      I purchased a sectional sofa January 30, 2020. I purchased the extended warranty that covered for 5 years. Within 4 months the recliner portion had broken and wouldnt recline. The end seat was also leaning horribly. I filed a complaint and because of Covid, the never sent anyone out. Fast forward to 7/26/21. I contacted them again. The tech came out and said that everything was covered. Nothing was ever done. Fast forward to 4/10/24 I filed another claim trying to get it fixed again. Sent a tech out, he screwed a few pieces of wood together and said he would be back to replace the reclining mechanisms on both ends. Guy never showed back up. **************** said it was due to excessive soiling. Contacted the lady who is over the warranty stuff on 7/10/24 said she would look into it. Never heard anything back. Cannot get a call back or a text back. Sent all photos and still nothing is done. One side of the sectional will not recline. Several pieces of wood are broken and there are tears in the fabric on the door rest on one side. The extended warranty was supposed to cover all of that. I cannot even get anyone to talk to me about it now. My warranty is up January *******. I need help.

      I'm sorry that you are having issues with your extended warranty company claims. This isn't a Rooms For Less thing as much as a Uniters issue which we have no control over how they handle their claims. even though they denied your claim we are will to give you your money back that you spend on the warranty. We spoke with the warranty company today and they said they sent info on 1/17/2022 for you to get a partial ***lacement of your sectional but that you didn't respond back to them. Fast forward to the next time you had them come out she said that after they denied the claim due to excessive soiling the *** said you were told to dispute the it on 6/10/2024. after they didn't hear anything they closed it out. When damage occurs you are suppose to ***ort to them within 15 days of it happening. When they came out and inspected everything they said there was lots of small damage all over that should have been ***orted as well as the soiling.

      On 02/20/24 I purchased a sectional from Rooms for Less in ***********, ** off of **********. I paid $1894.31. the product was delivered until 04/01/24. Upon delivery, I noticed the *** chaise was damaged. I immediately had the driver note it to the record and contacted the store. I was told a new chaise would be delivered in the next 2 weeks. I called back 3 weeks later and they gave me the runaround. I called back again and was told there was 1 in the warehouse. About 2 days later I got a call saying there was no rime frame I. Whi h they could get it. I am not happy and demand a partial refund for the damaged item. I feel 20% of the total purchase price is reasonable. That is roughly $375.

      Looking at the item history it looks like the first one that came in was damaged so they reordered you another, the second also came in damaged but they sent it to you to use until another one would come in so you wouldn't be without. We do understand that it is frusterating waiting for new items to come in and as this isn't the way we carry the sectional sometimes it takes longer to get special order items in and i'm very sorry for your inconvenience but we have no control over when an item comes instock or how fast the manufacturer can get it to us.   Your new chaise is scheduled to come in on our Ashley ***** tomorrow (5/31) as long as the ***** shows up. So when that item gets in they will call and schedule a replacement time to come out and replace it for you.
