On Jan 10th 2023, I received a $40 failure to pay notice (# ***-010-782) from PMC for a pay to park lot violation. There was no clear signage ANYWHERE to indicate payment. I tried to reach them to remove the charge but instead they sent a violation notice to my house threatening to impound my vehicle. Is this a scam??? I want the violation charge of $40 waived (notice number ***-010-782) and PMC to clearly mark their parking areas and stop threatening to impound peoples vehicles.Business Response

I parked last night at Spring **** Suites #2 in ***********, ** to go to *****************************. I downloaded the ** code and inputted my telephone number and my license plate number and clicked on pay. The download indicator was turning and I went into the restaurant. When I exited the business there was a ticket on my windshield. I went to the parking attendant and told her the above and showed her where the indicator was still circling. I was told that she would take care of it. I have gotten two messages saying that I was in violation and needed to pay a fine. I cannot help that Parking Management Company's software is not working properly. I do not paying the parking fee but I think I should not pay a parking fine.Business Response

I parked in an area of OneCity of ********* at night with no noticeable signs or places to pay for parking. It was on a street with a ton of free parking as well so I obviously would have parked there. The area was fully dark and PNC denied my dispute without any evidence to the contrary. This is absolutely unacceptable and even on the photo they took there is no clear way to pay or sign indicating that it was a paid street parking spot. It's absolutely ludicrous and this company is unethicalBusiness Response

Our truck was parked at 1 ******* *********, ** on Sunday 06/12-2022 after business hours (which has always been free). We received a parking ticket in the mail of $50.00. We have now been sent a letter stating "FINAL NOTICE TO AVOID VEHICLE IMPOUND" for ticket # ***********. The letter also states that immediate immobilization or impound when parked on any facility operated by PMC . I feel this is unfair and predatory practice since it has always been free to park here on the weekends and after business hours for free.Business Response

I parked my car on 11/1/22 at the OneCity free parking area in the short term spaces and entered my license plate number/vehicle information and credit card information as required in the spot in which I was parked. I returned within the allotted time frame, and saw a PMC employee taking pictures of my car. I inquired what they were doing and they told me that I had not registered my car in the spot. At that point, I pulled out my confirmation and showed the employee that I did indeed register my car in the parking spot (and was leaving within the free parking timeframe). They apologized for the misunderstanding and assured me that they would fix the mistake as they were having computer issues where cars were not showing up as registered on their software. However, I recently received a letter in the mail despite this confirmation that I owe $40 for illegally parking in the spot that I was told was resolved. I am very disappointed in PMC for again attempting to charge me money after assuring me that this had been resolved.Business Response

On 4th of December 2022, I received a $60 failure to pay notice (invoice number 000-001-364) from PMC for a pay to park ***************************** lot, ********** that was completely free to ****************. I did not see any clear sign and I did not know it was pay to park. I disputed the notice as there were no clear signs posted around the lot, I did not get a reply but instead they mailed a violation notice to my house. I hope that PMC starts adding clear sign and actual barriers to their lots in ***************************** lot, ********** to make it clear that it is a pay to park area. I hope this serves as a warning for anyone in the area. I would like the violation (invoice number 000-001-364) to be waived and PMC to put clear signs to their parking lot.Business Response

My sister and I were parked in a lot in downtown **********, **. Neither of ** saw any signs that stated that this particular lot was a paid parking lot. Over a month later, we both received letters in the mail stating that we had received a parking violations for $40 each. Neither of us were aware that we had received a violation on the day that we parked in this lot. The only time that we became aware of these violations was when a letter was sent to our parents' house threatening to send this "violation" to collections and that if we did not pay the violation that they would impound or boot our vehicles all over $40. Neither of us have any issues with paying for parking. What we do have an issue with is that we did not see any posted signage in the lot that says it was a paid parking lot and that we did not receive any notification of violation until over a month later when this company began threatening to impound or boot our vehicles. Our violation numbers are *********** and ***********.Business Response
