On may 1st 2021 I was in Firestone on east market street Harrisonburg va to get a tire fix that they said had a warranty then the guy proceeded to take my car to get the tire fix then wreck it the damages to my car didn't add up to what they said happen they said it was back into a door opener and blame my car transmission was at fault but I had a mechanic-look at everything the week before so I know it wasn't that and the guy was driving way to fast in the Frist place then the tires I got where the wrong size suppose to be 215/70 r 15 but the mechanic I went to for inspection said they are the wrong size cause the tires I got from Firestone only lasted 23 k miles because of the size issue I had to put a spare tire I had on cause the tire was so far gone and that's when they found the tire was smaller then the one I had which is a 215/70 r 15 to replace the worn tire they got my car fix after the wreck but I let the pictures show of how cheap they did it and upswing wrong parts to get it done I had no say in the parts they made it cheap and quick as possible the tires where close to 500 dollars and didn't even last a yearInitial Complaint

8/14 went in for an oil change & inspection. Appt was 9a.m. **** proceeds to tell me that my axels are broken and it's a safety hazard. I agree to have them replaced. The parts needed nor the expertise was available to do this. I found this out around 1p.m. They had to call their master tech in and **** also asked me if I would take his car to go pickup the parts they never had to fix my car. I said no. I leaved 8/14 around 4p.m. On my drive home my skid plate was dragging the ground. I go back up to the 3105 Airport Blvd Mobile, AL location on 8/15 to get them to secure it. Later that day I get on the interstate. I cannot drive my car over 40mph from it uncontrollably shaking. I call Firestone 5 or 6 times, no one answers. I take my car back up there on 8/16. The master tech and manger ****** tells me I need new tires to fix the shaking. So in the past three days I have now been charged $*****. 8/18 I take my car on my lunch break to run errands, when I take a right turn the car completely stops working. I have it towed to ***** (where I bought the car) because I do not trust that Firestone can fix or knows what their doing. The tower even agreed. The manager at ***** proceeds to quote me $**** to fix what Firestone did wrong. Not paying that so ****** at Firestone files a corporate complaint. I call corporate everyday- they can verify everything in my case file which is ************-I. I rented a car on 8/21 from ****. 8/25 ********* (***** manager) calls to get an update on when the inspector is coming out. I finally get the inspectors contact information from firestone corporate. His name is **** and I have called him everyday to and left voicemails. I eventually get his supervisors contact- ************ and I proceed to call her and leave voicemails. I have more information to provide, and details. I have noted every interaction, names, timestamps that I can provide. I would love to submit all of it. Began 8.5.22. Current Issue as of 8.24.22.Paid $****Committed to fixing my AC by replacing the compressor which they stated was the problem. The new compressor was malfunctioned. Told my spouse (mechanic) that new compressors dont have to be flushed (they do), so they didnt. Spread metal debris into the condensor causing a new issue, they are now charging another $300 for. Another mechanic stated that they are to replace both components to prevent this error. Have not heard from this Firestone unless we initiate a phone call. Theyve held my car hostage for 3 weeks. They tried to resolve the problem by inputting a new compressor, then blamed the problem on a blockage in the condensor, but did not detect any blocks or leaks when the vehicle was brought in the 1st time, or to replace the faulty compressor the 2nd time. Theyve been oushing off fixing the error. Was supposed to receive my car yesterday, and once again was told that the mechanic didnt have time, yet the manager assured us my car was the only car to be worked on, and replacing a condensor takes no more than 2 hours. Ive been upcharged over $200 for a condensor. When asked what if the condensor doesnt fix the issue (remember the initial issue was the compressor no longer working after only 4years), I didnt receive an answer. the manager, **********, has been ducking and avoiding my knowledgeable spouse. I was charged in that $**** for a leak test that apprently hadnt been done, for an AC check that hadnt been done, for a flushing that wasnt done bc they said they didnt have to (then why charge'), replaced parts that pushed metal debris into my condensor that Im now bring charged and extra $300 for at no fault to me.Three weeks later I still do not have my car back with excuses daily. There was no blockages until they replaced their non-working compressor, and bc they replaced without flushing the lines, they moved debris to cause damage, while my car was in their care.Initial Complaint

Had a flat tire so I called Firestone to see how much the replacement would be since I had also purchased the road hazard warranty. I had to get a quote first because I have very little money. I called the store and the person I spoke to told me that he couldnt give me a quote because he had to "check the mileage on the car and the tread depth". I told him again that my tire was flat and that he was basically asking me to get my car towed to Firestone to then wait to be handed a bill for an unknown amount. He became angry and told me there was nothing he could do but that the cheapest tire would probably be $80, plus labor, and would not match my other tires. I asked him how that made sense because the tire looks basically brand new, and was less than $160 brand new I believe....so what am i paying almost that same amount for a mismatched tire that is not as good as what I bought originally. The person at the store at this time hung up on me. I called corporate and told them that I did not want the store to call me because they had their chance to fix it and they messed up. I was told specifically that they had made a note saying the store was not to call me (this occured on 2.28.2022 approx 2pm eastern.) The next day at 8 am, a full hour before normal business hours, my phone rings and its the store who left me a voicemail. I called corporate again asking why the store had called me because there was supposed to be a note telling them not to, the agent I spoke with advised me that the first agent had not properly noted for the store to not call you. I advised the second agent that I would be filing a *** complaint if i did not hear from someone outside of the store. I have been a customer for years but I refuse to do business with people who clearly do not care about the safety of others.Initial Complaint

I brought in my 2018 Lincoln *** for 2 tires to be replaced, on 7/27. Upon completion, my 2 front where were badly damaged. Th. He called me baxey were scraped, had abrasions, scratches and black marks , on both front wheels. The manager was not on duty. I went back, the next day and the manager said the damage was "old". I did get an employee initial my bill as "damaged rims." on 7/27. Without cooperation from the store manager, I contacted the corporate office. I received a response from ************, senior claim specialist. I answered his questionnaire. Within 10 days he called back. He said to get an estimate for the repair so we can wrap up the claim. I sent him the estimates. I have not heard back in 3 weeks. I have called 15 times, to no avail. This is very unprofessional. The damage has been assessed by a repair shop as damage caused by the installer.Initial Complaint

Well they broke policy and protocol by plugging a tire that was deemed unusable and never fixed tire in rear that has a 100 percent replacement warranty on them. Then lied about price. Risked my family by putting us on highway with the risk imposed.Initial Complaint

On 8/9/22 I went to Firestone with a flat tire. They replaced all 4 of my tires, even though I only wanted 2 (rear tires since thats where the flat was). I let it go because I figured I probably needed new tires anyway, and I was too stressed to argue. They told me "You really need new brakes, like..really really soon" and stressed this to me multiple times. I couldn't afford it at the time so I made an appointment for 8/20/22. At that appointment multiple things happened that gave me a bad feeling (rude customer service, cancelling and rescheduling, not having the appropriate parts to fix the car even though I had an appointment and they knew the kind of car I drove and what services I wanted etc.). I listened to my gut and took my car back instead of leaving it overnight to be "fixed". On 8/27/22 I took my car to a ****** service center where they said "I am so glad you came in because you don't need brakes at all. Your front brakes are like new and your rear brakes have at least 10,000 more miles on them". I was shocked and so grateful for ****** but furious at Firestone. I felt like as a young woman, they tried to take advantage of me. Now, in hindsight, I am sure that is how I ended up with 4 new tires as well. They saw a young woman and assumed they could scam extra money from me. I just don't want this to happen to someone else, especially because Firestone is a reputable place and is in a location near ***************** and ************** where I am sure many young women go given the convenience of it's location.Initial Complaint

I bought 2 Firestone Weather-grip *********** 65,00 mile warranty they lasted 2 1/2 month worn out they know the front end was all replace it even said so on my paper work they did the alignment on my car the day they put the new tire on . 2 1/2 month they are worn out they would not replace my tire OR refund my MONEY . CALL MY DISCOVER CARD I drive TRUCK FOR A LIVING, YOU CAN not wear out a set of tire in 2 1/2 month so I WANT MY MONEY BACK. LIKE I SAID I HAVE ALL THE PAPER WORK. the worst unprofessional service; ever received. They try to ripe you off cause you a woman and lie about what have been done to your car. I do not ever leave your car for repair; they wont touch it. I was told that the car will be return on Saturday after not having the car for three; only to find that nothing was done the three day it was left there. They also charged $200 extra more than the dealership for the same repair. They told me the car was could not be drive; so I called a tow truck, that was not true. Expensive with the amount of problems it caused just being a woman walking into Firestone Complete Auto Repair *****************************************. I took my vehicle to Firestone to have the air conditioning unit serviced. The customer service person said my vehicle estimate for repairs were exceeding $2000. I advised them that I only need the air conditioning serviced. The total was $274. They advised me to return in one week to review the system. Before the week was over, my air conditioning unit was not working properly. I arrange the week review appointment and was told there was a leak in the hose in the system and it would be $789 to get the parts from the dealership and repair it today. I advised them the vehicle was still under warranty and i could get it fixed at no charge. I asked if the mechanic to charge the air conditioning system again until i could get to repair shop. The service manager stated it would be another $274. This is an outrage. I want a refund because they did not fix it the first visit and inconvenienced me to be without air conditioning in 88 degree weather and waisted my time to come back only to tell me they needed to order parts and it was not fixed.
