  VitalChek is a complete scam. We paid $68.50 for a copy of my N.Y. State Birth Cert. on January 10, 2023.
  It is now July 5, 2023. My order number and pin is not recognized by their website! I have been on hold for 32 minutes, with no end in sight.
  They say they are located in Brentwood TN.
  As a former TN resident, I can attest that there are a lot of useless, unhelpful businesses in TN.. The customer service in that area is absolutely horrible!!

  After waiting 10 business days for my order to be shipped, I was notified that it was delayed. VitalChek did not reach out with details of the delay or when I should expect it to be shipped. It’s been 7 additional business days (so far) of waiting and it’s been radio silence from VitalChek. I’m still having to call the state office everyday to get an update for my documents’ status. It sucks because VitalChek is the only option for getting documents from state governments. So annoying. Their website is also hard to use. You have to log back in every time you click on anything and it just takes to the main order page.

  Attempted to order birth certificate to obtain a new license. I even selected that as my reason and they asked for my license number anyway. It was factually impossible to complete that order and they still charged me. Not only that, I was charged TWICE for a second erroneous order placed within minutes of the first.

  Scam, very dissapoined. I wish I knew that before paying them. . Do not spend any money with this fraudulent company. Applied for a Duplicate Birth Certificate on 2/15/22, still hasnt been fulfilled. With no estimate of when it will arrive. They will not refund me and told me I can go to a county office and get it myself.

  Our county directed us to them. A week after we ordered my mother's death certificate, I received an email asking for a sworn statement to the county. We were leaving for a long weekend the next day, so six days later, we faxed it in. Today, I received another email asking for it. I called, and their unhelpful agents said that there was no documentation attached. So I send to cancel, since this morning I asked the funeral chapel to get us 5, and they're reliable. She said they could cancel the order, but not refund the processing fee. I should go to the county for that.
  I don't understand that, since it's their processing fee.
  They did, however get us a copy of our marriage license right before that.

  I ordered a death certificate. It never arrived. I paid almost $40 for this certificate and they have the nerve to ask if you want to pay an additional $20 to have it shipped overnight that way it's "insured and tracked" otherwise you can't track your already expensive order. Even ****** let's you track items you've purchased for $5. This company is a scam.

  Texas has made it very difficult to renew your driver's license. I was given a piece of paper by an employee and told to contact Vitalchek to get a copy of my birth certificate. That my original from LA County and the hospital, plus my expired passport didn't count. I paid $45.00 to these people on April 5th by email. It's now June and no word. The state of California say they can only tell Vitalchek the status of my order. I can't get through Vitalchek;s automated phone system, Nor their online system. The State of California sent me an online form saying to pay them directly this time. I was supposed. to have my birth certificate by June 1st at the latest.
  If it ever comes it will be without tracking information, but I doubt I will ever get it. Meanwhile I dodge police to keep from having a traffic ticket, These people are beyond being dodgy,

  My order for a birth certificate was completed in both an efficient & timely manner. No excessive promises, they broke down the exact procedure to be used with the cost estimate right on the money. Kudos for a job well done!
