      On 6/10/25, I was moving into our new home. Porter came by in the midst of our move and shared that he serviced a neighbor down the street for pests. He said that the pests would head towards my home once he sprayed them. In the midst of our movers and going back and forth, he stated we could get our home sprayed that day and when I asked him if we could cancel, he said all you have to do is send a written notice for cancellation at any time. I have four eye witnesses who heard the conversation. I paid with my card and continued moving. From that day until 6/17/25 I was having problems breathing. It was sprayed inside as well. I paid for the initial service. I've not had these issues before. On 6/17 I rushed to the ER due to complications breathing and chest pains. I am still working on my health. On 6/19/2025 I sent a written request asking to cancel my services due to my ER visit and breathing complications. After NUMEROUS emails, I provided a copy of my ER visit and this company (will not provide a name or name of Manager) refuses to cancel my subscription without additional personal doctor information. I was then told in the email that another neighbor (I am new to the neighborhood) also claimed to get sick and they think we are trying to get out of the contract. All I've asked is for cancellation because I can not use the services due to my health. I want full cancellation without additional fees. They are absolutely horrible and refusing to cancel what they said they would upon initiation.

      After two days of going back and forth, I FINALLY heard from Core Pest Solutions stating that they have cancelled my account, and waived the "cancellation fee".  Thank you so very much for following up regarding this company.

      A sales man came to our New community for bug prevention. I had to sign a contract for 18 months. But was told by this salesman that if I'm not happy with their service I could cancel. We'll after 2 months I'm going to say June of 2024 but not sure of the date .I called their salesman and stated I want to cancel because we have bugs still. It just kills some but not enough for $60 a month for 18 months.Never herd from this salesman again and the owner called and I told him the same story and he told me they fired that salesman and that I have a contract no matter if I'm happy or not that It would cost me alot of money to get out of this contract.He sated he wants to make me happy and offered me some tiny little amount of money back.THERE SERVICE TO ME IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. Why should I pay for a service that doesent do it's job.Should I get a lawyer and sue or can BBB help me.Its not right that a business is holding me hostage .I'm on disability and now retired and on a set income and a business like this is ready to hold me hostage or fi e me alot of money to get out of this contract that his services are not working. He stated all I have to do is contact him and they would come again and spray which I did with no answer. So please help me with this company stealing my retirement money

      The customer signed a contract and was given discounts upon signing. We emailed the customer a copy of the contract after he signed it and then texted him the next day reiterating the terms of the contract. 

      We also give all our customers 3 days to review everything and cancel if they don't feel comfortable with it. Otherwise, they are bound to the terms, as are we as a company.

      If the customer is having issues with the service, we will come back for free. He needs to contact the office at ************ and someone will be able to schedule another appointment on the phone. 

      If the customer would like to break the contract early, they can do so by paying the applicable fees and discounts that are spelled out in the contract

      He never gave me discounts from when I signed. He was suppose to or should I say his salesman said I wouldn't have to pay a $150 sing up fee or something like that if I signed right away. But I signed like 3 days later since I was moving into the house that day. Well that was not discounted. I paid for that which set me off. Then his service is nt good .Still had bugs . They sprayed within 10 minutes. I had called back his salesman to come and spray again and no answer for months until the next server ice to spray. I told them to cancel it that your salesman stated I could if I'm not happy with the service. The owner preceded to tell me I have a contract and it would cost me alot of money to get out of it. He stated I can't brake the contract unless I pay which was as much as the 18 months was. I told him I'm not happy with this and he gave me a little off of a monthly or 2. That's it. He holding me hostage to pay for.this contract that his services are not good. The people here are saying the same thing. It's not far that if his services are not good for me I am held hostage to pay him a fine or continue paying monthly.  In all my years I'm alive I only used BBB 1 time . There has to be someone besides a lawyer to help a someone like me against someone who is trying to steel my money that limited.

      As stated before, the customer was given ample time to read the contract and was emailed and texted the terms of the contract after it was sent.  If the customer is having issues, they are welcome to call the office and we will spray again for free. Typically we charge $300 for the initial service and the sales rep discounted it because the customer agreed to use us for the period of time that is stated in the contract.  It is clearly stated that if the customer would like to cancel prior to the completion of the contract there are penalties and fees associated with that.

      Nobody is "holding the customer hostage" or "stealing money," we are simply adhering to our side of the contract as the customer is obligated to adhere to their side of the contract.  If they wish to break the contract early, they are more than welcome to by paying the applicable fees.

      I am rejecting this response  I tried to get ahold of them through his salesman. Who gave me his number to call for anything.  Who he fired . So I tried yes the contract states what it states. But the salesman stated that they were a great company that if we don't like our services I could cancel at any time. I tried with the phone number of his salesman with no responce. So that part is not my fault . AND as you see i do have a problem with his services and want me to pay a fee. Thats all thet try to do give losy service and charge the old people a fee to stop his losy service.. And I did not get the $300 dollars off in the beginning. So yes he is holding a retired person with a limited income hostage. What kind of company that doesn't do the services the right way for me and I wanted from the beginning to stop his services. When the owner called me 3 months later after the first treatment .I told him I had cancel you. He said no you didn't.  I stated I told his sales person. That's when he stated he was fired.thats when he held me hostage.thats when he said WELL IF YOU WANT TO BREAK THE CONTRACT ITS GOING TO COST YOU ALOT OF MONEY. I HAD ONE TREATMENT .ONLY ONE . I canceled it with his fired salesman. And now $1000s of dollars is my fault. His salesman person is the one at fault which internet is his fault.This business is scaming money out of people like me.There should be laws about this. Laws that cover me or anyone like me from a greater company like Core

      First of all I didn't get not to react to the last moment. I wrote the company ripping me off and holding me hostage over a contract which his services are not up to par. His services are no good. They don't do the job. I don't even remember his last visit here. I emailed the company to terminate my contract because his services are not working for me and again received nothing back. You can contact this company and they do not get back to you. . I just want this contract terminated .

      I signed up to recieve services from Core Pest Control. I sold my house in August of this year and contacted them to cancel my account. They said I had to speak to a supervisor. Because a supervisor hasn't gotten back to me I keep getting charged and they won't cancel my account.

It is our policy that to cancel an account the customer needs to talk to an account manager.  However, due to lack of communication the account has been cancelled.

      I called the office to have my house sprayed and had it set for 9/19/24 at 11am and then a few days before they change my appointment to a range appointment of 4-6pm. I called their office and demanded it get changed back to 11am on 9/19/24 because my father was coming to my house to let them in to spray the inside of the house. Well my dad comes over at 11am and waited until I got home at 2:30pm and still nobody. I checked my cameras that I have on the front of my house and back of my house. Their was nobody at my house spraying anything they claimed to have come out at 10:30 am when it was set at 11am. I called their office to find out why they didn’t come and they stated that he charted that he did. I informed her that I have cameras around my house and it didn’t catch them at all. They would have had to spray the back. They lied, but they are charging me for a service that I am not getting. I want this company to give me my money back and canceled my contract that is supposed to end in December. They are a fraudulent company.

      This company has not come out when scheduled to treat my property. They have been scheduled multiple times, but did not show up when scheduled. I would like my contract cancelled and a full refund for all payments made.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I did not sign a year contract.  I signed a 6 month contract, and I was charged a fee to cancel even though Core breeches the contract. The contract states the second service will be performed 75-90 days after the first service. That did not happen. I stayed home on 9/6 because they were scheduled to come out. Nobody showed up. I received another notice that they would be coming on 9/11. The technician did not show up at the scheduled time yet again, so I was unable to let him in to perform the service. I am requesting a full refund from Core Pest Solutions.

      We performed the service on 9/11. Our technician spoke to someone at the house and was permitted to treat the property. 

       Customer was and is still in contract. If he's going to continue to make a hassle, the contract will be reinstated and enforced in full. We have been more than fair in letting him out of his contract without a penalty after giving him a $252 discount on his initial service with the agreement and understanding that he would commit to using our service for a contracted period.

       He also understood and agreed that we would come back and service his house for free if he had any issues. However, he chose not to exercise that right and decided to accept our offer of cancelling his account without a penalty instead. 

       If the customer would like to reinstate the contract we would be more than happy to continue service. However, no refund will be issued for services rendered.

      Again - Core pest solutions did not honor the contract  they did not treat when they were supposed to  I also did not speak with anyone on 9/1. I was driving down the road when the tech pulled up before scheduled  I was not able to speak with him or let him in the home. 

      I am requesting a full refund for the services that were not provided as listed in the contract.

      Switched to the company after a door to door sales man was relentless about switching. The sales tactics of the company are unprofessional to say the least. After switching we started to notice more bugs amd spiders after just one month. By 3 months we have a more serious problem with both bugs and spiders. I have been bit as of last week by a spider. I contacted the office last week to cancel both by phone and through text message. I was texted back that a manager would call me they have not responded. By the end of the week they had charged the card with another monthly service charge. After now 7 times of contacting them to cancel my service and refund my money there has not been a response. Also after reading other complaint there may be a cancelation fee of 250 dollars for a service that doesn't work and was not disclosed.

      I have a monthly withdraw that they provide services on a quarterly basis. The last time they came to my townhouse was August 10, 2023. They did not even come into the home but knocked on the door and left. I called to figure out what was going on but they just put me on hold. Total scam

      I am rejecting this response because: the tech did come 10 August but only knocked on the door and when I went to answer turned around and did not spray as he stated. It is true that I did not complain after he left. I noticed roaches in the house and realized they have not serviced the traps outside in several months...way over the quarterly visit by NLT 10 November according to our contract. They had made no plans to set anything up going forward. If nothing else, I feel they should at least refund me for the monthly drafts in August to October.

      We'll have to agree to disagree on the service. I have the invoice stating he was there as well as the time in/out and the product usage.

      As far as the payments, the contract states that monthly payments were to be made for quarterly reservices. However, the customer has a right to call and request free reservices at any time. The payments aren't made on a per service basis, instead they are made to cover the service plan and warranty. The customer had every right to call us in between services, but decided not to.

      No refund will be issued because the customer paid payments that were due for the services that were agreed upon and nothing else.

      I hired this company in July to provide pest control at my house. They had provided pictures of their previous visits in their online portal, In October they said they provided their quarterly service but there were no pictures to support this visit. At that point I deeded to cancel my service. At that point they wanted to charge a cancelation fee and I told them they were not authorized to do so. They agreed to not pull the fee. They pulled the fee anyway. I disputed with my bank, then Core charged me the fee again. which I disputed. Ultimately the bank sided with them and awarded them the fee twice. Now Core is refusing to reimburse the second fee charge.

      I have included the email where they agreed to not pull the fee and a statement of my bank showing whee they were awarded 2 separate fees on February 17 and February 23.

      Core pest solutions appeared at the door of my house selling extermination services.

      My wife was given their sales pitch with the idea that we could have them spray and see if we noticed improvement, if so we could continue

      We paid for the service and moved on. Months later i received a text message claiming i owe more money or i have to opt out and pay a 200$ cancellation fee

      I ask what i am paying for and they say I signed up for a year and was given a discount so now i must pay routinely to maintain the service.

      So i ask them if i am paying for recurring service why has no other person come out to spray my yard and they tell me that actually i have to pay for each spray which will cost 180$ per spray as well as this 62.50$ every 3 months.

      They tell me this is what we signed up for.

      After month of harrassment i pay the installment and tell them i expect someone to come and spray
      Nobody shows up
      Then i get another text saying i owe money again
      At this point i go looking up reviews and see that this company is a scamming door to door company that has sales people who do not describe their service agreement at all.
      I am not even sure they are spraying anything much water
      Based on my experience and what i have read this business should be shut down for unprofessional and scamming practices
      Currently they are threatening to send collections agents after me and my desired settlement is to have them stop harrassing me
