    I tried contacting mini stor all the last week of october a few times to make a payment* **** got ahold of me nov 5th and left a voicemail that my unit had been disposed of. nov 7th my daughter went into the office to talk to **** and she threatened to call the cops on my daughter. I explained to **** my unit was paid for and she argued with me that i was wrong.
    My balance was $0 July 29, 2024 12:26pm. she received a payment for 425 on one unit and a payment for 265 on my other unit. she claims she never got the money however I have proof of payment from her that she printed out for me.
    I want my property back of compensated. I know i didnt get a letter in the mail of taking my unit for money owed. nothing was submitted to the newspaper and i have alot of property in these units. Ive been with the company since 2020-2021 and cant believe this is happening to me.

    The merchant was paid monthly from us from January 2023-July 23 using autopay throught the merchant. We rented a 5x7 unit at the location on 41st street in Sioux Falls,South Dakota. We went to our unit 932 on May 27th 2023 at 12:55pm we gathered some items from our unit as we had purchased a home and was storing some of our items in the unit. In October 2023 we noticed the autopay had stopped coming out of our account. We went to our unit and we were denied access into the gate. We contacted the merchant Mini Stor All and spoke with **** who informed us we never had a contract nor were a customer of theirs. I informed this unit was on autopay and we were never sent a letter,email, or personally told that our unit would be disconnected and that we needed to gather our items required by local law. I asked for resolution throughout the week and was continued to be told they did not have a contract for us, a move in or move out record, or any other information about our unit. We asked if they had auctioned any units off, if anyone has moved in since we were last at our unit a few months prior and we were informed that these have not occurred. I continued to contact **** before taking this to Civil court. **** (Manager) informed me she would no longer speak to me. She would be contacting cooperate but would not speak to me any longer. Later that day I received a call from Jim in cooperate who informed me they did have a contract, as well as a move in and move out agreement. We were told we moved out July 25. We had never verbally or written informed them we were moving out. Our unit still contained out items on this date. They informed us that their is nothing they could do. They stated they drive through the units daily and if they do not have paddle locks the owners would receive a call (we never received any notice of this and we did have a paddle lock) we were told if the unit was empty and no lock they consider this a move out. Refused to provide security footage.

    Family member have had a unit back in 2011. This is unrelated to the unit we have been renting since January 2023. Both my father (as requested by merchant) as the contract was in his name have contacted this merchant in hopes for clarification/replacement of lost property. **** ******** has contacted the merchant and spoke with them several times during this dispute and was told they have never had a contract for him at any point as the merchant has lost/misplaced the contract and rented out the unit while we were still renting/paying monthly for it. At this point due to my (****** ********) card being charged with my property in the unit have taken over the dispute as the merchant was unwilling  to assist **** ******** (my father)  after several attempts to locate and replace the missing property due to merchant error due them misplacing/loosing our contract.
