      I wish I'd thought of this sooner! This takes a huge burden off my back and my wallet! Thank you so much! I am telling everyone I know to check out your plans and to get it right away. Also, I can breathe easier.

      I made a service call for my AC on June 3rd. Today is July 25th and my AC still has not been fixed. They are saying they can refund my fee for the service call, which will take **** business days once approved by accounting. But can't do anything for the inconvenience of being without AC the past 2 months waiting on them to get my unit fixed. First they contracted with one company which did not even pretend to fix anything. AHS kept saying they had to reach out to the company, to give them a chance to fix the problem, but couldn't reach them. About 15 more calls to AHS and 1 month later, they transferred it to another company. The exact same outcome. AHS lies and says it's been escalated to their Contract Relations. Then the next time you call they say there's no record of the escalation. Happened with both companies. Then they offer to reach back out to the company again. Had no problems with other areas of service in the past, but 2 months without AC and it being ***** degrees in the house every day, those other services mean nothing.

      Terrible company! They give nothing but excuses. No one in their customer ********************** department speaks english. They've lied to us and told us the ac company is responsible for the ac part we need and they said it takes ***** days. The ac company told me ahs orders the part and won't allow them to vet the part themselves, to fix the problem faster. We've had no air for 3 weeks. It took the ac company 3 days to show up. Then order the part. And wait. In the last 10 days, while waiting, ive spoken to multiple local ac companies who have said they have the part in stock. Local ac supply companies even have the part in stock.Ahs refuses to let us buy the part or have another company come out and fix it, without negating our contract. Meanwhile its been *****+ degrees in our house for three weeks. Ive called multiple times and ahs refuses to do what it takes to help us. They just now, on day ***** decided to offer $150 towards an ac window unit or a hotel room.When i call, no one in their customer ********************** **** speaks good english. They dont understand what im saying and they certainly cant understand my frustration. We have 3 young daughters and 2 dogs. This has been h*** During a national heatwave where it's been 100 degrees plus in our area and ahs has done nothing to help us. Why wont they call another company/contractor on their list to see if they have the part? Why wont they reimburse us for getting it done? I could have had this resolved over a week ago but they're holding us 'hostage'. This is bullshit!!

      Terrible company. Ive been a customer for years. I called 3 weeks ago to report an A/C problem, was told it would take 2 weeks before anyone could even come to check on it, I told them that was unacceptable so within 4 days a contractor came and checked the ac, determined a repair was needed and it would take 2 weeks for the part to be available from American Home Shield. Its over that time, Ive made numerous calls, the contractor is waiting on the delivery of the part, says hes getting no response from American Home Shield, Ive also called AHS many times, keep getting the same response, the part should have been delivered and they are checking on it. When I ask to speak to a supervisor Im put on hold forever, never able to speak to **************** or who has any consideration for the customer. As Im writing this review, Ive been on hold for 35 minutes while they check with the parts department for an update. Save your money and dont waste ****************************

      HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! We requested a service call on 7/6 for electrical/**, the electricians came out and informed us that they would not be able to assist us with our ** issue and to call AHS to have them send out an ** company. Called AHS, told them the situation and was informed that we would have to submit another service call (another $125) and that the ** company would contact us within 24 hours. 24 hours came and went, left message for them, no return call and once again was back on the phone with AHS. Low and behold, they were able to get a live body to answer their call. They finally came out on 7/12, understand that weve been without ** for almost a week at that time. Their ** electrician came out and was able to find our issue, stated it was the board that the wires hooked into for our Nest Learning Thermostat. Electrician called his boss because he wasnt sure if it was covered but was willing to put in a base model thermostat. His boss stated that he couldnt approve the purchase and it was up to AHS plus they have never put in a Nest system. Here we go again. Called AHS, told them the situation and was informed that all he had to do was submit the order and it would be sent out. Many calls, online chats, AHS CSRs that are rude and unwilling to help, we still have nothing but run around. 3 weeks WITHOUT ** AND HAD TO PURCHASE A PORTABLE ** UNIT ($427) SO WE COULD SLEEP IN OUR OWN HOME!!!!! Granted we couldve gone to a box store to get a new Nest but that is why we pay for this service plus they wouldnt guarantee wed get a full refund if we bought it ourselves. I will never recommend this company!

      I opened a troubling ticket on the 31st of May, 2022, and three months later my refrigerator is still not fixed, and no resolution from the company after two technicians from two different companies. In addition, I have called AHS twice a week to get an update but they responded to give the another 48 hours every time I called. Moreover, AHS does not provide any direct number to speak to the company manager of the escalation department. They only have a call center that does not have any means of escalating the ticket or speaking to anyone from the AHS corporate supervisor or manager about my broken refrigerator.

      American Home Shield is a joke! I've noticed they improved their website and online presence and communication to make themselves appear to be more organized and reliable than what they really are. I am an existing customer and they have done anything to repair or replace my AC unit since June 1, 2022. You can never reach anyone other than the reps that are very incompetent and poorly trained beyond the basics and sometimes you can't even get that. The supervisors and ********************* doesn't return customer calls. Its like they are running a zoo with no zoo keeper. I mean literally nothing has been done other than a bunch of talk and false promises with my pending service request. I take care of my elderly mom and this is a huge health hazard for the entire family but especially for her. I guess they'll see just how badly they dropped the ball or was it intentional neglect when they get this lawsuit. What's the point of having this kind of insurance if they do nothing and ultimately dodge their responsibilities after collecting their monthly premiums. They never miss a beat with that though. There is no other way to defend them or their inactions at this point, so please do your homework before you enter a contract with American Home Shield. It is a scam! They only post the positive reviews to gain your confidence, then get your money and then **** -- they get ghost! Maybe once Corporate or the Headquarters read this, they may want to give me a call, but it'll probably be too late, as always.

      I have coverage for my Air conditioning unit and after diagnosis they told me we don't cover 3 phase Air conditioning unit.Customer representative called me and said out of packet I need to pay $160 to fix the ** and other representative called said we don't cover. Unprofessional

      Made a claim for a broken AC on the first week of july. They denied me two times then after getting two separate opinions, finally overturned the denial when my realtor got involved. They finally ordered the part, as of lat week, haven't given me any eta and it's the last week of July. It's been in the triple digits here. I have called them multiple times to find out when my AC will be fixed and they can't tell me anything. I've had home warranties before, but never a company this bad.
