I’m disabled been without hot water for two weeks, will not install new hot water heater because they want 1000 dollars down payment and being disabled I can not afford that! Over a year ago I had this company come into my home and unplug my kitchen drain, never unplugged it, was charged almost 400 dollars, went to small claims because I didn’t pay so I paid it but the work was never done until this year and was charged another 757.64 and finally they got it fixed but I’m not paying for a job that was never completed till now! Since I owe them they want another 1000 dollars for a new hot water heater and more for installing! I do not know what to do? Please help me?!

In response to the customer, there is a balance owed on the account that the customer had texted and stated we will not be seeing another dime of. The amount required upfront is standard practice for materials/parts on equipment change outs. The fact we have to specially order the Hot Water Heater ( we do not stock that on hand) asking for money upfront is to cover just that piece of equipment not even the total material needed to install the water heater. In fact, the $1000.00 doesn’t even cover the whole water heater. It's as you would say a "good faith payment".
We understand that if a customer is not happy with our practices, prices and/or work they are always welcome to call another company in the area. We believe our customers' concerns are a priority, but as company we cannot carry a balance on our books for the customer. It costs us to order the materials and then send our techs to do the work. If we did that all the time we would not still be in business after 35 years.
