      I purchased a ****** ***** prepaid credit card. My card was stolen out if the bag from a neighbor after I realize the bag I gave my neighbor with the sod I purchased for him was missing. I askwd my neighbor for my card back he lied and refused to give it to me. I called ****** ***** all Friday afternoon and all Saturday and they refused to answer my call. By this time my neighbor that stolen my card spend it . Every penny and left me with nothing. ****** ******* phone number is * ************. My gift card was worth ***** dollars. Will you please help me get some help with this credit card company refusing to answer my call. My phone number is ************.

      I were purchasing 2 products online thru ******* with the help of an employee. The employee reached the site. She were off work as she helped me, but after I were on hold for about 1 1/2 at the store the card sent me a message cancelling my card worth $*****. And put my card on restriction they said for 10 days. Saying I used the card 3 time 4-20-23 I couldn't contact anyone 4-20-23. So 4-21-23 I contacted Ms. ****. She said I used the card 3 time. I told her I used it for 1 order. I said I want my money back. She said nonrefundable

      I bought a prepaid ****** Card and loaded it with $****** at my locate ******** and it was hacked before I could even use it. I have tried calling them and getting nowhere. It was used at ******, sport websites and gam stop. Tried to get some in charge on the phone and can not. I do not have supporting documents just what I was told on the phone where it was spent. I would also like to know who hacked it so I can bring charges against them.

      I called the number on the back of the prepaid ****** Card and spoke to someone and they said it would be 7 days before they could do anything and had to let the charges that where made go thru.  I did not make any charges on the account.  The minute that I put the money on the card it was hacked.  On 5/10/2023 I spent 3 hours on the phone with their customer service that was ni help to me to get this resolved.  Then someone told me that it would take 45 to 90 days and I told them I wanted to speak to someone in charge and was left on hold.  The number is ************** and that is for MetaBank.

      I am on the phone again with MetaBank.  The phone number is **************.  I don't know if this number is for Meta Bank.  But when I look up Meta Bank ** ****** it comes back as Pathway.  Please help me.  I have a bill that I have to pay and if I don't pay it, it will affect my credit.

      I have purchased 2 *********** cards at ******* in the past 2 months, each for $***. I have had SIGNIFICANT issues being able to actually use the cards. They are declined and when I call the customer service number (often holding as long as 40 minutes and then getting disconnected after starting to explain my issue to a person), I am told the card has been compromised and they can send me a new one in 7-10 days, which is unacceptable since I have ******** ** dollars of my cash tied up in the card. No way to expedite sending a new card. Now, you might say why do I keep buying these cards...well, I believed the issues with the first card were just a fluke and had NO IDEA these cards are pretty useless due to the widespread fraud that is able to be done with them (not by me!), so yes, I purchased a second one...stupidly. I feel bad for the customer service reps because they can only do whatever they can do at their low level. They have all been polite (though I am not sure I wasn't intentionally disconnected on one call). So, I am spending hours of my time to be able to have access to my own money. And apparently Pathward/Metabank likes to hide and deny all responsibility.

      I want the company to stop selling these cards to vulnerable people. Personally, I have real credit cards I can use and have not spent my last dollars on a gift card that is then un-useable for months at a time until the issue can be resolved...if it is ever actually resolved.

      This company is ********* at the very least, though I guess they must have lawyers who know the letter of the law and thus the company is not technically violating any laws and will continue to sell the cards and then hide from responsibility until it is no longer profitable from the company. I do think a class action lawsuit needs to be filed against this company.

      Due to the pandemic, a reward card I was given from my employer for $*** a year ago expired. I never activated the card. I called Metabank to reissue the card and they refused saying the card and funds expired. I found nothing on the card or the materials I received properly disclosing this to the customer. I tried to speak to a manager to find out the terms and agreement for the card and the customer service representative refused my request and put me on a permanent hold to try to speak to a supervisor.

      My stimulus check in the amount of $******** was deposited in a account called METABANK. Looking online for this bank institution was tiresome. I can't get a hold of a live agent. It doesn't seem legit. The IRS told me to contact them. I did. I was sent to ********. No account found. It was closed. I tried contacting METABANK. Only then while reaching out to them, they said they were merged with PATHWORD. ******** said the routing number for my deposit was not In there banking system. I submitted info to the IRS. Their reply was it was deposited In this account. I told IRS they had wrong account number. I called, went online. Neither company responded to the account number or personal documentation I entered. I belive I've been scammed. Any help would be appreciated.

      In 2019 I had a **** card through ******** I used for a daily pay account. I haven't used it since. Some how on April 28 2023 a direct deposit went in to a **** account with the last 4 digits of ****. ******** told me they are no longer affiliated and Pathward is the account holder.       On April 10th. I submitted a claim of an unactivated gift card for $******...purchased at a retail outlet. I supplied the documentation asked for...Copy of my drivers license and a copy of the purchased card , front and back.

      The card was not activated. I was told I would receive a response within 10 days...Numerous
      phone calls and follow up emails later I have received no response and been hung up on
      numerous times. After finally getting an answer to a call I was told I needed the receipt, of which I explained I did not have but I could provide the credit card statement with which the card was purchased. After being put on hold I was once again hung up on. Please provide assistance. I am copying the states attorneys office as well. This is disgraceful to me as a consumer. Thank you. I spent $****** on the gift card that did not work for whatever reason? All I ask is the card be replaced at the value purchased! $******.

      Purchased with a Corporate **** Credit Card ending in...****

      receipt was inadvertently lost by the company accounting department.  

       

      A statement can be provided showing the purchase of several gift cards in addition to the card in question.

      I have purchased many of these cards over time and quite honestly I am appalled at the lack

      of professionalism and lack of integrity your company is displaying.  

       

      There is no fraud or deception taking place here.  Simple solution would be to refund a credit to my card.

       

      I will share a copy of this email with the BBB and the States Attorneys office.

      I have always been an honest businessman who on a daily basis operates with

      Integrity, Character and Ethics.  Doing the right thing is always our premise.

      It's a shame you do not exhibit the same consideration to the honest customers who 

      purchase your product?!

      I purchased one of their prepaid cards and added money to it. And then did a return to the card however, it put it into their fraud protection. They told me to call back in three business days which I did then they told me to call back in another business day which I did this is continued on for a week without any resolution, and they cannot tell me when there will be a resolution and my money freed up I feel like the money was stolen from me, and this may have been a scam
