I purchased two **** Gift Debit cards from ****** back in December of 2022 for $** each. The cards never loaded the $** and ****** told me it wasn't their problem. The issuer of this card is Pathward and Metabank. I filled out all the necessary forms and submitted all the required information and no one will answer my requests for follow up. I have emailed them 5 times and called them 3 or 4 times and I don't receive any response. I purchased a card from ****** ******* here in ********* ** ***** ***** **
The attendant scanned a ******* **** barcode to load ** bucks I got home it wasn’t on there
So I asked my girlfriend rose ***** ********** to send me cash she sent me $*** bucks there was no issue until I linked my card to her cash app and tried to add $*** bucks
They locked my account and rejected my tax refund
I currently have $****** on my account ending in ****
I’ve contacted pathward national association
Which has taken over and changed its name from meta bank
They issue the cards for ********* uses the same routing number
So I contact ********* and they request a written letter verifying my info I sent in the letter on the 30th of march
I haven’t heard anything or had my account unlocked

I bought a ****** ***** **** gift card and I loaded $*** onto it and there was a unauthorized transaction, so I called customer service, and found a lost or stolen card dispute and they issued me re-replacement card with $*** on hand. To the BBB.. Rapid Pay card has not taken the correct action. They have ignored that these transactions were made without my permission. The ATM was not used when transactions were done. The out of network fees are being ignored. My account was charged for stolen money. I can't believe this company operates like this. Let me $******** does not grow on trees. I reached out to card.com because my phone and wallet case was lost/stolen. I uploaded unauthorized transactions and they sent me an email saying that my account was being close because that they couldn’t verify my identity or my account. I uploaded my information to their site. My money was stolen off and they haven’t replaced my money. I saved that up from my social security check and it’s gone and I’m behind on bills. I purchased ******* Gift Card #**** **** **** **** on September 15, 2022. The card was
defective. It did not have a 3-digit CVV code. The space for the code was blank. In addition, the
magnetic strip on the card would not read even when slid through multiple grocery store scanners. I
am unable to access the $*** I applied to the card.
I have retained the card, original purchase receipt, and all original packaging for the card. Attachment
2 is a copy of the receipt showing the amount on the card and that it was purchased with my bank
debit card.
Customer Service at phone ************** was unable to help me with this compliant.

I purchased ******* Gift Card #*** **** **** **** on January 30, 2023. This card stopped
functioning after the first on-line purchase was completed. I contacted Customer Service at phone ** ************ and was told there was an "issue" with the card. They were unable to help me with the
"issue". I am unable to access the remaining balance on the card of $**.

Per the account holder agreement, "After receiving notice, the other party has 30 days to attempt to
resolve the issue before a suit or arbitration commences." I believe these 2 complaints are
straightforward enough that my requests can be satisfied without arbitration. However, I am willing to
participate in the arbitration process, if needed.

Has an *** ***** prepaid card through meta bank and was told my account was locked from owing money on other accounts. I verify my identity and when I ask what the amount is I can never get an answer. Spoke to 4 operators and i also have them recorded. When I ask the amount they transfer me back to the main menu. I’m being taken in circles and I can’t agree to payment if I don’t know the amount. And now they won’t let me have access to my money. Hello! I’ve been banking with Meta Bank since 2019. I’ve had a recent bad experience with the back March 10,11,2023 i logged to my account to see **** was taken out without my permission or card being present. The transactions were taken out from a location i’ve never been to or heard. I filed the dispute with the bank on March 12, or 13, 2023 . I asked would a throughly investigation be done they said yes. I called them everyday after to check the status . The customer service team could not give me details other than check back on March 24 the investigation will be done . I kept calling to get a more in depth response of the investigation, i’ve asked to talk to the investigator or the investigation team. They always told me i couldn’t speak to them or for me to call back. I wanted to inform them that there are a thing called skimmers that are placed on these ATMs and i believe i’ve been a victim to these hackers . No thoroughly investigation was properly done . I asked about cameras , they couldn’t answer that either . I’ve been stripped of my integrity my loyalty with this bank my hard working money . I’m a victim of this bank and feel either they took the money or someone else has with my knowledge or permission and won’t give it back . Their customer service is ********. I can’t get the correct answers needed to feel secure . I’ve been robbed and there’s no actual proof showing the $**** was actually me. They closed the dispute saying error . What does that even mean and not accredited my account. I need real answers, i need these ******** ** bank corporations to accurately be investigated. *** ** ***** *** that $**** Meta bank took from me or didn’t do the investigation on has taunted me for the rest of my life.Business Response
