    On approximately July 24 I called Trojan Batteries to find who sales their batteries in Abilene. They gave me the # of the distributor that serves Texas. I then called the distributor to find who sales Trojan batteries. I was given the business of battery Joe in Abilene. On July 25 I called battery Joe and ask if they had 2ea Trojan 105 plus batteries. They said yes. On July 26,2023 my wife and I went to battery joe’s to purchase the 105 plus batteries. 3 or 4 employees were looking for the batteries with no luck. Finally another gentleman went to the back of store room and sent a person out with the batteries one at a time and took them to the front of store. After getting correct price I wrote a check in the amount of $307.08. Went outside with employee, opened trunk of car and their employee placed the batteries in trunk. At that time I noticed the batteries were Trojan 105’s. Not 105 plus. I pointed out the discrepancy to the employee. His response was ‘we can’t get the plus batteries they are sold to a different store. Instead of having him to take the batteries back in and giving me my check, I drove home.
    It was either that day or July 27,2023 I called the distributor and told him what I had been told. The distributor put me on hold for a short time and the phone rang and the person that identified himself as the manager of battery joe was on the line. He apologized and said he would order the correct and would take my check out of drawer and hold it until the Plus batteries came on the truck and he would call me to make the exchange. I would call weekly to ask if batteries had arrived. Was told not on the Thursday truck but would reorder and would call before they brought the batteries to my house and exchanged them.
    I have made to complaints to customer service with no response from them.
    The check to battery joe that was to be held until correct batteries came in cleared my bank on 9/06/2023.
