      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Discount Cleaners, located at *************************************; email: ********************** due to the unsatisfactory service and damages that occurred on April 5th, 2024.On April 5th, I entrusted Discount Cleaners with several items of my daughter's clothing. Upon collecting the garments on April 6th, I discovered that a pair of white pants and a white shirt had been stained blue, and a black coat appeared unclean. I immediately returned to the store with the stained items and provided photographs for verification. I returned only the white blouse and pants, not realizing that the black coat and pants were the source of the staining. Unfortunately, the store employee failed to inform us of this possibility or suggest re-cleaning the black coat and pants.Later that day, my daughter wore the black coat during our flight to *********. During the flight, the dye from the black coat and pants transferred to other garments, causing further damage. Additionally, my daughter experienced severe skin irritation, which I believe was caused by residual chemicals left on the coat after cleaning.Due to her imminent travel to the ** on April 9th, where a coat was essential, we had no choice but to purchase a new coat at a cost of $447.59. Upon returning to ******* on April 10th, I provided Discount Cleaners with the original damaged black coat as evidence of their defect. Despite what was claimed by the store, I did not take the coat back; it remains with them as evidence. I also have photographs taken on May 4th, 2024, showing the re-cleaned black pants and light jeans that were stained by the black pants in the suitcase.Given the circumstances, I am seeking a total reimbursement of $497.12, which includes the cost of the replacement coat and related expenses. Additionally, I believe an apology is warranted for the health hazard posed to my daughter and the disruption caused to our family during our time in *********.
