Took my car to be looked at by this business. Let them know it was running hot and thought it was a heater *********. They fixed the heater hose, which cost me $312 and returned the car. Car starting run hot again after a few days. Took the car back they told me I needed to have my radiator replaced. They replaced the radiator, changed the oil, its cost $600. I called to ask what was taking so long and they stated there was an air pocket and they were trying to get rid of it. They gave the car back the next day. The day after the car was given back it started running hot again. I parked the car and waited a week until I could figure out what to do. I drove the car around and noticed it wasnt running when driving around town but was sucking coolant constantly from the reservoir. I took the car back to the shop where they stated maybe I could have a bad head gasket or something. They checked it let me know the coolant housing was leaking and it would be about $600. They also stated that they thought this was leaking to begin with but couldnt verify. So basically they didnt say anything. I said no because I wanted a second opinion. I had someone else look at the car and first thing they noticed as soon as they opened the hood and took the radiator cap off that the cap was bad. They did more looking and discovered that the radiator cap being worn was causing the pressure. The second shop stated that when ***** replaced the radiator they should have replaced the cap. also. The work radiator cap caused so much pressure to build up that it had caused more issues. If they had replaced the cap it would have shown the real issues. Ive now paid over $1200 to get the car back to somewhat running because the pressure caused a crack. *** contacted ***** and **** stated in text that the cap should have been replaced. As well as another man who works at ***** which I have that recorded. I would like my money back because they arent willing to help nor do I trust them.

The customer came in the first time due to car overheating. After inspecting the vehicle we replaced both heater hoses due to the plastic connectors leaking. Customer brought the vehicle back after 1 month stating the vehicle was over heating again. We performed a combustion test, vehicle did pass so at that point we found a restriction in the radiator and replaced the radiator and thermostat. Customer brought the vehicle back almost 1 month after that stating the vehicle was over heating again, and stated that she was having to add one gallon of coolant per day. On inspection we found that there was another coolant leak at the water outlet housing. Customer declined fixing the coolant leak and picked the vehicle up. After which she brought it to another shop for inspection who stated that the radiator cap was the point of failure, citing that it was causing an excessive pressure issue. A failure of radiator cap would not allow pressure to build, radiator cap was inspected at time of radiator replacement and found good.
