      Tried to book our wedding at the chapel in the woods. Prices advertised on their web page are double what was on the price list the wedding planner emailed me. When I questioned her about it I was told that their page hasnt been updated yet.....that's false advertisment!! Also all the ammenties promised were now only available for an extra charge. Attitude was not professional and I dont expect they would get it right anyway so we bailed on them before they got any of our money. Whole thing seemed fishy with the prices doubling from what was advertised. Dont reccommend it! Be ware.

      I am trying to get a response from Chapel in the Woods to report poor wedding planning and lack of professionalism. The initial payment of $350.00 was made the 17th of July 2022. The second payment was scheduled for October 15th 2022. There was a staff change with the wedding coordinator and I was not notified. And the "new" wedding coordinator had no idea how to respond or open DocuSign to see my current status on payment and receipts. After trying to make my second payment with weeks of no resolution as to something as simple as accepting funds. On November 7th, due to no follow up emails, unanswered emails, and phone calls. I decided to pull from the venue Chapel in the Woods due to lack of communication.(Only payment $350.) I was trying to make my second payment and there was little to no communication. With a change of wedding coordinators with the lack of knowledge and could not accomplish simple tasks such as accepting payment. The excuse I would receive would be due to "too many emails". The only way I could get a response would be via phone and even then the problem wouldn't be resolved with no guarantee of a solution. If payment took a month and still with no solution, I could not imagine the outcome with this location hosting my actual wedding ceremony. This seems like a scam and truthfully they should no longer host or commercialize wedding events until they get their s*** together. Its GRACELAND! Shouldn't there be more class that beams from this location? No one will answer my phone calls and apparently the managers don't deem this problem a high priority. I want a full Refund ($350) and a response from someone other than the current wedding coordinator *************************. I understand this is not his area of expertise "Senior Campus Director of Sales and Catering." And was a replacement for the recent coordinator. However a sense of professionalism and sense of urgency would have been appreciated.
