      They did good. Lady showed me how to find if doctor was in network and how to check billing with claims dept after three weeks. What number to use when a claim is filed.

      This company is a complete scam. They will never pay any (or even part) of your medical bills. No matter how many claims doctors send in they just reply "we never received a claim - have them resend one". 4 doctors sent in multiple claims over the year I used Strata and they say they never received any even though I kept verifying the address to send them. DONT USE THEM! ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!

      As anew retired person I needed to find medical insurance. I have to say with lots of doubt and lots of questions. So, with many phone calls and several people that I grilled because I still was not comfortable, I spoke for a lengthy time with *****. After lots of questions from me, and there were lots he answered all of them made me feel good about my choice. We were disconnected at one point, and he called me back. Now that is impressive in this crazy world!

      Didn't have to wait on hold long. Used the call back service which only took about 15 minutes. Person was courteous and helpful. Issue was resolved quickly. Great customer service!

      I wish I could give them 0 stars. **** told me so many lies when selling me my policy. The biggest lie i was told was that I had prescription coverage. What it really was was a prescription discount card. My prescriptions would be about $400 a month in addition to my monthly premium. I called to complain, only to have others tell me more lies, as well, to keep me from cancelling the policy. I finally said enough was enough and cancelled the policy. They told me I would still be charged for the next month's premium because I didn't give them 5 days notice. I had been trying to cancel it for a week! I had to cancel my debit card to avoid them getting more of my money. Almost $500 was paid for one month...for nothing!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

      I was looking for insurance for our adult son who was no longer eligible on our insurance but was a full time college student without insurance. I called and spoke with a rep of this company and asked about specific doctors in our ******, ** area. After being told those doctors were participating, I signed our son up. The monthly premiums were charged to my credit card. Just a short time later our son had to see a couple of doctors. To our surprise the same doctors I inquired about were not participating and they both told us THEY NEVER PARTICIPATED!! I was lied to by the Strata representative I spoke with when enrolling our son and we had to pay out of pocket for the appointments with doctors they said were participants. The monthly cost for this insurance was automatically charged to my credit card. I recently called to stop coverage and was told my son, the covered person, had to call them. I told them I no longer authorize the monthly charges against my credit card and they insisted our son had to speak with them. I understand they wanted our son to cancel his policy, but when we took out the policy they had no problem accepting my credit card information to charge the monthly fees against. Do I recommend this company? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! If you are considering enrolling with them, get something in writing first that lists your doctors as participating. And be prepared to be taken advantage of and lied to by them.
