    On march 27th 2023 I went to autozone to rent a tool. I used the tool and returned it the same day. A couple days later. I noticed I had been refunded twice so I went to the store with a print out from my bank. The store manager Inform me it was a duplicate and it would fall off. He also informed me that all his books And numbers were correct and he showed no overpayment.. Now please understand I went to the business to address the issue and was assured that there was no problem.... Fast forward april 27th 2023 I get an unexpected charge on my account from autozone Without my knowledge... Which also causes my account to be overdrafted!!! So it is reported as a fraud through my bank and then after further investigation. It was the exact amount that I had addressed last month. So come to find out they did in fact. Put too much in my account and took it back without my knowledge a month later causing an overdraft. I have talked numerous times to my local autozone. They had no knowledge of this not even the Store manager. The store manager has Contacted corporate with no respons. Now please understand I tryed to do the right thing A month prior with no help. now I have been charged more money for something I had Been assured it was correct a month ago . I have spoke to the store manager multiple times and He is unable to reimburse me my overdraftfy fee. At this time I am pursuing legal Assistance all because autozone could not contact me and say they made A mistake and how they wanted to fix it instead of just going into my account. How this was handled is very unprofessional and disrespectful. The store has all my contact informatiand apparently my card number on file as well. They simply could have Contacted me directly to fix the issue without costing me more money. Now this company has cost me money and will not communicate with me or the store manager to fix the issue.

    We resolved this situation. We paid him cash for the overdraft fee. Our system glitched and returned the money twice. Our company uses a third party to do the accounting. Once a month, if there are discrepancies, that is when they take the money out or put it in so that's where the hang up was.
