purchased manufactured home from them on leased lot they own , signed contract and closed 01/13/2024. in contract they wrote repair leak in kitchen from double refrigerator prior to closing. this was written 12/15/2023 and signed. we have contacted office and president at least once per week since and leak has never been repaired by them. office secretary just states each time, they are told and meeting about it. We finally called repairman ourself when fridge went completely out and they repaired and after 3 repairs that we paid leak was fixed, however constant water leak rotted sub floor over months of leaking. we have been to office to fix over 50 times with a response of their contractor coming and saying he will fix and yet it is July and no one has come. floor is getting weaker and we contact them daily with no response. We notified our mortgage company who has also contacted them many times with no response. We had owner in town over a month ago and caught him at office and had him come look. he agreed subfloor is rotted from water and will send someone and still waiting and going to office almost daily with no response. we just want our floor fixed that they allowed to be ruined due to not honoring contract they signed in January.

    Home was sold "as is."

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The home was sold, as is with the exception noted on the contract, which I can provide. That says they will repair the water leak to the refrigerator in the kitchen. This was never done after closing the next day. The huge pile of water was back in the middle of the floor again we contacted the office multiple times regarding this with no assistance and no response other than it would be sent to upper management. We continue to call and go to the office until we finally had to pay for, a company to come and make the refrigerator repairs our self in which Palmetto Woods and Land home mortgage reimburse us for the repairs therefore admitting their responsibility. Due to the constant water leak from the refrigerator from us signing the contract and actually moving in the subfloor became rotten.  The office sent a repair man who came in verified the rotten subfloor. They agreed to fix the rotten subfloor as their responsibility. Only if we agreed to sign a form stating if they could not salvage the flooring on top of the subfloor, we would be responsible for it. We refuse to sign this because all of this came from their negligence and refusal to honor , the contract that was signed by never fixing the water leak. We have been asking for seven months for this to be taken care of with no response from the office other than upper management is looking into it.

    Sincerely,
