This company did work at my home on June 6, 2024. The work included trimming two large oak trees. When Mr. ******* ********************** visited to view the area prior to giving an estimate, he stated he was certified to perform tree work. Within a month of the trimming, one of the trees began exhibiting signs of distress. Leaves began turning brown and falling off. I contacted 3 tree companies and an arborist, and all said what was done to the trees was completely wrong. The trees had been spiked and too much volume had been removed from them, leaving them open to distress and disease. The arborist provided an intensive $250 treatment for both trees in an effort to save them. I originally texted Mr. ********************** on July 19, and requested a refund for the tree work. He refused. I again texted on August 5, and sent the invoice and receipt, and he said he would reimburse me for $250. I have since texted him several times with no response. In his last text on August 7, he also said he would cut down the tree and grind the ***** for free if needed. We wont know until spring if the tree survives. The tree and my yard currently look like October. However, since he has not responded or paid the $250, I dont hold any hope that he would respond if or when I need the tree removed. As late as yesterday, he was posting on local social media for tree work business but he has failed to respond to me. This man and his company should not have anything to do with tree work. I have copies of all communication with Mr. **********************.

The business finally responded and paid me $250 for the cost of root treatment to save the tree (hopefully). The business also contacted me and asked me to remove the complaint, and stated they will remove the tree at no cost if needed. I will agree to resolve this current BBB complaint, however I reserve the right to submit a new complaint if the company does not honor their word and remove the tree at no cost, if needed in the spring.
