    My husband 74 and I was traveling to Ohio from Florida to see my parents 86yrs old. We grew very tired and decided to stop at a motel. My husband went into this Econo Lodge and the woman said that it was newly painted, new carpet etc. Okay, sounds good. We went into the room and first noticed the carpet old, no fresh paint, electrical plugs were broke(which is a fire hazard), sink nozzle broke off of sink, room smelled, roaches crawling all over, bedding not changed, has visual body fluids on it. Air conditioner was broke. My husband went to the woman up front and she said I can't help you, I only work here. We were so tired, we debated sleeping in our car, but we decided the only thing to do was to pull the bedding off the bed and we had a blanket in the car so we laid it down and kept the lights all night, hoping the bugs stayed off of us. Needless to say, we didn't sleep, for the worry of bugs, and the chance of a fire because of electrical issues. I want our money back and I want this place turned into the health department and Osha. This motel needs to be shut down.. Please help us get our money back.

    I checked in on July 17, 2022 and paid $87.55. Our room was unsatisfactory and I asked for a refund and left. Only being there for 10 mins. I was told it would take 5-7 business days for the pending charge to go back in my account. I’ve called and contacted the residence several times and told no one could help but the owner and she keeps evading me and my calls. They tell me she comes in at 11 I call they say she won’t be there till 4 I leave a message to call back and receive nothing.

    Refund was issued same day if still showing the charge on the card then send me the proof because on my end refund was issued same day they left.
