1 starI took my car, ***** XC-90 2019, to Firestone Irving to check some loud noises that the car made. After they fixed it, my car started leaking oil. Then I took my car to car dealer because I didn't trust Firestone anymore and figured out what Firestone mechanics did. They used a part that did not fit my car and as a result the oil cap did not fit. They knew the oil cap did not fit after the repair because we also had the oil changed during that visit. Despite them knowing the oil cap did not fit, they did not tell us about that. And so oil leaked all over the engine, causing approximately $1000 worth of damage. We also had to take the Volvo to the dealer to get the original part replaced.Review fromPaul W

1 starBridgestone has a company called Resolv. It's an auto maintenance plan. I would totally discourage people from purchasing such plan and even discourage use of Firestone/Bridgestone all together since they are trying to get me to pay them close to $500 for something they have not fulfilled their promise on.
I will never go back to any Firestone if it was the last auto service place on earth!Review fromWilliam B

1 starAbsolute con artist! They were going to charge me $60 for an inspection and luckily my car failed, therefore, and fortunately, I didn’t get the charge. On top of that, they wanted me to buy 4 new tires instead of just the one I needed. This was after telling me the tires had passed inspection? On top of that, they said I needed new brakes, rotors and all, yet my current brakes just started squeaking and replacing the brake pads is all that’s needed, not the rotors!!! They’re crooked as can be! Go somewhere, anywhere, else to get your car serviced!!!Review fromZeljka J

1 starIf I could give this business 0 stars I would. I am not one to generally complain and I've had the worst customer service experience here. I've never been spoken to so rudely in my life. I've tried 3 times to make an appointment, both by phone and in person and each time I've been spoken to rudely and turned away by Anthony. I could not get a single word in as Anthony continued to talk over me in a rude and condescending manner. I actually had to ask if I could speak for a moment. He acted as if it was MY fault that HE himself made an appointment for me for a day that was ALREADY IN THE PAST and that the customer service rep made a 4pm appointment for me twice that he could not accommodate as his technicians leave at 2. I am not sure if the men that call in get spoken to like this by Anthony, but as a woman he was condescending, dismissive, and outright rude. I have been coming to this Firestone for over
a decade and I will not be returning because of Anthony.Review fromCara L

1 starI took my car in to get a leak fixed, antifreeze was leaking out and it started to smoke out of the hood and a oil changed along with balancing of the tires . . By the time the car got the Firestone, the antifreeze consevour was ab empty. Which is the reason I took the car there to get fixed in the first place. It didn’t take them any time to work on the car. I was told to be there at 5 (closed) I arrived at 5pm during the time they where closed to pick up the car to pay what they quoted me a 1800.00 bill for stuff that they “found wrong with the car” I allowed them to fix it thinking that the car will be drivable and in better condition. I asked the technician over the phone if she was to go ahead and fix the problems that they found, will that make the condition of the more better/drivable, she stated YES!
They pulled the car from the garage, while it was running all I seen was tons of heavy smoke coming from my exhaust pipe. As I get into the Car, I try to pull off, 3 seconds later the car shut off. I had to catch a technician because this was all after business hours & made them aware that the car stopped and have heavy smoke coming from the exhaust pipe. They tried to fix the problem right then and there outside of the garage However, they did not fix it. They told me to let the car run and the smoke will basically clear out. That’s very dangerous driving with all of that smoke coming from the exhaust pipe.
I had to pay for **** there to pick my car up and turned around and had to get my car towed back home after paying 1800.00 - 1900.00 worth of parts and labor then had to turn around and catch another **** home because my kids and I couldn’t ride with the tow truck driver. I am a single mother of 2 and I depend on that car to get me back and forth to school and work and to get my kids back and forth to school. I am now without transportation and will incur lost wages and my kids will be missing school because of this failure.Review fromThomas C

1 starThe most defensive and don't care Firestone "manager" I have ever met !
To start with, I wouldn't even rate him anything because he doesn't even deserve to serve customers, leave alone manage such a company shop. Today, when I took my spouse's car to my mechanic for a wheel bearing change, we found that the underside of the engine, including the right side of front grill splashed with oil. On opening the hood in my presence, we found the oil cap at the front edge of the car and the engine oil tank opening gaping at us. The hood had about 10x10 inches spot directly above the engine oil opening, wet with oil. My wife had oil change service at a Firestone shop, 6828 Coit Rd, Plano, TX- 75023 just a few days ago. To be safe, my mechanic decided to add a quarter pint of the car's engine oil before heading to the respective Firestone shop to lodge my complain. I took pictures and video of the same and instructed my mechanic not to clean up the mess in order to keep the proof. Surprisingly, when I got to this Firestone shop and presented my complain and proofs to the manager, whom I can't prove he was the manager, he came out in full defense of his responsible staff. Without controlled composure or even apologizing, he stated that his staff with 7 or 8 years experience have never and would never do such mistake. He completely trashed the videos, pictures and even the oil splashes on the car. He stated he'll review the garage footage and if true, he'll fire the staff if that was what I wanted. I told him I didn't want anyone punished but only came to lodge my complain. He stated my complain was insensible, he didn't care, I was harassing him, he'll call the police to walk me out of "his" property. Although my intention was not and is not to sue or get anyone punished, this bully "manager" who constantly talked over me during our conversation does not whatsoever deserve to be in this position. Sincerely I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone while this bully is around !Review fromGURDEEP S

1 starFirestone on OAK Grove Firestone The I took my 2015 ***** Suburban for service on Nov15th 22 at Firestone on 2048 Electric RD, Roanoke,VA 24018.they did the oil
Change on my Suburban on November 14th and failed to tighten the drain plug. It was just finger tight.I started smelling some burning smell every time I was driving soI went back and asked Josh to check and see what was happening. Well he opened the hood and checked oil and added some oil and told me you are good to go. I was still smelling that burning oil smell I went back 2 weeks later with the smell complaint since the smell was not going away and he did the same thing to check Suburban's oil level and added some oil and told me you are good to go, didn't bother checking the leak.i went back again in mid January and he finally lifted the Suburban and discovered the drain plug was left loose and it was almost out holding by 2 threads and I took a picture. Now they tighten the drain plug and fill oil and told me good to go and they are sorry for that. By now my engine started knocking so I went back the next day to ask them to check for the noise but they told me they didn't have time to check so I ended up taking my car to a local ***** Dealer on01/17/2023 .The service writer Ramsey W**** said the lifters are starting to make noise which could cost due to low oil pressure and more likely need to be changed. Meanwhile I have been communicating with Josh and he said he will put it through the claim department. Well after about a week and half I talked to Guy Name John at the claimdepartment and he said they sent a 3rd party to check the vehicle
and they are denying the claim. You can contact how many times I went back asking for help? They did not write it up each time but they kept adding oil.Now on February 21 i authorized the ***** service department to go ahead and change the lifters.they start draining oil
and discover oil has particles of metal they thread's replac the engine $11,820.56Review fromYoung J

1 starWent to a Tires Plus in Evans GA for a regular oil change. Car leaked oil from improper closing of the oil filter housing casket after driving off the lot. Oil level at low on the dipstick after only 2 hours of service performed. Had to drop off the car at another mechanic for fix - costing extra time and money. Also did not provide an estimate of service at the time of check in and had to ask for a copy of invoice at checkout. Unprofessional practices and employees. 0 stars if the option is available.Review fromwalter f

1 starHad gone to this Firestone in Marianna, FL. Been to other Firestone locations and had great service, but not this one. I had a simple problem, popping sound when I turn my front wheels. First day, told I had to return due to they could not process a credit card, internet down. Came back the second day, waited over three hours, decided to leave, asked for my car keys. They told me to come back, scheduled a few days later. Two guys, acting as managers, one told me I would get $100 dollars off for anything on that day I was scheduled. Came back on scheduled day, waited one hour for them to finally look at it. They could not identify the problem. Then it gets worse, they had me talk to the mechanic, with one of the so-called managers standing nearby watching intensely. Mechanic tried to tell me it's the transmission. Then he tried to convince me to replace my brake pads, then he wanted to rotate my tires. I know the brake pads are good, not worn, showed the mechanic, the drums were smooth. Also told the mechanic that I did not request tire rotation. Also, transmission? Really? Bull ****! I asked the manager how much to replace the rear brake pads, he was overcharging. I also mentioned what he said about $100 off anything. He changed his toon, told me only if over $600 service. These guys at this Firestone are a SCAM bunch of nuts who overcharge and rip customers off. Firestone corporate should replace the two managers and mechanics in charge for theft!
