"On February 22, 2021 and again on March 5, 2021, BBB asked the business to substantiate a claim made on its website. The business advertised that offered "largest selection of patches in middle Tennessee". BBB's Code Of Advertising (COA), section 28, states:

28. Objective Superlative Claims
Superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests. As statements of fact, such claims, ""largest selection of patches in middle Tennessee" can be proved or disproved.

BBB's Code of Advertising requires businesses making such claims to be prepared to supply proof. BBB requested the business' voluntary cooperation in providing documentation that supports the advertised claims of "largest selection of patches in middle Tennessee" BBB advised the business if it could not provide this substantiation, BBB asked that this claim not be included in future advertising or to be modified. However, the business failed to substantiate, modify or discontinue the claim.
