I took my car into this business on 8/22 to have a water pump replaced on my car. The job was completed on 8/24. When I received my car back the air was no longer working the car is shaking really bad and misfiring. I took the car back the next day and they were unable to fix the issue. I took the car to another firestone to see if they were able to determine what happened to the car. They were unable to determine what happened and now the car is no longer running it will not stay crunk. I filed a complaint for a refund with the main office over a week ago. I have gotten nothing but the run around the area manager was supposed to contact me 48hrs after I made the complaint here it us 2 weeks later I am still without a car and no call back from the regional manager. I have been talking to the store manager **** who is not following through with anything on my complaint for a full refund. The company has placed me on the back burner after I have spent over $**** in repairs they have put other customer needs before mine all why inconviencing me. I have missed time from work due to no ride as well as paying for rides to get around. I went in gor a service and solution and left cheated with no car and no way to get the car repaired. On top of that the head office is doing nothing to resolve the situation immediately.

On 09/09/22 I took my *** ***** for new brakes. I was told I needed rotors and brakes due to noise on the front brakes. I went ahead and got the service on my car. However, the brakes continue to make noises, and there is a burning smell to them. On 09/18/22 on my way to work on U.S. 1, going down the bridge my brakes ceased (pedal did not go down) and the car skidded to the right. I had to use the emergency brake to ensure the vehicle would stop and I almost got into an accident. On 09/19/22 I returned to the shop and spoke to **************. I explained the issues, and he tested the vehicle. The brakes continue to make a grinding noise to which he stated "it is normal." I explained that a noise on the brakes is not normal, and that I almost got into an accident. They want me to pay $****** on work that is negligible and I stated that my vehicle is still unsafe to drive. This company does not want to assist me with fixing the issues on the vehicle and are not willing to work with me on resolving the problem my vehicle still has but want me to pay for work that is negligent and incomplete at this time. This is not fair to a consumer. I do not trust this company and do not want to continue working with them. I will take my vehicle to another establishment that will rectify the matter without causing any casualties.

I had my 1 wheel bearing replaced on 09/08th. I was told a price over the phone after they looked at my car and when I picked it up the price had increased to $708.73. The car is still making noises and when I took it back they said every thing they did is fine and I now need 4 new tires due to cupping. I have fairly new tires on my car. The company is trying to scam me out of more money., invoice # ******.

On June 22, I brought my car in for brake pad replacement. Then, during inspection or diagnosis they recommend getting the rotors and caliper replaced because it was damaged. I agreed to it. But before I could leave the shop, ***, the manager told me that turning off the Emergency parking brake was necessary and the caliper was back ordered. *** said they put temporary brake pads just so I can drive the car. I paid $520.97 for that visit. Then, on August 9, I called them because I haven't heard anything for over a month about the back ordered part. The person I spoke to said *** wasn't there that day and couldn't take care of me so I called back on August 11 and spoke with *** and he said that the parts was ordered (they didn't call me, no communication) and should be in the following week. I went back on Tuesday August 16 so they can finish the repairs and install the caliper. I paid $220.69 this time. When the job was completed they advised me to take my car to ***** for some wiring issue. When I left the premises, I noticed my car was dragging so I thought maybe because the caliper is new and so is the brake pad. Then I started noticing that when I release my EPB the car would get stuck and won't move. When it move, I couldn't put it on park mode because then it would get stuck. Then I made an appointment with ***** and when I was driving I noticed that my brake stopped working and it wasn't grabbing anything. I was scared and I was sweating because it was early in the morning on the freeway. I could see my exhaust smoking. My foot was on my brake the whole time. Luckily, I was going uphill so the car slowed down a bit as I kept pressing on the brakes. I got to *****, safely, thank goodness. I told them what happened and they ran their diagnosis and found out that Firestone did not do my brakes correctly. I spent $******* to replace everything. I asked firestone to pay for all but they refused. *** said he cannot do both claims. Just one. Please help.

Today 09/11/2022 around 11am I left my vehicle for an alignment, I have a 2011 *****, not brand new but had paint on great conditions, after my service was done I noticed that my rear bumper was hit on the left side and this wasn't there previously, the workers tried to clean it up but the scratches are so deep that there's no paint left.I just bought the vehicle and all I wanted was a nice looking ride and well functioning... I'm so disappointed with this place, they ruined my vehicle.

On 7/24 had AC unit repaired for 2010 Nissan ****** at Firestone located in Longview, TX. I went with the FS recommendation for repairs with included
      AIR CONDITIONING SEAL REPAIR KIT
      ($699.99) NEW COMPRESSOR WITH KIT
      ($67.00) R & R SERVICE PORTS
      ($134.00) REMOVE & REPLACE A/C COMPRESSOR
      ($160.80) REMOVE & REPLACE CONDENSER
($174.20) REMOVE & REPLACE EVAPORATOR EXPANSION VALVE
      ($82.99) AC SYSTEM FLUSH LABOR
      ($101.99) SERP BELT-POLY RIB
for a grand total of 1882.84. The AC unit worked for a couple of weeks and then started to blow hot air only. I then took the vehicle to the Firestone store #5282 in Marietta,Ga where they tried to diagnose the issue and thought the issue was resolved. The AC initially blew cool air but began to blow hot air again before I left the parking lot. I informed the manager and a technician tried to quick fix the issue by "zip tying" a bad connection I was told. The AC started back blowing cold so I left, a couple of days later the issue resumed. I contacted FS where the previous work was done and proceeded to make an appointment for the next day or so. I dropped off my vehicle 8/12 and dropped my keys with info in the drop box. Two days passed w/o hearing from the location so I called only to find out that no-one had checked the drop box and the keys were still located inside the dropbox. After the vehicle was checked in, I was contacted by someone from FS indicated that they didn't have a master technician so they wouldn't be able to service the vehicle that they just serviced a few days prior. They informed me of another location #12971 located on Powder Springs Road Marietta, Ga. I contacted this location only to be informed that they didn't have the "machine" to diagnose AC issues. I was directed to another FS #25356 located on 2075 Roswell Rd, Marietta, Ga. Once the vehicle was at this location, the issue was identified however they didn't have technician to complete entire job. Left car a mess.

On July 6 2022 my 2013******* ******** was brough into a Virginia Beach Firestone for an engine inspection and to get the work done on the engine and various other parts of the car. This totaled $5605.34 which included full engine inspection, new spark plugs, oil change, and many other replacements. They warned me at the time that when they went to check my oil that it was not showing up on the dip-stick but said just not to whoever had previously changed my oil. There are no more notes on oil in the service history reports. I did not use my car for a few weeks until I needed to move to Blacksburg, VA.
On August 7, 2022 while driving from Fayetteville, NC to Blacksburg, VA my car began to make a noise and when I pulled off the highway the engine died. I had to get my car towed from Hillsville, VA to Blacksburg and decided to send it to the local Firestone because the VB location had done the previous work on it. They were unable to do an engine inspection at that location, but they did contact the VB location that filed a claim through the Bridgestone Claims department. I was contacted by someone named **** (not sure of last name) who told me they would send out a 3rd party inspector. After about two weeks, **** called me to tell me that the 3rd party inspector had decided that whatever was wrong with the engine was not Firestone's fault because they had warned me. However, **** was not able to tell me what was wrong with the engine or when I had been made aware of the issue. It has now been two weeks and I cannot reach **** or his department manager to get any more information, paperwork, proof of inspection, or assistance on the issue. We have no record of any warnings that we were given about the engine or oil issues. I have been stuck with out a car or any information for weeks. Most of the parts replaced work fine, but Firestone should have made me aware of whatever caused my engine to fail.

The have extremely long wait times at this location. For what should have been a simple warranty road-hazard tire repair, my wife had to wait 4 hours before they would even look at the tire. They charged $26.01 in parts and labor which I get and am not complaining about, though I had taken the same car in about 3 months previous when they changed the lug nuts because of "swelling" and this time they charged $9.99 to change the lug nuts again.

My main complaint is that they charged $12.89 for sales tax; Sales tax in the area (an listed on the receipt) is 8.417%) -- this should have been $2.19. They overcharged on sales tax by $10.70.
