      Called to get a quote on aeration and seeding, was told I could have it done immediately and prepaid for a whole year of service ($1100 for my small lawn.) The sales rep said they would contact me to schedule the aeration and seeding. The truegreen service showed up today knowing nothing about aerating and that he was just here to spray. Said they don't do that until the fall which doesn't help me at all. Contacted customer support (which sounded like I was talking through a walkie talkie) and asked them to schedule me for aeration immediately as was the conditions of my purchase. Waiting for them to contact me back.Their salespeople will be dishonest and say anything to get the sale. Working on holding them to it or I'm cancelling my credit card payment.

      Would like to give Trugreen 0 stars, but you can't. I have had only trouble with them since I signed up over a month ago. In fact I still haven't gotten a treatment. Here's my story.In early March I called and received a quote from them. After getting 5 other calls with different prices for the same service I contracted with them only to find out later that it was for ONLY HALF OF MY LAWN. I canceled the service. I started getting calls and apologies and they decided to do my whole lawn for a decent price. Unfortunately this is not the end. They have scheduled and canceled my service 5 times. Each time they tell me that my new date is all set but that they cannot give me a confirmation. I am told that I will get a text the day before, which I don't. When I call I am told that it is too late to get service for the promised day!! I then get scheduled for the following week. This happened at the end of March and the beginning of April. Then my appointment for April 8th was changed to the 15th. When I called today (didn't get a text) it is now changed to the 18th! As no pre emergent was put down I am now getting crab grass.During this process I was told 6 times that a supervisor would call me but I have NEVER gotten a call back. Tru green does not have a place for reviews on their site.

      On behalf of TruGreen we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. After reviewing that customers account, we see that the customers service was self-postponed twice by the customer. *********************** branch managers have spoken with the customer and offered to come out immediately and service the customers lawn and the customer declined to reinstate their service. He stated that TruGreen could only come to his property if we get rid of his weeds at no cost. We offered to reinstate the customers cancelled service and to help make this right. TruGreen cannot come out to treat the lawn if the customer is not a customer.

      I cancelled my service at the end of the last growing season due to issues with my last application - I watched as they only sprayed half my lawn and when I asked the applicator about this he got indignant and said he had covered the entire lawn. When I cancelled they said they would have a different applicator take care of my lawn if I did not cancel, I cancelled anyway. Three days ago I re-opened my account - my mistake. In looking at the satellite image of my property with grass areas supposedly delineated with each lawn area square footage listing and the total square footage they said was lawn I found they grossly inflated the actual lawn area. When I re-opened my account I was told that someone would come out and measure my yard prior to application but they could only do so if I re-opened the account. Trusting I wouldn't be lied to I re-opened the account with the assurance of a proper measurement of the grass portion of the property prior to application. Today the applicator rolled up and got ready to spray the lawn. I asked him if he was here to measure the lawn and he stated he knew nothing about that and wasn't equipped to perform measurements. I showed him the satellite image of my property and he agreed that much of what ********* indicated as grass was really stone and pavement. He told me that the satellite image must be from before the stone and pavement was put down - unless their satellite images are more than 15 years old that cannot be the case. I do not feel that Tru-Green has been honest and truthful in their dealings with me and I would not recommend them to anyone. I should have followed my first instinct and gone with someone else.

      I have used TruGreen for several years on my acre property. The yard looks pretty good. Still dealing with some back yard weeds, maybe because of the ***** behind me.The applicators have always been polite and knowledgeable.When the weed kill wasn't 100% successful, TGreen was never hesitant in sending them back for a followup treatment.I am usually home during the applications so I know they are covering the entire property. Hopefully this will be another good year.Thanks

      I only got an automated message 24 hours before the came out and did my yard and then they charged my card w/o my consent a really high amount for one application. Its a screwed up system where they hold your card on file and if you don't cancel at the end of each season, they charge you a really high amount the next spring. They were very unapologetic about it when I called and said by me agreeing the year before they are *********** do this w/o calling or informing me. Really bad customer service and a crappy way to handle this issue.

      I have asked Tru Green to stop e mail !/ text ads for months . No avail. They change origination sites to prevent blocking. Very annoying/ unresponsive company . Source Local and refuse to be part of care -less business

      I've been with Trugreen for several years. Everything worked fine until last year. They created a very "smart" schema to rip you off. When you sign- up for a new year and pay in advance to get " a few $$ discount", you don't realize that some of the services from the last year AUTOMATICALLY moved to the next year. And if you have not CANCELED each one of them INDIVIDUALLY, you will get a non-requested service and get billed.Nice! And after calling customer service-you get an answer- you can cancel if you don't like it. Nice! Not to mention that service is becoming worse and worse each month- maybe it's only related to our local ************* representative. Looks like they are spaying your lawn with weeds( probably much cheaper). Or they might not even come- just sending some report by mail.Nice!

      August 2023 I purchased TruGreen service and paid for the entire year. They have my credit card on file and started charging me for monthly service in March of 2024. I have called several times to rectify this situation and was told the monies would be put back into my account instead they have charged my account 2 more times.

      On behalf of TruGreen we apologize for the inconvenience. Corporate care has tried contacting the customer several times via email and via phone has not been able to reach the customer. **********************'s policy state that all services auto renew until the customer says other wise. Upon review the account was still active and it auto renewed. Their account has been cancelled, credited and refunded.

      Have called TruGreen asking for help in *********. Have been called so many times only to be told they will call back or show up. All of this is true ... minus they have never called back nor shown up. They are not dependable and it reflects poorly. Although I only leave 5 star reviews on ****** since it's easy to complain, it has been incredibly comforting to share the experience of 'dealing with' TruGreen in ********* to save others the experience and wasted time. TruGreen doesn't do what they say. Based on a current 1.09 score out of 5 with ***** reviews, it appears evident they don't care about their neighbors. If your not going to call or come, don't say you will.

      Twice now our local (********, **) tru green has said they provided service. They have not been to my house. Both days they say they came I have been home. No flag in front yard, no sign of granules in the yard, no sign of spraying liquid fertilizer, no sign of one of their trucks on my street. The first day they said they came (3/13/24) there was zero communication from them about service happening. We only found out because we called and asked when we would be scheduled on the 15th. We told them that we didnt think they were here because we saw no flag or other sign of them (cameras) coming. We also received zero communication from them about the visit, not even an after visit summary. We asked at that time they come again(as per their policy) My wife called to talk about the scheduling of their visit and was told by one of the representatives that they hadnt been to our house(admission of deceit by tru green employee!) This past Friday I received a text saying they would be here today (4/1/24). I received a two texts this morning saying they are on the way with the technicians name attached. I received another text saying they arrived at 10:59. Then one minute later at 11:00 I received a text saying service completed with an after visit summary. No one from tru green was here. No one serviced my lawn. We called and spoke to the office, and their explanation was that a new guy mustve gone to the wrong house. Okay, I could buy that explanation if we werent lied to before, if they said they would send him back to the right address, and if the company didnt say the service took 1 minute. We elected to cancel service, which we had prepared for the year for. Stay away from the ********, ** TRU GREEN! They will do nothing but lie to you and rip you off.
