      I had this company for 30 plus years and this year has been the worst year . There is no way to get in contact with local offices. Your calls are am sent to out of country call centers and they are instructed to do nothing . Have requested a manager and to speak with someone about service and have been trying to get resolution since July . Have had retreatments and still no results and when a call is returned it is left with a number to call back and you go out of the country and it starts all over with no resolution .

      This is my lawn after a over a year of Tru Green weed prevention, fertilization, aeration, and overseeing. I will admit there was a drought this year that turned all the lawns in my neighborhood brown. If you look around the neighborhood you will see that most lawns have recovered unlike my lawn and none that I saw have been completely taken over by weeds like mine. If brown dead grass and a lawn overtaken by various weeds is your goal then I highly recommend Tru Green. I have lived here for ten years and have never seen my lawn look so bad. Wish they allow attach the picture so I can load the pictures of my death lawn

      Thank you for your feedback!  The corporate care team reached out to the customer and apologized for the condition of their lawn.  We worked with the local branch team and arranged for a property visit on Friday, October 7.  We will continue to reach out to the customer to make sure we come up with a plan to improve the condition of the lawn.

      After purchasing a one year trial of the service for a flat fee, we have been fraudulently charged four times, resolved a credit card dispute, and have been sent to collections after trying to cancel our account FOUR TIMES with them.I'm not sure if there's an award for worst lawncare business in the country, but if there is, this company deserves it.

      A member of our ************** Team reached out to this customer.  We apologized the service continued when they were not aware it would.  Our service is continuous unless the customer calls and tells us otherwise.  The individual they spoke with after the first charge should have canceled the service at that time.  We apologized for the headache this has called.  We have reached out to the third party we use for collections and requested they stop collection efforts.  We will be crediting the past due balance.  We ensured the customer that service was stopped and they should receive no further charges to their account.  The customer was satisfied with this resolution.

      This company has now sent debt collectors after us for the past due balance for services which we declined. Which they did not credit per their reply above, and in fact had to be returned to us via a disputed credit-card charge via our own bank.

      First of all, I'm the original complaintents wife. I'm the one who handled most of this with TruGreen. They did NOT contact the collections agency to stop the collections efforts. I confirmed that with them again today when on the phone as I received yet ANOTHER notice of collections. I called TruGreen myself today and the customer representative claims that it needs approval from management. At this point, you'd think they'd have this done considering all the go between from myself, ***** WellsFargo and IC Systems. To top it off, that representative hung up on me and I had to call back. Now they've claimed, again, to give me a refund and actually gave me a cancelation number again. But to be perfectly clear, at this point I am ANYTHING but satisfied with this resolution.

      Just overnight, my mother's lawn is torn up from grubs and animals digging for the grubs. I was just there yesterday and saw no signs of this. Her lawn mowing service noticed this and I went there today and saw the damage that has been done to her turf. This also happened last year and considerable damage was done to her lawn. Tru Green did treat for grubs earlier in the season but this came up suddenly. I called and they can't sent anyone for 2 days to take care of it. I'm concerned that much more damage will be done in those 2 days. They have provided service to her lawn for many years without problems but after 2 years of this grub problem, I may have to look for a new service provider. I'm not at all happy about this!

      Set up service with Tru Green by phone after a web inquiry. The services I requested were for lawn fungus and crab grass. I was also offered aeration and lime, which I turned down because of the price ($450). I told the rep. that we had another contractor perform this service already for 1/5th of the price. I was told that we could cancel the service at any time and the initial cost was $50. I was told the service would start next week. I never received any emails or paperwork. On Saturday a technician arrived to apply lime to our lawn; again this is a service we declined as promised. The service was set up for the front and side of our house only. My husband works from home and noticed the tech putting down the lime in the back yard, though he did not know what he was putting down at the time. Our back yard is dirt due to it being landscaped, so I'm not sure what he was treating (this was even stated on the technicians notes). On Sunday we noticed a charge for $82.36 for a service that we expressly declined. When I called Tru Green and spoke to **** he offered us a 50% discount. I told him we never ordered this service and we were being slammed with it, he said that he would request a refund. Since this is late September and the grass will go dormant soon, TruGreen missed an opportunity to start the service correctly. I cancelled because they lost our trust due to providing the wrong services and overcharging.

      Terrible and misleading company, which was a real surprise to ** since they did such a good job for ** in ****. Stay away from this company in ****************, unless you like signing up for an expensive season that was to include multiple treatments, aeration, over-seeding, and guaranteed service and re-service as needed, and getting very little in return. All we got was a few treatments, then they scheduled to come in August and never showed, and of course no aeration, etc. has happened. And now we have a lawn full of weeds again. So i called to find our what happened to our service and got nothing but the run around. So I cancelled and asked for a confirmation letter, noting our cancellation, along with a refund for the undelivered services. So far, no letter, no refund. Buyer beware of this company's dishonest practices! If I could give them zero or negative stars, I would.UPDATE: I was finally contacted by TruGreen and finally got a refund for the undelivered services.

      Trugreen treated my lawn without my express permission. They told me it was an automatic renewal requiring me to opt out. We discussed it and I agreed to continue and paid for the season which I did. A few months later I noticed a charge from trugreen for services. I reviewed my credit card bills and learned trugreen has been charging me for every service call despite me having paid up front for the season. I called trugreen and they agreed to fix the issue. Their idea of fixing it was to return my initial payment and continue charging me per application resulting in my paying more than agreed upon. I made a few calls to trugreen trying to resolve the situation asking for a supervisor each time. I was promised a return call, more than once, which never happened. There is no way I will continue with trugreen I wonder how many other customers have been double charged

      I received a call from a ********************* after I had requested pricing from TrueGreen online. They had sent me the pricing which was not terribly bad and my wife and I had discussed moving forward with the plan. ***** explained that I had called the corporate office which was wrong and that I must have seen his truck in my neighborhood. I had not. Probably a ploy to sell. He informed me that he had stopped by my house uninvited and wanted to offer me a better deal than what was being offered online. Once again I had told this company that I would contact them when I wanted to move forward. Also who shows up to someones house unannounced during working hours when most husbands are not home? Luckily my wife and I were on a walk. Due to his aggressive nature in trying to sell me I began to slow him down by saying I was in between jobs, whereas he interrupted me to chastise me for calling a luxury service. Mind you I never contacted him just corporate for pricing so we would know if it was a service we wanted to move forward with. Needless to say this guy is an absolute jerk and I am dumbfounded on his arrogance to assume my actual financial situation. If this is a franchise TrueGreen has shown it doesnt care. Seeing the rest of the reviews for this location have only strengthened my argument and shows this guy does not know his business.

      I had contacted their customer service over 5 times regarding been billed for services not rend it while COVID luck out, where they did not come at all and while physically at my house the individuals came and left the company sign without conducting the service. They kept telling me that they will drop the charges and did not. Finally, I decided to end their services altogether and later they kept sending technicians and had to tell them that I was no longer their customer. When they finally stop, they kept billing and now received a letter of a collection company for $96.00. I have laid the bill to the collection company but will start a litigation for fraud and damaged caused to my credit.
