  A recent National survey for 2022 of top home builders, listed Horton near the bottom of top 20. Poor quality, mass produced overpriced housing projects. If youre looking at coastal **, go with a local quality builder like Creekside Homes. I just had a quality **** sf home on 3/4 acre built for $265 K. Great local company ! Horton, Lennar, Pulte etc just after bigger billions in nationwide revenue.

  Bought a new home there's multiple issues not being resolved! Last I counted was 20 issues on a brand-new home. Do some research before buying a home from DR *********************** It is just very frustrating on a brand new build home. I have tried not to leave a bad review, but stuff is not being resolved after 4-6 weeks. I am hiring a home inspector next to see if there's issues that i cannot see.

  Moved to a brand new home built by DR ********************** in ******, **. From the first day i brought up the water build up - (before purchasing the home) Was told they will fix it. Fast forward 2 years later after multiple warranty requests (HAVE THE ***** VIA EMAIL) about 30 claims.. They said they cannot help - now everytime it raisn i have an ocean in the back yard which takes about 3 days to dry up.I know they will not do anything now, they have bassically stopped answering calls and emails. I am hopping a future owner will see this and may impact their buying with DR **********************. As per usual the small guy gets hurt.. unfortunately its the way of life here in *******. The big boys can bully their way out - but us... no! our money isnt green. I Will be getting in touch with all the future home buyers that are planning to purchase the NEW homes under construction. Hopping to change some minds and ruffle some trees.

  I'm a first time home owner. I worked so hard to get to this point and be disappointed with my choice. May of this year made two years we have been in our home and things that shouldn't be happening aleady is. After them coming to fix drywall many times its still cracking in same spots as well as new spots, dips in the flooring, doors are not wanting to close i guess not leveled correctly, door k**** and light fixtures in bathroom already rusting and tub in master bathroom feel like we will fall through floor at any giving time. The homes are beauitful but are made cheap.

  I wish I could give -1 star. DR ********************** has been my worst nightmare. I was very excited about purchasing a brand new house in ******* and right now I wish I never did it. Since day one Ive been finding errors after errors on the construction of my house. Right now my second floor is sinking. Almost all walls are uneven, you can see the shape of the ***** on the ceilings. Windows are all uneven as well. And my brand new dryer will not work because we just found out today the vents are all blocked by 80%, is this supposed to be normal?? A BRAND NEW HOUSE with so many issues? DR ********************** should stop building homes ??Ive been submitting a lot of warranty request and they take forever to send the worst people to fix the issues and you can clearly tell they hire people with no experience on building homes at all. I have pictures of a bottle of beer left in one closet the day I came to walk in before *********** tells me everything I guess I am in *************** IN ***********, **. They use the worst and cheapest materials to built the trashy homesI wish I could get my money back and run far away from here disgusting!

  Cheaply built with the cheapest material. They build at minimum energy and structural code required per county. They continue to build in hurricane zones with 2x4 wood exterior walls & regular glass **************** A good builder uses block ********************* rated **************** They also don't use spray foam insulation which would save their customers 35% on their heating / cooling costs. They also cut every corner possible on the inside, like cabinets, ************* of windows. Many of their plans have very few windows, and they are small in size, making for dark living conditions in most of the house. Look elsewhere for better long term investment on the biggest purchase you will probably make.

  DR ********************** has zero ethics. They build garbage houses and their greed shows in their poor construction quality. I've sold real estate for 20 years and I dread walking into a DR ********************** product. From paint, electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, I'm not sure how someone could build such a terrible home unless they were actually being intentional. DRH should be ashamed. Do Not buy anything with their name on it.

  It has been the worst experience. I would not recommends D.R ********************** to anyone and if I can go back, I would not have made this home purchase. The home quality is so poor. In addition, during closing they provided us the survey which we signed. However, while having pool estimates, reps told us our backyard fence is not on our property. When we contacted DR **********************, DHI mortgage, and the inspection company, and notified them no one disclosed that our fence is 4ft off our property, they basically said well too bad and we will just move it to your property. This is unethical And inappropriate as we were never made aware. Currently, we are in a process of a lawsuit. In addition, doors are made out of cardboard and already chipping, nail holes are showing in my entire indoor, nails are falling from ceiling, holes in walls that werent even completed, chipped concrete, my backyard door was put incorrect, almost causing it to fall, in addition to the ceiling and walls that were finished properly and the wood could have collapsed, and more and more. When I told warranty, they said this is all cosmetics. Bring in another professional which told me that the foundation is basically collapsing. Showing me the details. Please stay far away from Tamarron area and any DR ********************** homes.

  Stay clear of D.R. Horton. We have submitted warranty's for our house that have been ignored for over six months now. We keep getting poor excuses and lies from warranty ***** We have called corporate several times and still nothing has been done. I have had pulled up carpet from a worker that came out and didn't finish a repair for over a month now. We have exposed floor tacks and loose carpet on stairs that my son can trip or get cut on. I have told D.R. Horton this and still nothing has been done.

  To Whom It May ********** name is T........ and I live in *********, **. I bought one of your new Smart Homes in Elks Park. I cannot say I was happy with the craftsmanship of my brand new home. The contractor's DR ********************** hired to build these new homes in area were put together sloppy and very fast, and unfortunate the quality of work showed. Nonetheless, once DR **********************s corporate office learned of my concerns, they were very quick to fix all worries and issues. They showed a genuine concern for how the contractors built my home and the unprofessionalism by the contractors who did the work. They spent an entire day fixing everything that was needed; they even upgraded my sink and faucet, even though the plumber told me they would not, that they were just telling me what I wanted to hear. The supervisor they sent to view my concerns was an exceptional individual. He came through, all work has not been completed yet, and some of the workers are suppose to be out today and finish, and I trust they will.Thank you *****, and DR ********************** for all the work you are putting into my new home to make it right.
