On June 24, 2024, BBB reviewed information advertised by SE Consulting Group on their website and Facebook page after noting their affiliation to Harris Plumbing as part of Harris Enterprises. All businesses list Tyler Harris as the principal officer. BBB maintains a separate report on Harris Plumbing, which can be viewed at https://www.bbb.org/us/tn/cleveland/profile/heating-and-air-conditioning/harris-plumbing-llc-0483-80008653.


BBB noted that Mr. Harris lists himself as Managing Partner and CPA for SE Consulting Group. BBB was unable to located a CPA license for the firm or for Mr. Harris through the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance, which requires that a firm operating in Tennessee that advertises accounting services must hold a CPA license or have at least one licensed CPA on staff.

On July 2, 2024, Tyler Harris confirmed that he does not hold a CPA license. He notified BBB that Southeast Consulting Group is no longer operating and was working to have the company's website taken down. On July 3, 2024, Mr. Harris notified BBB that the website was inactive, however the company continues to have an online presence on other sites, such as Yelp. BBB will continue to monitor information.
