    I hired a guy off a ad on fb marketplace advertising for flower bed work. we met stated he was a retired police officer, his profile picture was him being baptized. i decided to hire him as he seemed trusting. the next day he asked me for some money to get some supplies i sent him 100$ he then brough over a few pineapple plants and left them, the next day he asked again for money bc someone stole his equipment and needed a wheelbarrow, i sent him 350, he then came later that day and raked a part of my flower bed out, sprayed weed killer. then left. asked again for more money so i gave him 175 as we agreed on 900 for buying of large medium and small plants and 500 for labor. the next day brought over tiny plants that were probably worth 20 dollars and left them and then he left. the following day he asked for the remainder so he could finish getting everything and start planting. after that it was excuse after excuse to why he couldn't come back or return partial payment. I called police, they said to file a civil suit, I posted on fb marketplace to beware of him and to my surprise I got 165 messages in regards to this person and he has been doing this for years to numerous people.
