My ** washing machine broke down on Monday, March 18th. I waited nearly three weeks (20 unacceptable days) for a warranty repair from Asurion. The initial repair company's 10-day vacation caused massive delays; there should've been backup technicians. A "new" motor was installed on April 8th, but it was defective (** App confirmed). The technician returned April 11th, and it was still broken! We then waited until April 14th for Asurion's next move.
This was unbelievable incompetence, extending an already ridiculous ordeal. Asurion refused timely resolution, a blatant disregard for their obligations. A rep even said some customers endure 60 days without complaint – absurd for a vital appliance! I only got my money back by calling them out on *******, leading to *** in escalations.Do not waste money on Asurion's ** extended warranty. It's useless, offering no real support, leaving you stranded with broken appliances and zero recourse. Their service is incompetent and lacks customer concern. Beware, they will give you the run around until they finally cancel the claim.
I bought this with a drone on ******. SRN is *************. When i set the drone to land automatically in a clear area it was off course by 30 feet. landed in a tree. When it fell out of the tree it bent the plastic that holds the front arms in place and seized the motor.
Took the pictures, gave them the information from ****** (screen shots of the order and the invoice) and submitted. The next day they shot back saying that I did not include the receipt. There is no "Receipt" in ****** so I took the same screen shots again of the invoice showing payment, showing the item, showing all the information needed and sent a question stating "what on ****** would suffice as a receipt other than what I have already shot you"
Crickets. Just another "we need more information" and again I shot them the same thing and stated that if no one got back with me I would just return the device and return the plan.
Next email... We have canceled your claim. I called, got the claims department, asked them what needs to be sent since it appears ******** invoice screen shots were not effective and they sent me to customer service where I was hung up on.
So now, I will just return the drone. it's within the return timeline and it was defective, and I will NEVER BUY another service plan through Asurion. Ever again.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

It's not something I am going to discuss. I canceled the policy and got my money back. You wouldn't tell me what would suffice as a receipt from ****** and even when I sent screen shots of the invoices, the purchase screen, the information showing that I bought your service and the drone. But you kept giving me the run around.
Then when I asked for help on where ****** had a receipt function that I could give to you but then you stated that you canceled the claim.
You guys suck. Pure and simple. I will inform anyone who will listen exactly how you all do business.Review fromTony C

In June of 2022, I purchased an ~$1800 computer monitor and $134 Asurion 3-year warranty from ******. Roughly 2.5 years later, said monitor experienced a malfunction of some sort and I contacted Asurion for warranty services. In November 2024 AND February 2025, I submitted claims that were automatically rejected by the system. No details or follow-ups. The cited reasons were simply that my item was still under the manufacturer's warranty (*******). In fact, the manufacturer's warranty had expired nearly 1.5 years earlier (June, 2023). I assumed, in good faith--or was misled to believe--that this meant the warranty didn't start until the ******* warranty expired. Therefore, I would have still had a year left on the Asurion warranty. Lo and behold, I receive an email this month saying my plan had already expired. I contacted Asurion and they just keep stonewalling me, claiming they can't do anything because the warranty is now expired. Never mind the fact they rejected two previous claims that were completely legitimate, they are now refusing to make good on the services I purchased. I have emails, messages and screenshot evidence of all claims made above. This is borderline fraud.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

worst customer service ever i purchased a printer and protection plan from ****** in feb 25th of 2025 and its gone crazy since we had paper jams where it destroys paper , we had issues with the ink spraying and we cant afford to have it sent off to be repaired which is only what the manufacture said they could do so we talked with manufacture and they said they would give a case number for a refund via asurian through our plan and after giving the associate the case number via ** the supervisor **** started to interrigate me making me feel like a pow again and making me almost go into an anxiety attack to where i was stuttering and shaking .... i have never been so humiliated in my life and this company use to be where we always got a warranty from but not anymore not after that DISCRIMINATION !N.E.W. THE ABSOLUTE WORST...YOU PAY THEN YOU HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS TO GET A REPAIR IN THIS CASE A DISHWASHER...TONS OF FORMS TO FILL OUT EVEN THOUGH THEY ALREADY HAVE IT ON FILE. IT'S A NIGHTMARE AND THEN THEY BOUNCE BACK EVERYTHING SAYING THAT THE EMAILS THEY GAVE DO NOT EXIST. NEVER AGAIN, SAVE YOUR MONEY, DON'T BUY LG PRODUCTS THEY ALSO STINK! Terrible customer service!!! I returned a slushie machine over one month ago and I still have not received my reimbursement check. I purchased the product and protection plan with my credit card and don't understand why the money was not refunded to me on my card that I used to make the purchase initially. I have called the customer service line several times and they keep telling me to wait 3-5 business days. It has been 35 days and I have not received anything. I called again this morning because I have waited several more days and I still don't have my refund. I am very upset and I want my money back. I have talked to several supervisors and they all are giving me the runaround. I've had my ****** TV repaired 3 times (motherboard replaced twice). Now for the 4th time, it's getting repaired again. They've spent more money repairing this TV instead of just replacing it in the 2nd or 3rd instance. And their customer service crew are useless. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. It's like I'm starting over everytime I file a claim. There never seems to be any record/knowledge of the past repairs. We purchased a **** ***** protection plan for our ** dryer. Filed our first claim in 11/24 because it consistently failed to dry clothes. They processed 3 claims where a technician came out to fix it and after three failed attempts to fix the problem, ordered a final diagnosis to determine if it was irreparable. That diagnosis the tech told us it was not able to be repaired and would be under the No Lemon policy which would get us a replacement or refund. He lied or failed to fill the paper work out properly. Now, Asurion wants another "final" diagnostic test to determine if it is repairable. The company they contracted it to has failed now 4 separate times to even show up. First, they claimed that we canceled the appointment, and every one since then they have failed to even assign our claim to any technician (why have us wait around for an appointment all day?). We have spent over 50 hours on the phone with Asurion, several more with the contracted company, multiple days waiting at the house for our "appointment," and resubmitted claims countless times. This is completely unprofessional. The call center reps (including their escalations department) are only able to do so much, and nothing of this nature seems within their ability to remedy. We are now waiting another 3 business days to see if Asurion will even approve our request to have a different company run the diagnostic test. Who knows if we will even get a phone call? I've heard this story before so I'm not betting on it. If I could leave 0 Stars I would at this point.N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, LLC

If I could give them a 0 i would! I purchased a protection plan for a $500 baseball ball. After a couple months of usage, it became a “dead bat”. I started a claim with Asurion and they sent me a shipping label so I could send them the bat. I shipped the bat to them, and waited the period of time they requested to review the bat. I then got the run around for over 6 months. Fast forward to one year later, they have our baseball bat and never replaced or refunded the bat! They basically stole our baseball bat!!N.E.W.
