaced every year almost since we purchase it. This year it stopped cooling and he said $350 plus anything else that had to be done. Had a different service company to come out the the unit has multiple leaks. Called Davis back to see if unit could be replaced. Was told no and if they didn't breathe wouldn't have a job. Davis did nothing to help or offer to help. The Lennox company was nice enough to replace the unit. It needed new compressor and coil but could not get parts so they replaced the unit.
    We definitely felt the Davis Difference. They do not stand up to what they advertise on TV. That stuff they tell on their commercial is a bunch of bs. The unit was 6 1/2 yrs old and had multiple leaks. The refrigerant has leaked out twice this year and last year. Thankfully Lennox stood behind their product. Davis does NOTHING out of the way for their customers.

    This is one of the most outrageous and unfair reviews we’ve had in a while since we’ve had no interaction with this customer in two years except for a phone call asking for a price to repair something over the phone a couple weeks ago. I think everyone understands that phone quotes are either too high or too low and she took our attempt to help as ammunition to fire at us all over the Internet.

    If this had been the only bad interaction with this company, I wouldn’t have said a word but it started 4 months after the unit was installed. We aren’t the only people that feel this way. I don’t care what he says because he made it clear that the unit wouldn’t be replaced but thankfully ****** stands behind their products better this one handles customer service.
