1 starI had work done on my steering on 11/29/2022 and Javier brought it back to me and said that it needed to be taken in the next day for air was in the line. On 11/30/2022 I was on my way in and the truck would not turn almost hit a pole, then as I was turning into Firestone almost hit a car. When inside and told them what happened and Dominick behind that counter stated that it did not happen. Had a mechanic drive the truck and he stated that the wrong part was put on but the part looked like it would fit. I finally got the right part on it but, I was scared to drive my own truck. Javier called and said that it was the right part but in was defective. I told Javier since he drove the truck to my house he should have noticed the steering and not that it had air in the line. I also stated he should have taken the truck back to the shop to fix it correctly and I could have picked it up the next day and not let me drive that truck anywhere. Javier stated that he will take off for the part and I said you should take off the whole bill due to almost causes me to have two accidents, he informed me that I had to call Firestone to tell them and that is like talking to yourself. Called Firestone to complain I had to wait for Daniel to call 4 days later and nothing. I was suppose to get a call from David and then Greg no call at all. Tried calling main office and someone will call in 48 hours don't hold you breath due to no one calls back. I have left many messages but it seems like they do not like there customers too much. Still waiting. I had my truck serviced there and I was a repeat customer but I can not believe that this is how they treat customersReview fromMichelle A

1 starMy horrible experince with Firestone New Berlin, WI.... I initially purchased a tire on Nov. 26, 2022 I have a 2019 ***** Encore. I purchased this tire for $275.22. About 2 months later the same tire had a metal chip in the tread. So I went back to the same facility and the response was they could not plug the tire. I waited for almost 3 hours and they could not have the tire delivered. So that same evening I began to do some research and finding out that the same tire was $100 less at ******* and ***** **** plus purchasing the Road hazard warranty which Firestone only offers that type of warranty on their specific brand of tires which are Firestone and Bridgestone which no one ever told me about plus that information is not posted in the store. Tuesday 12/27 I called them first thing this morning and requested DO NOT PUT THE NEW TIRE ON MY RIM AND THAT I WILL PICK MY TIRE AND RIM up once I'm off from work. I had no issue getting my tire and rim back.
TAKE AWAY FROM THIS DO NOT PURCHASE ANY TIRES FROM FIRESTONE EVER! They will not explain anything to you regarding type of tire and if there are any road hazard warranty with your tire purchase. I have heard from multiple people and mechanics do not deal with this business.Review fromGwen G

1 starUpdate: I took car to a different location because they did not have a senior technician to address the bad repair. Turns out, they installed a water pump that was not the right part for the car. The technician knowing this, modified it, in order to try and make it fit, which turned out not to be a good install. How are they allowed to get away with stealing from customers? Now I have to wait for the correct part and hoping they can finally have this resolved soon. They know, and now we know they did an improper installation. They haven’t even reached out to acknowledge or apologize. I’m looking forward to having a different Firestone correct what they did wrong. I will never trust Leander Firestone location.
Took car in for an oil change and asked them to please check everything out since the car was just purchased for teenager. Of course with their recommendations and suggestions we had them replace the hoses due to age of car. We had them flush the radiator and add new fluids. The Following day we notice a good size oil stain under the car. We take the car back in the following day, because they were to busy to see us. They check the repairs they had just done, and Of course to our surprise, they said leak has nothing to do with the repairs they just did and it’s due to the high pressure from when they changed out hoses. So now the water pump is leaking. At this point I don’t believe anything they are saying because this car had no leaks whatsoever. Well, we fork out more money and have them replace the water pump. Then they tell us, the front shocks are completely worn out and they can’t believe how the mechanic missed that!!!! Really? Following day, a bigger oil stain. Come to find, the brand new water pump they just installed the day prior has a very noticeable leak, large stain on concrete!!! How I wish I could upload videos and photos of the terrible installation of the new water pump, that was more than likely not needed.Review fromBS B.

1 starI WAS DRIVING HOME WHEN MY LOW TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON. I PULLED INTO FIRESTONE, PLAINVILLE. I ASKED IF SOMEONE COULD PUT AIR IN MY TIRES. AN OLDER MAN SAID HE WOULD BE RIGHT WITH ME. IT TOOK HIM SEVERAL MINUTES TO GET THE AIR HOSE THOUGH THE HOLE IN THE DOOR. HE WENT AROUND TO EACH TIRE AND TOLD ME I WAS ALL SET. I TIPPED HIM AND WAS ON MY WAY. THE LIGHT ON MY DASH NEVER WENT OFF. THE NEXT DAY I TOOK MY CAR TO THE PLACE WHERE I PURCHASED THE TIRES. EACH TIRE WAS OVER 5 POUNDS LESS THAN WHAT IT SHOULD BE AND ONE WAS 9 POUNDS LESS. I CALLED FIRESTONE AND TALKED TO THE MANAGER BRAD. I TOLD HIM I COULDNT UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE AT A TIRE PLACE DIDNT KNOW HOW TO PUT AIR IN MY TIRES. AND HOW UNSAFE IT WAS FOR ME TO DRIVE MY CAR THAT WAY. BRAD SEEMED UNINTERESTED, WHICH MADE ME MAD. HOWEVER, BRAD DID SAY HAVE A MERRY ******* CHRISTMAS AND HUNG UP THE PHONE. I CALLED FIRESTONE CORP A FILED A COMPLAINT AND NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE.Review fromMarcus B

2 starsTo Whom It May Concern,
On October 15, 2022, my 2012 ********** CC was serviced at the Firestone location at 16950 Chesterfield Airport Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005. The repair in question is the replacement of rear shocks. After driving the car for a day, the back of my car sound very clunky when driving over any bump or unsmooth surface on pavement. I contacted the store manager and instead of getting me in ASAP to fix the problem, he scheduled me as if I was just the next customer. He then complained about the location being overwhelmed and understaffed. This is unfortunate, though not a matter for me as a customer to solve. I needed the gratification of getting their mistake fixed promptly with stellar customer service. In addition, I reached out to Firestone customer service and was assured that a Regional Manager by the name of Brandon would reach out to me, though no one ever called. Approximately a week later, I dropped off my vehicle again. The store manager informed me that the previous shocks were faulty and they upgraded me to the top of the line shocks the store can offer. I drove off and the car rode fine. On December 20, 2022, the upgraded replacement shocks went out just as the previous ones. I reached out to the Firestone store and spoke to Ralph. Ralph recalled the service issue with my car and now believes the mounts may need to be replaced. This is unacceptable. I expect for the Firestone mechanics to be the experts and not just partially looking into a service that is being conducted on my vehicle. Advice from other mechanics stated that Firestone should have reviewed the mounts.Review fromHeather K

1 starTook my car 2015 Audi A4 in for an alignment and a new front driver side tire, they did the work I paid almost $400 got home and let my car sit since I didn't need to use it, went to the store 2 days before Thanksgiving no issues at all, headed out Thanksgiving day to my in laws house 4 hours away about half way through at 80mph we start to hear a noise we pull over to see the bottom splash guard had falling and was damaged. We safely got to my in laws house and we where able to rig it with zip ties and duct tape so we could get home. I called firestone and the manager blew me off saying it was from my last oil change ( last oil change was in April 2022 and you don't do an oil change on my car from the bottom you siphon it from the top) told him no it was from you guys he just kept gas lighting me so I hung up and called corporate that's a total waste of time it has now been a little over 2 weeks and you cant get a hold of the claim manager on my account or corporate, still fighting with them and calling them every day till this gets resolved... 1 starI purchased a one-year-old set of four new radial Firestone tires that developed a large bulge in the sidewall of the right front tire.
Clearly, this is a dangerous blowout waiting to happen and I attempted to have it replaced or repaired under the warranty.
However, this new store /franchise at 13511 Huron St, Denver, CO 80234,
where the tires were purchased refused to prorate the one-year-old tires based on the small print in the Firestone corporate warranty. Allegedly, tire rotation and maintenance were not documented in a Firestone maintenance form. A form that we were never provided with or discussed with to this day. Let alone available now. Because of this excuse, I was told the tire warranty is null, and void and these defective tires could only be replaced with identical tires at full price. In addition, as a background, multiple attempts were paid for to replace a left taillight malfunction that required an actual mechanic to diagnose and repair.
I told the manager on the phone that I refused to pay retail for four new tires because of an obvious manufacturing defect that had nothing to do with rotating the tires. I told the manager that and we would pay the $115 oil change and pick the car up, but we would not be buying another set of these defective tires at retail price. Heated words were exchanged.
Upon arriving at the store this manager-owner would not allow me to pay for the oil change and then simply leave until he took the ridiculous step of calling the police.
Rather than wait for a more escalated exchange I gave my credit card to my teenage son and left the premises. Even then, rather than ow my son to pay for the oil change he refused to return the car keys until the police arrived.
The manager berated me to my son while waiting for the police
I demand a fair one-year prorated defective tire credit demanded from FirestoneReview fromTycora Y

1 starThis company was negligent in repairing my vehicle. They were supposed to repair my driver side axle, 2 days later I heard a loud noise which resulted in my tire breaking off my vehicle(bolt cracked) while I was driving, nearly causing an accident. The manager came out to cover himself, admitted to the negligence of his so called "most skilled technician". They repaired the wheel, leaving me with major body work. Now I'm waiting for their slow claims dept. to provide me a rental and get my car fixed. Still suffering d/t their negligence. They should have went all out to make sure my issue was taken care of. I should have read reviews of all the lives they have nearly taken d/t negligence and greed. Lesson learned, I will never have them touch my vehicle again.Review fromValerie S.

1 starPrice gougers. Makeup charges for repairing a vehicle that is not needed. They admitted that they did not know what was wrong with my car after charging over $2200.00 Went to a dealer, and the repair cost should have been $200.00. Buyer beware, Their consumer affairs department that handles disputes do not return any calls. Nor their regional manager. Their rating should be zero. Totally incompetent workers. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!Review fromVictoria S

1 starI brought my car in for a scheduled oil
change, they handed me the keys and
said everything was fine afterwards.
On the way home the engine started
to make a loud noise. I brought the car
back for an inspection and
immediately started getting the run
around. It took three weeks of them
dragging their feet and me calling the
corporate office to get them to take me
seriously, and they still denied
knowing anything and just kept trying
to get me to take my car away. I finally got my car looked at by another mechanic and he
said if the car wasn't making a noise
before the oil change, I have every
right to be suspicious and the car is
acting like it was running with no oil in
it/my engine is coming apart. The car is not old and was running perfect for the past year. They have dismissed my claims and
continue to give me the run around.
Taking over 4 days to return any of my
calls when the policy is to return calls
within 48 hours. I'm appalled by their
complete lack of customer service. It feels like they want to make this process as hard as possible so I give up rather than admit that they did something wrong and withheld information from me.
