    Abenity, Inc. formed a nationwide partnership with my sorority in 2024. They promoted vacation villas and other marketing discounts. I purchased a vacation villa to celebrate for a group of friends.
    The promotional information was falsely advertised by the online photographs and when we checked in, the home was disgustingly dirty and unsafe as the patio door did not lock and the front door did not close without slamming it shut. I contacted the manager of the property and told her of the unsafe and dirty conditions of the property. We were not staying in a location where doors did not lock and property had not been cleaned in months. She asked us to leave the key where we accessed it and we left. We had to rearrange our entire lodging for our weekend trip because of their negligence by staying in multiple hotels.
    I requested a full refund and Abenity and the property manager refused. The unsafe, disgusting, and dirty location is 1210 Sea Bird Way, San Diego, CA.

    Be careful signing any contract with these guys. It's a one year contract, but apparently if you don't cancel well in advance of the end of the year, it automatically renews for another year and they try to lock you in even if you won't be using it and won't let you cancel until the next year. Complete ** -- got stuck paying $1.5k / month for another year for garbage that we don't have a need for and was presenting issues before (which was also more than what their current rates are -- and they wouldn't even lower it to what they advertise now). And even then they took well over a month and several follow-up emails to even acknowledge the cancelation request. Poorly run business with very unethical practices in my opinion by trying to force contracts for another year at a time if you don't cancel ahead of time. I'd stay away from them at all costs.

    I was turned away by the Newfoundland Deli when I presented the Abenity printout of “their offer”. The Deli said they know nothing about Abenity nor why they are on the Abenity app. Needless to say I paid full price for the 8” sandwich, which was to come with 1/2 pound of potato salad and a drink.

    Warning! read the small print before signing a contract with these people. Don't make the mistake I made. I am not able to use the service for technical updates in my platform and they don't care and are holding me to my annual contract. They have the "legal" right to do that because I made the mistake to assume that if I could at some point not use the service I would not be charged. I personally could not sleep at night taking someone's money without them using my service. So now basically I will have to hand over $10,200.00 over 12 months for a service I can't even use and they basically don't give a ****. I don't know how some people can sleep at night. Shame on them. Just be careful and read the small print when signing a contract with them, in any case who would want to do business with people that do not have a moral compass and hide behind lawyers.

    I am extremely disappointed with the services provided. I initially purchased flights thru this company that were exchangeable and refundable with travel protection. I received a call from a travel agent who said she was able to get nonstop flights. I paid the extra fee for the nonstop flights that were not available when I initially procured. The agent did not inform me the tickets were non refundable/non exchangeable so when my travel plan changed, I was informed there was nothing they could do assist me…even with the travel protection. So in essence, I paid $733 for flights that I can not use and ended up having to purchase another ticket to arrive to my final destination. I was unable to email the agent because every email came back undelivered and any other agent I spoke with would refer me to her. I have received conflicting information from different agents and I am very disappointed with this ‘perk’. I will never use this service again unless this issue can be resolved. If the agent would have informed me of the type of tickets I was purchasing were not exchangeable or refundable, I would have kept my initial itinerary. The business practices are extremely subpar and now I am at a loss of money. I question the ethical practices of this company.
