      As new homeowners, we were new to the lawn care service, but knew that TruGreen was an established company. Unfortunately, that did not help us. They treated our lawn without any soil analysis, gave us misguided information, mistreated the existing weeds which allowed them to spread and subsequently kill our grass, and now we are on the path to needing to re-sod half of our front yard at our expense due to their negligence. Communications are spotty at best, and I never received notifications when I am supposed to, nor did I receive any notifications that my service was about to restart, but they sure are able to send bills in a timely manner. The regional manager was also supposed to contact me months ago, but I keep being ignored. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. The customer is never right. And its ironic too When I signed up, I was told there are billion company and they stand behind their product no matter what. Clearly, thats a lie.

      On behalf of TruGreen we apologized for the inconvenience.TruGreen service manager ******************* has spoken with the customer, and he has come up with a plan to help repair the customers lawn. ******** stated that the condition of his lawn is due to environmental issues not something TruGreen applied. In good faith ******** has agreed to put down a Fungicide in two weeks and reevaluate the lawn when it comes out of dormancy. TruGreen corporate care will continue to follow up with the customer throughout this process.

      This lawn service is a complete rip-off. It doesn't provide the service that it says .after my year was up ,that i prepaid in advance for, they continued billing me . I would not recommend this lawn service to anyone. They are terrible, they do not listen to any your complaints. All they care about is the bottom line and been able to s**** y** out of another couple payments.

      Thank you for reaching out to us.  A member of our corporate care team reached out to this customer.  We explained that like many other service providers, we also provided a continuous program.  We let the customer know the service is not a contract, and can be canceled at any time.  We apologized if the customer was not aware of this.  All services have canceled as requested, and we have refunded the customer for the two applications they received in 2024.

      Cant explain the disaster with them and there employees ?????? I had a very hard time to get to talk to someone and they promised a phone call back and never happened, I payed upfront and I had to go thru h*** to get my money back .still working on it ! So bad I think I need to contact the federal trade commission and the better business bureau. So mad I just cant explain it all but I will say this I will never accept a person to threaten my wife or my 10 lb dog that my wife is holding and pay them money up front.! I had I struggled to get my money refunded and still havent yet!!!!!!?? what do these people think ! Just cant explain it all all I wanted is a refund at parts ways and it was hard and still not got it ! I will say this also , if that employee ever I mean ever steps on property again it will so bad and I probably be in jail!!!!!!!!!??

      I hired TruGreen services 9 months ago and paid a whole year upfront. I received updates for supposed services that were to be completed regularly. After a service was completed, I came home from work and saw there was nothing spread in my yard. I checked my security cameras to verify what the company had done only to find that someone came by, poked one of their signs in my yard, and drove off. I called, emailed, and even spoke the the techs to make complaints and nothing changed. I finally demanded someone from either regional or corporate to contact me. The response was cancelling my services without telling me, sending very rude emails, and when I was unable to answer the phone, the voicemail was also unprofessional.

      On behalf of TruGreen we apologized for the inconvenience. TruGreen service manager ************************* did a lawn evaluation. He stated that there was POA growing where a truck was parked in the Fall so, we couldnt apply preemergent to the lawn in that area. He also stated that the bare areas are very compacted and are showing Tree roots. He recommended putting topsoil in the bare spots. He also told the customer that fleas are difficult to ********************** and cant really guarantee effectiveness because flea products are only good for one month of effective treatment. He agreed to credit the Lime application and he offered to Aerate the customers lawn at no cost. Corporate customer care will continue to follow up with the customer throughout this process.

      They invoiced me for drive-by without providing any treatment on the lawn. The invoice said they provided treatment 5 gallons of potash+pre/post weed control. This is an absolute lie. I saw the truck drive by and have the recording on my camera. However, they never stopped and provided any treatment. My home has multiple cameras with multiple angles of my lawn. This is the absolute worst company. If I could give a lower rating than one star I would certainly do it.

      PROS: *********** that came out & treated my yard were ok??. No problem w them. CONS: The billing department does NOT listen to the customer at all. I have cancelled my plan w TruGreen today. I spoke w ******* (man) He assured me he would resolve the issue then proceeded to try & get me to stay w the **mpany!!!!! ?? No thank u. I will not re**mmend this ** to anyone.

      I had new sod in my yard. I started TruGreen treatments 2 months after I moved into my new home. With each treatment I saw more and more of the grass die. We complained many times to TruGreen. They plugged the yard and laid new Bahia grass seed. This seed never grew and the grass continued to die. Other neighbors did not experience the same problem. I had the ground tested and the ** looked fine. After a year of treatments things continued to look bad. I have nothing left but sand where sod used to be. I contacted a sod company and he said he knew what went wrong. He said TruGreen in the ******** ** area has chemicals designed for ************* grass. The chemicals they used kills Bahai grass. TruGreen stopped helping ** and was rude when we brought this ** later in the year. I could not be more disappointed. ******* residents beware.

      Thank you for your feedback.  A member of the corporate care team coordinated a visit from the local service manager.  We agreed to treat the back yard to see what we can do to help turf recover, and we will re-evaluate in a month.  At that time, we will discuss the possibility of sod with the customer.  ********* care will continue to monitor the account to ensure the issue is resolved.

      I have never dealt with such a screwed up company in my life. I paid for a year in advance and have been completely underwhelmed with the results. I honestly wonder if anyone who works there knows anything about lawn care. None of them took any interest in the condition of the lawn. At least they appeared to actually do all the work, since I was ************* when they came. The year is almost up, and I had a suspicion they might just continue the treatments without my approval, so I checked the app. Sure enough, there were 9 more treatments scheduled. Dealing with their customer service is the next level of ******************************* they offer. It is like speaking to a disinterested child. I thought it was all straightened out, but it was not. The next level of frustration is the management. I spoke to two different people there. They offered me 50% off an upcoming aeration treatment that I never authorized in the first place. Fortunately, they haven't destroyed my lawn as they apparently have with so many other reviewers. It was in bad shape to begin with.

One of our local service mangers contacted the customer.  They discussed the results of the service.  *********** manager agreed to send someone out one day next week to make sure the back yard is completed.  He offered a discounted aeration and seeding to the customer this fall due to the lack of results from last year, but the customer declined. The customer has 2 applications left he has prepaid for.  As requested, we will make sure the account is canceled once those services are completed.

      I should have checked the BBB score before booking this company for a lawn treatment. They assured me their treatment would address the chiggers in our lawn. Not only did the treatment never work, the monthly fee I was offered ended up being a year contract (even though I was told I could cancel anytime) and instead of paying $59 per month for 3 months (as told on the phone) I am being charged $67 per month for a full 12 months. I have called multiple times to address this, and I get a **************** rep that adeptly avoids answering my questions directly, promises someone will look into it within 48 business hours, and then I never hear back.Bottom line - if you give them your credit card number you will be on the hook for hundreds if not thousands of dollars, the treatment will be ineffective if not harmful, and it will waste countless hours of your time and energy trying to deal with it - to no avail.

      Thank you for reaching out to us.  A member of the corporate care team spoke with the customer today.  We apologized for the poor experience they with us.  We discussed their situation with the local service manger and the branch manager, and we agreed to refund the customer for the charges received October 2023 and later.  The refund is currently in process, and can take 5-7 business days to process.
