The case (#*******) occurred on June 1, 2023 and involves damage to my 2023 **** Q5 caused by a "young kid" working at the Michel Tires Plus located in Elizabethtown, KY. I was told by the Service Manager, David W., the "young kid" working that day damaged the wheel while attempting to mount it on the tire machine.
The Store Manager is Jordan M.
Additionally, Daniel M. was copied on an email from Jordan. Daniel M. provided Case Number *******.
Neither Jordan M. or Daniel M. are returning my emails. It definitely feels like I've been ghosted.
My next steps are to escalate my issue to senior management and the board of directors with the hope that someone will take action on behalf of my issue.

These ******* bums closed their store 36+ hours before hurricane Helene was even supposed to hit Tallahassee without telling me. So my car was parked there on the side of the road, and I had to pay a locksmith $500 to make new keys for my car so I could leave town. I will be suing this Firestone location unless they reimburse me.

Firestone location 1305 W Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382
My wife took my car in for inspection, a pretty straightforward thing. They told her they could not pass the inspection, that it needed outer tie rod ends and a brake backing plate for the rear brakes. Tried to show her the front wheel moving (it didn't) when they pulled on it. Claimed in writing that the tie rods wouldn't take grease. Gave her a report requiring those items to be fixed to pass inspection and recommending $6000 in other work. The tie rod ends had been replaced by Firestone only 30000 miles before... I took the car to another mechanic shop. Basically, the report was that there was not an inspection problem with the car. The brake backing plate was not an issue. Said they never touched grease to the tie rod ends (they greased fine). The tires they recommended to be replaced were fine. The list of recommended stuff is longer, but you get the point. I've used Firestone shops for 30 years, but this is the second time this happened at this location, but much worse this time. And they treated my wife like she was an idiot because she's a woman. I 100% won't return to this location and would be very hesitant to visit other Firestone locations. It's one star because you can't go lower.

I went to get my vehicle fixed and instead of the store manager figuring out the issue he lies to my warranty company causing them not to cover the repairs which had me fix the vehicle out of my own pocket. I called corporate to log a complaint and no one called me back.

I took my car to Firestone at 3105 Airport Blvd in Mobile Alabama for air in my tires. The tech said the tire needed to be replaced. After replacing the tire they lifted my hood to check for other issues but he pulled down hood but failed to lock it. When I left to go home, while driving on the highway the hood flew up, smashed my entire windshield, the hood ornament smashed my moonroof, the hood ha a crease in it & there is glass everywhere in the car. When I took it to Firestone, there was no damage to the body & there was no mechanical issues. Firestone refuses to repair my vehicle becasue it is old. I took a perfect car to them & now I have a damaged vehicle I can't drive due to their negligence. I have incurred auto rental charges, storage fees, cab fares. They offered to send me $2988 to pay for rentals but the repair costs are $6542, rental costs are $1250, storage fees are $1850. That offer is unacceptable.

I called the local Firestone at 520 Folly Rd. Charleston, SC and requested an appointment to replace the defective tire, fix the spare and replace the brake pads on my daughters SUV. My appointment was scheduled on Monday September 16, 2024 at 12:00 pm. I planned to meet my daughter at the Firestone store Monday and I arrived first. I started to check in and the Firestone rep informed me that I did not have an appointment. I showed him the appointment notice that I had received from Firestone and he informed me that their system was “broken” because when you call their local store number for an appointment you will be forwarded to an online scheduling group who are clueless to how many openings that they really have. I immediately asked to see a manager since and she told me if we would leave the SUV a few days that they would attempt to fit it into their schedule. My daughter arrived at the store and complained that the tire was “wobbly” when driving to Firestone. We left the SUV and Friday received a call informing us that the SUV was ready and although the brakes needed to be replaced they could wait until we made another appointment to do so. It was noted on my invoice that I declined the brake job which is not the truth! We left Firestone, and my daughter complained that the new tire wobbled on the way home. We immediately took the SUV to another shop, the new wheel/tire was removed and the mechanic noted that the wheel was full of dried mud obviously from my daughter’s dirt road that she lives on. The mechanic removed the mud from the wheel as well as the extra balance weights that the firestone tech used in order to attempt to balance the tire. I guess when the firestone tech replaced the tire he added too many balance weights in order to offset the mud. My warning to all, be careful when scheduling an appointment at this firestone, even their employees will tell you the system is broken!

Firestone located on MacDill AFB failed diagnose my issue properly. Now my issue was amplified when it could have been prevented. This caused even further financial loss for me.

BEWARE!!!! There are multiple employees at the 1551 Florida Mall location that have NO LICENSE because it is SUSPENDED!! Why is this being allowed when the employee has to test drive MY vehicle after service is complete before returning the key. If they get into an accident who will be paying for the damages?? If the employees were not speaking so loud, I would not have overheard their conversation about the status of their license.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS STORE!!
I took my car to the Firestone at 1970 Sam Rittenberg Blvd for an oil change. After I left my car there, I got a call from, Tony, the service manager at Firestone, saying my brakes were “metal on metal”. I had just had my brakes checked 2 weeks prior to this at another kind of store and was told they were fine. Being confused, I picked up my car and took it back to the first place. They removed all 4 tires and using a measuring instrument, showed my husband and I that my brakes were in fact fine. When I went back to Firestone to discuss the incorrect statement about my brakes, the mechanic said, “ Oh, I didn’t remove the tires to check the brakes.” How do you check brakes without removing the tires?
My family and I have had several experiences like this at this store, but thought we could at least trust them for an oil change. We will not be going back for anything ever again. They are scam artists!

The Firestone located at 180 N 3rd St, Columbus, OH 43215 were supposed to replace my Wheel Bearings. Instead they did much more damage but offered to tow it to the ***** dealership and cover any damages they’ve done. Firestone did tow my vehicle (I never drove it off their lot) to the ***** dealership and assured me the diagnostic would be covered and any damages they did to my vehicle. Before ***** worked on my vehicle they acknowledged me that Paul from Firestone said they won’t be covering any cost which left me in confusion. When I called Firestone Paul answered and explained to me that since I contacted corporate it’s out of his hands and a claim is now being filed. I never requested a claim but did agree to our previous agreement which was to cover any damages that Firestone caused. My vehicle is in Firestones possession and I explained that to Paul. He responded, “If you want your vehicle so bad you can go to the ***** dealership and pick it up yourself.” I just want to say when I brought my vehicle to Firestone it was in way better condition than how they tried to give it back to me. The reason why they towed it to ***** was to figure out what Firestone did wrong. Now Paul is telling me that an investigator has been assigned and they will determine if Firestone was at fault but isn’t that why we agreed to tow it to *****?
