Initially when I first purchased the vehicle 7/6/2023 the contract had a different rate and had the Lienholder listed. I was called back in a month later 8/6/2023 to sign a new contract but they did not list the lienholder nor did they forward the new contract to the Lienholder with the new rate. So I am being charged for the old rate when I signed a contract for a new rate and was previously told that the old contract had expired and had been voided. ********** never received the new contract.Business Response

My daughter dropped her car off at the Kia ********** to be diagnosed. My husband drove the car there. They called and said the car was ready but it needed to be towed because they can't get it to crank. We dropped it off it was running,my husband drove that car from frayser . Now they are saying it needs to be towed. I need answers and compensation for what I'm about to spend for what they messed up.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this complaint to my attention. ******************** had her daughter ********************************* 2016 Kia ****** VIN# ***************** brought to Gossett Motor Cars on or about February 15, 2024. The vehicle had ****** miles showing on the odometer at the time the repair order was created. This service visit is the only visit we have on record of this vehicle coming to Gossett Motor Cars. **************** described the concern as the car cutting off and not starting until later in the day then cutting off again. **************** informed our service advisor that the vehicle did have a kill switch installed on it.
As a gesture of goodwill, **************** was not charged for any diagnosis that was completed on her vehicle during this visit. We believe there has been no wrongdoing on the part of Gossett Motor Cars that would warrant compensation. We ask for this complaint to be closed accordingly. They didn't fix the problems that they was paid to fix they tried to my me spend more on the same part that had the car company fix and put a new part on which was a Catalytic converter the company dubbed check the part two times also my car was wreaked while on there premises on the front and back the changed on of the tires after the wreaked and forgot or damaged the hub cap because it's missing they told me that how do I know it happened on there lot and said they are not liable and they stated that I can't do anything about it took me a month to talk with them because *********************** did not return my call until I spoke with his boss secretary she gave me his name which is *************** *************** told me that his boss was going to tell me the same thing and he did the tire they put back on the car didn't match the new set that I have on the car on top of all of that the wreak caused more damage because it more lights are on keep in mind I paid for two complete Diagnosis l requested after the job was completed i pre paid for .that's why *********************** didn't call back from his cell phone once it was time for pickup he had been call all the other times.Business Response

They caused more damage to the engine that made additional light to come on inside the vehicle and caused damage to the outside also the car was had a Diagnostic test done by Adesa of ******* , arbitration department they installed a catalytic converter they also acknowledged they the car had more damage and new light came on after i got them to check the new converter they also took pictures of the car as their protocols call for also ***** told me that it could have gotten hit on their property and said they are not liable and his boss is going to tell me the same and I was wasting my time and his boss said it the exact same way look at the dates on each job I paid for because they had the car so many times to make more and more repairs what they suggested that why I didnt notice earlier I thought they was good people

They told that nothing would be done about this they said I cant prove a thing could someone check the surveillance cameras at the business its costing me more each day all the while theyre making more money every day i pray that GOD help my situation with gossett motors

I purchased a car from Kia ********************** in July of 2023. I was sold the car without a title and didnt know that until I was in a accident and my insurance couldnt pay of the remain balance to my bank without the title which my back (************ ********************** never received from Kia **********************. Now it has been 8 almost 9 months and Kia ********************** has given my bank and I the run around for this title and Im unable to get a car until this is resolved through my bank .Business Response

I took my 2013 Dodge Caravan to Jeep Dodge Chrysler maybe 8-9 months ago because it sounded rough. They told me the first time that they weren**;t sure what it was and said it was possibly the cam shaft but they were not certain. It still made the same noise again. Then I took it back the second time with the same noise problem and took it to get serviced June 2023. They put it on diagnostic and said I had a possible cam shaft and possible lifter problem. I called the warranty department rep and the advisor came and turned the car on and off. He told the advisor that I needed to have the motor broken down because they need to find out the cause. I wondered why they had to tear the car down. Then they said they had no one to fix it. They said that they could not find the sound. After they gave me the cause that it was the possible cam shaft lifter. They tore the engine down again. Then the claim was closed. I told them I will have to get an attorney. Then ******* calls back and said they will put my motor back in my car. I want them to pay me the money I spent to put my car back together.Business Response

On 11/30/23 I sent my daughter to the ********************** to have them diagnose an engine light. I sent her with my credit card to have the repair fixed that day if possible. The technician informed her that they did not have the part and would have to order it and it would take a couple of days so she order the part and called me I informed her to tell them to cancel at that time because I need the car fixed that day and I would take it to summit tires. Waiting on the part to come would mean days without having my car and I needed it for work. She left thinking they canceled it but it went through on my credit card and I called them the same day to cancel and left messages to cancel the part. I also emailed gossett which I will enclose. I also called my credit card company which credited the money back to my account. On 1/30/24 there was a price adjustment on my account for ****** and the business response was that I didnt inform them of wanting to cancel. I have enclosed the emails and not one from the service department ever contacted me. I did take my car to summit tires to have repair done which they did in one day. And I also have the receipt from them. When the part did arrive and someone called I also informed her that I didnt need the part because my car was fixed.Business Response

Approximately 2 weeks ago I had an appointment with Gossett Kia service department to check out a pulling problem in my **** Telluride. The appointment was for either 12:30 or 12:45. I arrived at 12:10. Upon giving my keys to the Black gentleman in service, I was told someone will be right out to check on my problem. Meanwhile I visited an upfront manager because when I purchased this vehicle (my 2nd ********* purchased from this dealership) I informed him of how problematic their service department was. He monitored the situation and found what I stated to be true. Almost 3 hours later I hadnt been seen. Not uncommon at this dealership according to BBB reviews. No sure if the Gossett are aware of these issues.Customer Answer

I took my SUV for and oil change and later on the same day my engine locked. My SUV had no other issues and I was not informed of any issues from the dealer. I contacted them and asked about the issue and they said it was not an issue related to them.Business Response

I originally took my car in early 2023 for a repair of my AC since it was blowing out hot air. I paid $1000 and the problem did not get fixed. I called ********************* mgr at ******************** and he said bring the car in to get it checked again. I also asked him hesitantly if they could change my oil. He said ok. I hesitated because every single time they change my oil they leave the screws loose and I leak oil. Well I took the car for them to check my A/C and change my oil. Immediately I noticed an oil leak as usual after them changing the oil. I park under a garage so there was no oil leak before the oil change because I had taken my car back the time before and they tightened the bolts. So this leak was right after my last oil change. I called multiple times to get in for them to check but there was no answer and then when I finally got someone they said Mt Moriah was booked up for 2 months. I then waited a few days and called to see if I could get in with *************************** **** They message me an appt but when I went to the appt they said they couldn't help. My car was damaged on purpose when they changed my oil and now I have an oil leak worse than I ever had before. I need someone with a good heart and honest to look at my car and repair the problem. I do not wish to go to the MT Moriah location because when I called the Mgr about my A/C he noticed that I contacted BBB because they never fixed my A/C and I think they purposely sabotaged my vehicle because now I have a horrible oil leak and they STILL NEVER fixed my A/C. I am rejecting this response because:It was brought to my attention at my appt (to find out the source of the oil leak) today that the leak is coming from the Turbo from my car. I have previously gone in after oil changes from *** and questioned why my car was leaking oil after the oil change. Never once did they look and tell me the true source of the problem. Today ************* showed me the leak from the turbo and it is apparent that is where the leak has been coming from for years because there was so much caked up oil. If they would have diagnosed the leak that I questioned 5 years ago the problem would have been fixed. I appreciate the assistance that ***** and ******* provided me today but I would have really loved that assistance 5 or 6 years ago and not have to contact the BBB for help. I would like my car repaired.
