      The dollar General stores in Louisiana is horrible... Workers running around talking with
      customers instead of working.. You have to wait in line forever because the lady is not at her register instead she is standing in the isle cutting up with customers that are shopping, I have had expierences that was horrible. The cashier not handing me all of my bags and me having to drive back to the store when realizing they left my bags at the registar because they was too busy not paying attn

      I cannot continue to shop there because the music is vulgar. The following is from a letter I wrote to the DG headquarters.
      I've always hated the music in these stores, from NY where I live down the Eastern Coast but today I absolutely was livid.

      There is a rant/rave page on social media for the county I live in with approximately 10,000 members. Last August rushing to leave a store I neglected to scan ($17). The store had me arrested/prosecuted even though I immediately offered to pay. Charges were dismissed. (I'm 57, an RN and have never been arrested in my life). This past Friday a customer posted a rant about this store(my screenshots show this employee of Dollar General slamming the company as well). I commented I shopped a 'x' location and have had good experiences. The Dollar General employee of store that pressed the charges against me commented, stating I don't shop at that location because I was caught "stealing" (and had done so repeatedly)and threatened to post video and case number(again, case was dismissed). I took screenshots of entire thread and would like corporate contact me for resolution. Employee committed slander and libel to and potentially impacted my career. I request contact from corporate to resolve please.

      Just a heads up on the new young manager at the Dollar Store next to ****** *******. He discriminates against Americans . But he plays it off when he gets caught up in an argument with consumer's. Over the last 2 months I've been like twice a week. And Every time I hear him complaining about Customer's to his employees or the new owner which put this young hot headed kid in charge as a manager. He actually threaten me but I already knew his temperament so I let it slide. Be safe and cautious around the Dollar General at 5101 Wesley next to ***** *******. This guy could be a religious nut that believes Americans are his personal enemy. Just a heads up. And if you feel disrespected or threaten by this tool.       I provided a locksmith service for this location. And gave a quotes price of 246 for simple a lockout. The district manager assumed it included the price for reinstall the lock as well. Kept saying you never talked about a new price with my store manager. However, the store manager said he didn’t care how muh it was going to cost as long as the building was secured when closing. So yes, the price was talked about. I invested 8 hours of time to get them that part same day. This company originally paid for a lockout. Later they decided they wanted a new lock. Two completely different services. However, the company assumed again it was included. Next time stay closed until Monday because the other two locksmith are closed on the weekends. In conclusion, district manager was rude, tried to take advantage, and unprofessional and worried about getting her bonus for the quarter.

      The manager Tammy at my local store 024248 in Alverda PA is the meanest person in the history of retail. She is rude to customers and evil to her employees. She yells at them and insults them in the floor in front of customers. She doesn't honor store coupons and is a petty dictator in an otherwise all right store. Why does dollar general hire the worst people to be managers.

      Ive noticed brand new DG stores opening literally EVERYWHERE which is great because I've seen them in the middle of nowhere where they are probably needed unfortunately as DG continues to build build build & are hiring some of the rudest & most incompetent individuals I've ever encountered. Problems ranging from very bad customer service skills, cashier's can't count (simple add and subtract) don't have solutions for issues that arise, not following store policy & even if they can see it they don't have to honor it!! It's horrible how they are treating loyal customers & act like we are the problem

      I stopped at Dollar general store in Puxico MO store #06573 to load 400.00 on my *** ***** ******* card the Lady on cash register didn't know how to do it so the manager walked over and swiped one of their scan cards and I swiped my ******* card. Next day I checked my ******* card and no money. The store manager had used a green dot card instead of a vanilla card. I went back to the store and told them the manager Markie M***** what they did she got mad and said no refund! I'm not looking for a refund I just want my 400.00 on my emerald. I always use Dollar general for this. I have the receipt. Please don't let this happen to someone else. Thank you. ******* ********

      The Dollar General located in Warren, PA on Main street is selling vanilla gift cards that are declining at all vendors. The funds are on the card(s) but they decline everywhere including at the Dollar General it was purchased at. Vanilla stole my money they put it on the card but they are declining. They are apparently "holding" the money for protection but are really just taking your money. The Dollar General said to file a compliant and corporate would give us a refund. Please help BBB.       This company hires managers that are absolutely rude beyond belief. The keyholder at the Morgan location threw my bags outside instead of allowing me to get them. She was strung out or nervous but I was absolutely shocked at that and when I told the store manager about it, she did nothing. My last trip there , the key holder did it again as if she had her manager’s blessing. And then Sarah M******* needs to just be let go. She worked at ****** *** ********. She is the absolute worst person accusing every customer there that they are stealing. It is upsetting that corporate does nothing. I had a pickup order that I called to have canceled and the cashier, Esteban marked it as completed and picked up. I contacted the help center and never got a response from them again. So I lost $5/$6. Esteban at Morgan can tell you the behavior of this keyholder.
