When I brought my car to this Fire Stone to have my brakes worked on, they provided subpar service and then was charged a higher price compared to other places I've been to.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at this Firestone location compels me to do so. I brought my car in to check the tires because one of the new tires (installed elsewhere) was making a slight hissing sound. They told me that the valve and sensor, which are a single unit, needed to be replaced, and quoted me $110 for the job, which seemed reasonable.
However, when I went to pick up the car, the bill had jumped to $270, as they claimed it was "industry standard" to charge labor for replacing four sensors. I paid the requested amount, however, the next day, the TPMS light came on, which hadn’t been an issue before. I returned, and they told me another sensor needed replacement, which made no sense, as I’d had no prior issues. Reluctantly, I paid another $110, but the TPMS light was still on.
When I took the car back yet again, they couldn’t figure out the problem and suggested it might be the PCM, which would cost several hundred more dollars. Frustrated, I decided to take it to the dealership, where they confirmed my suspicion: the sensors hadn’t been programmed correctly.
In the end, I feel I was overcharged by a couple of hundred dollars for a job that could have cost me under $50 elsewhere. My family and I will never return to this Firestone, and I’m canceling their credit card.

I took my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder to the Firestone on Central Ave in Orange, NJ, for an oil change. I told the attendant that I’d be driving from New Jersey to Houston, TX, the next day, and asked them to check my vehicle to ensure it was safe for the long trip. My car was relatively new at the time, with only 9,000 miles on it. The attendant informed me that the driver’s side wheel was locked and recommended repairs, an alignment, and new brake pads, all totaling around $1,600 before a discount if I apply for a Firestone Credit Card which I applied for. I felt suspicious right away, but since I didn’t have time to get a second opinion and trusted Firestone, I agreed to the repairs. I’m not a mechanic, but I’ve owned Twelve cars over the years, and I've always had some warning sign before major issues. My car is also equipped with sensors that alert me to issues as minor as low air pressure. Upon reaching Houston, I visited the Firestone on Murphy Rd for another oil change, where I was informed of an oil leak. This was unexpected as my car is always parked in a garage and there had been no oil on the ground. The attendant claimed it was an internal engine leak, prompting me to take my car to the Nissan dealership, where they found no oil leak. I filed a complaint with Firestone’s corporate office, but nothing came of it. Firestone is taking advantage of people, and I recommend always getting a second opinion before agreeing to major repairs!

      l. I’m writing to bring to your attention a distressing incident that occurred during my recent visit to the Firestone location at 15th and Western on 11/6/24.
I approached the staff regarding my low tire pressure, I was met with an unsettling response from one of your employees. Instead of receiving the assistance I expected, I was told that I would need to provide a cash “tip” for a service that should have been provided as part of your employee’s regular duties. This behavior not only felt inappropriate but also left me feeling disrespected as a long-time customer.
I attempted to address the issue with Jacob, who appeared to dismiss my concerns and even questioned my account of the events, stating that he had never heard of such a request for tips within your establishment. I also found it concerning that he suggested pulling up my personal account information without giving a clear reason for it.
Given the nature of this experience and the lack of professionalism displayed, I would like to express that I will no longer be using your services and will explore other options going forward.
I believe it is important for your management team to be aware of such incidents, as they can significantly impact customer trust and loyalty. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns, and I hope this can lead to positive changes in your service approach.

0 stars 3501 S Fox St, Englewood, CO Firestone & Kenneth R*****. 5 stars 6783 W Canyon Ave, Littleton, CO Firestone. I wanted to buy a truck from ******** **** *******. Wanted it checked out but could not get it in quickly to my Firestone on W Canyon. ******** suggested taking it to S Fox St Firestone. I agreed. I called them to ask for the top inspection. I was called back advising the truck had newer parts but some rust. I asked if the rust was bad enough for me NOT to buy the truck. They said no. A few weeks later, Check Suspension System/Check Engine Light came on. I took it to ****** **** ****. They found codes that were related to engine pressure, left front position sensor invalid, found 2 connectors hanging that might go to missing component under driver-side door, & left rear suspension leveling sensor had broken off the bracket due to rust & was just hanging. After finding these, they advised they could not work on the truck any further because the rear gas tank strap was missing, & a new strap could not be attached because of all the frame rust & part of the frame was missing. They indicated this was dangerous & that the fuel tank was held in place by the fuel filler neck (And * *** DID NOT SEE THAT?). Also, the suspension level sensor could not be repaired due to the mount being rusted off & unable to be replaced. ******** took it to their shop to see if the gas tank strap could be fixed. It was fixed. Then I got a Check Brake System alert. I took it to my S Canyon Firestone. I found out the rear gas tank strap was fixed with a rachet strap and it was already fraying. REALLY? Also, the brake line was so rusted it began to leak - would require cutting out/welding new line. They said they would never have advised to buy this truck. I submitted on-line complaint for Firestone for the S Fox location & got email back from Kenneth advising that rust is subjective, that they did not see a problem and therefore I was out of luck, basically. DON'T USE THEM!!!!

I reached out to firestone in 490 haledon nj and the service there is exceptionally bad. I waited a total of 6+hours just to have them look at the brakes to determine what was wrong as I bought both brake and rotors from them and put 10k miles on my vehicle, and that is with a 12pm appointment. At 6.20pm my car was finally lifted and it turned out to be cheap break pads that they had installed causing my very loud noise issue. I am furious as I had explicitly asked repeatedly to ensure good quality pads are being installed for the $1100 price tag for brakes/rotors which they assured me would be installed. Now I'm back there to wait hours just to get the news that they don't have pads in stock and would have to order them. On top of that they said labor cost is around $400. Madness... Imagine my frustration. The guy said he ordered them and come back tomorrow to have them installed. Now I called them back the next day only to hear the pads havnt been ordered and they'll place the order today. Is this hiw firestone does business? I am 1000% disappointed and angry. My issue still havnt been resolved and I'm feel like posting this on every social media + review site possible. Totally unacceptable. Will keep posted on how this turns out. But their attitude there is very insulting to say the least. If you don't ask how your car is doing, they won't tell you what's the progress they made, if any.

Tiresplus ia a joke! I took my car for brake service and had to return 4 times without having all the issues solved. After writing a review on ******, customer service reached out and it follows the pattern of extremely poor service. My case was supposedly escalated and the regional manager was going to contact me in 2 days… guess what? That never happened.
      Stay away from this business!

I took my car to the Firestone store at 16711 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX, for an alignment at 11 a.m. today. My wife picked me up, and we were gone for about five minutes, just down the street to a nearby ********** drive-through, before heading back to Firestone. Surprisingly, when we returned, the mechanic had already finished the alignment. This seemed a bit quick, so I took the car to ******** for a second opinion. They told me the front and rear toe, as well as the rear camber, needed adjustment.
I brought the car back to Firestone and asked them to recheck it. When they did, their machine showed that the alignment was within specs, but the numbers for the front and rear toe were different from the ones on my first visit. Now I feel like I have to get a third opinion just to be sure.
On top of that, when I asked the Firestone customer service representative if the mechanic could bring my keys inside after the alignment, she responded with, "Well, he sure doesn't plan to keep them!"—a comment that seemed unnecessarily rude. This whole experience has been frustrating, and I feel the customer service and professionalism could have been much better.
