I scheduled to have tires replaced on my SUV for 11/18/24. I received a call stating they needed to order the tires and they would be at the store on 11/22/24 so I rescheduled my appointment for 11/23/24. I went to bring my car in at my new appointment time and was gaslit, the service member stated the appointment was made for 11/30/24. Whatever, I was correct and had the confirmation emails. I never received additional correspondence to reschedule. The 29th rolls around, I drop my car and keys off to be worked on 11/30/24. It’s now 12/1/24, I called this morning to confirm my car was ready for pick up, nope…. Tired won’t be here until Monday and again was never contacted for an update. My husband and I went to the store to pick my car up because I didn’t want to spend $1300 dollars on something that was probably going to be shoddy work. We get to the store. My car had clearly been driven, I dropped it off with over 100 miles of gas left in it, this morning it had 45. Not to mention, the setting for my seat were way off and the car was still warm for whoever took it for a test drive. The worst part is, the “manager” James is supposedly the one who was supposed to communicate the changes. James was not at the store today and if he has the lack of work ethic and accountability, he isn’t going to do anything to correct his mistakes. To maintain your sanity and safety of your vehicle, DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE!

Bad service Was told they couldn't fix a flat because it had liquid flat repair in tire.
Paid for two new tires when all I needed was a flat repair. Now I see why they aren't part of the BBB
ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS RINSE TIRE OUT

I went to get my car aligned. They took 5 and a half hours with my car and didn’t tell me it was ready. I had to call them. When I got there, they told me they didn’t align my car because it had other issues that would cost at least $2500 to fix. They told me they would call me back when they hear from the vendors. I called twice and no one got back to me.
I took it to another shop and the shop was able to align it within 45 minutes and he said everything else was fine. He couldn’t sell me any other parts in good conscience. Instead of paying at least $2500 to fix my car, I ended up paying $150 to get what I wanted done in the first place. Firestone Complete Auto Care tried to screw me out of thousands of dollars for parts I didn’t need so they can make more money off of me.

Took my new truck in to get a new tire due to a nail being in it. I asked them and was told they can replace tires on 22” rim without any damage. They damaged rim and didn’t own up to work and refused to compensate. Stay clear of them. I had video proof of tire and rim condition before and after service. I was told rim quote was too expensive and they are going to check other vendors. The next day, they declined to fix the issue. This was after several emails back and forth with their “corporate office” to resolve the issue.
The Firestone Complete Auto Care is located on 1762 State Road Summerville SC
I would give zero stars if possible.

I am extremely disappointed in my recent experience at this Firestone location. The wait time was unacceptable as Sheila struggled to locate my account. To make matters worse, she was openly talking negatively about her employees in front of customers, which is highly unprofessional. If your co-worker had a surgery or anything you shouldn’t say things like “Nobody care about that”.
Sheila’s rude and dismissive attitude, along with her complete lack of empathy for the inconvenience caused, was frustrating. She seemed more focused on rushing to leave than helping customers, and at one point, she even misplaced another customer’s key. It’s clear she lacks basic customer service skills and needs significant training to perform her role effectively.
This level of service is far below what I expect from Firestone, and I hope management steps in to address these serious issues. Until then, I won’t be returning to this location.
Kudos to Chris for being able to look up my account and also accessing the issue in a prompt manner. He went above and beyond to assist me and was very knowledgeable of the situation and empathetic. As Sheila was walking out. She was complaining saying “Nobody is going to do all that”. Very rude and all over the place.

I made an appointment online as it seemed convenient and the entire day had openings listed. The response they sent to me Specifically said they would call if they needed to reschedule. I got no call so I drove all the way to the business. When I got there, the front desk person smirked when I said I had an appointment and told me there was no way that was happening and the soonest she could get me in was 3 days later. When I asked why the system let me make an appointment, she said they didn't have control over it. So who does??? What a horrible, stupid business model - Lying to possible customers so they waste time and money for nothing. I understand that businesses may be understaffed. So fix your scheduling to reflect that. That's what an honorable business would do. I will be letting everyone I know both personally and professionally to avoid Firestone Auto Repair!!!

Went to the Countryside, IL Firestone off of La Grange Road on Saturday, November 16th 2024 for a simple synthetic oil change and tire pressure/air check. None of my instrument panel lights was on except the tire pressure warning light. After paying for the simple work, I got into my car, turned the key in the ignition and now my check engine AND tire pressure lights were on. Restarted the car again. Same thing. The check engine light was most definitely NOT on when I first brought the car in, mind you. I go back inside and am told there's something else wrong, that they had nothing to do with the check engine light, but lo and behold, on my receipt, they recommended a 100+ dollars engine analysis. Riiiiight. I don't think so. I made them go and pull the computer code free of charge, but they came back and (miraculously) said the light was now off and that the mechanic fixed something he supposedly messed up during the oil change. How convenient. I get back into my car and while the check engine light was no longer on after starting, I noted the tire pressure light was still on. On my receipt, lo and behold, they had recommended two new front tires. You just can't make this stuff up. I know there's sufficient tread on my front tires to last a while before replacing them. Instead of going back in yet again, I drove less than a minute down the road and had my dealer, *********** ******, fill my tires properly. Got into my car and voila! No tire pressure light staying on. Everything on my instrument gauge panel was now normal.
Forgive me for inferring these characters at Firestone perhaps thought women were dumb enough to fall for absolute nonsense. Ladies, go over to *********** ****** if you drive a ******. Service there is excellent the first time!

Tires a plus told me I needed a new battery. When I told the tech I thought it was fine he stated to argue telling me I was driving an unreliable vehicle. My car is a 2 year old *****. After leaving Tires Plus I took my car to my ***** dealer to evaluate my battery. Per *****, the battery was in excellent condition. This is the second time Tires Plus has done this!

Tuesday the 12th I bring my car in at 7 AM was the third person in line. Dropped my car off. Received a call back at around 12 in the afternoon went to pick up. My car was very happy and excited. I had new feet on my car when I get home I realize the tires look very small and they put the wrong size on my car. I called and the gentleman was very polite. Said he was going to order the tires and they will be in Wednesday at 11. I told him I work till 9 PM and I wasn’t going to be able to make it but I can have it dropped off Thursday at 7 AM. He proceeded to say that was fine. He ordered the tires and they will be there. I take my car Thursday 7 AM. He said two hours. I walked around the shopping center. Went back at nine for them to tell me they don’t have my tires as my car is on the lift with no tires on they put the small ones back on. I went home. He said they should be there by 11. I waited 11 o’clock came 12 o’clock came one and now it is 2 o’clock no call so I called And they said the truck got delayed two hours that he will call me when they come. He called me around 2:30. I dropped my car off never received a call until 615 picked up my car and they charged me an extra $44 which I think is ridiculous since I wouldn’t be in this situation they would’ve ordered the right tires and put the right tires on my car as I get home. I look at my tires. There’s grease white grease everywhere everywhere very sloppy and my rug. My beige rug has grease all in my car. I am not happy. This is ridiculous. I shouldn’t have had to wait so long to get four tires and the disrespect of my car and grease all on the carpet. I will never recommend anybody here.
