  This is the first **** Home, that I have lived in & the second new home in my lifetime purchased, the other two were resales of exiting homes. I have found my experience with D.R. Horton, in the ************, *******, Market to be "Extremely Positive", all things considered with the disruption of the supply chains, and employee issues, due to Covid, which have Not been D.R. Horton's fault. All issues in my townhome have been corrected or are in the process of being completed in a "timely" & "professional manner". *******************, from D.R. Horton's ****************** under the direction of *****************, Vice President of Construction have been "Professional", "Courteous", "Enlightening" as to what they can provide to address any and all of my concerns. As a former Customer Service Professional for over 40 years, I believe I know Excellent Customer Service when I experience it first hand. And that is Exactly the experience that I have had with D.R. Horton Homes in *******, *******. D.R. Horton Homes, are track homes, "not" custom homes & are built to the highest industry standards according to the local community ordinance's. Unlike most homeowners who only write "negative reviews", I take the opportunity to tell the other side of the story. If you are "reasonable" in your requests & expectations D.R. Horton Homes will deliver as promised. A 5 Star Builder? Absolutely!

  If I could give zero star I would. This has been the worst experience ever. We were told our home was ready to move in to. At the initial walk through the sales rep and I taped tons of stuff needed to be fixed. I was told by the sales staff the interior of the garage was to be painted and floor pressure wash. At the time of the final walk the superintended person was unprofessional and some what rude. Literally rushed us thru the process. Told us he didnt have much time because he had to go to another closing. I tried to explained to him everything that was taped at the previous walk wasnt done instead they taped were ripped and left everything undone. He kept telling me he didnt build the home therefore not to expect him to fix everything. He then kept ******* us because he had to meet other buyers. I closed on 06/30 it is 8/19 im still trying to get all these things fixed. Superintended keeps playing dumb. I ended up contacting hire up, who met with me at the house and tried to help. The garage part is on the sales rep. Who I contacted and who is now telling me she never told me the interior of the garage was part of the deal and that we re responsible for painting our own garage. All my neighbors got their garage painted except for us. We re talking about a cheap looking 360,000$ . This is not fair at all! I DO NOT recomment DR ********************** to anybody. All they care about is meeting their quater. I wish I would have go with the bad reviews and never sign up for this. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

  Poor customer service, communication, follow up and no accountability. I gave them a bad customer service rating and received a phone call from the head Superintendant in the area. I told him all the items that need to be repaired and was told to submit a warranty work request. One of the superintendents from my development came out and took photos of the items I requested to be repaired. Before leaving he said he would be in touch to schedule the repairs. I never heard from him again.

  My name is ***************** and my husband I live in **************** in ******, *******. Weve requested to **** the spark arrestor put back on the roof for 6 months and has not been done. The front door has water accumulated and we were promised the the concrete would be done to keep the water from accumulating there. As of this time the work as not been completed.

  This has been seriously the worst experience of my life. After a year and a half of waiting we still have no house. Worked with their lender they recommended now they are holding up my process because they didnt have all the paperwork in order. Called Dr ********************** corporate and no one cares, no apologies, no let me see whats going on just pushes the blame off to everyone else! Doesnt even call me back!

  D.R. Horton built a low quality home and sold *********** leaks for every rain. ********************************, Division Compliance Manager always tries to find reasons to deny warranty. Spilled water in up stair's toilet room is leaking directly into downstairs laundry room. Instead of fixing the grout or sealing the tiles properly, ******************************** is saying that I shouldn't spill water in the toilet room. He said 'since there is no drainage in toilet, it is designed to leak from ceiling'. He was very rude and denied to send this denial explanation in written form. I lost money but I am loosing my mental health as well. I won't be buying a D.R. Horton home again.

  Really bad service and would not recommend to anyone. The quality of the material is the cheapest you can find. They are not flexible, and are not doing business the way they should. I was suppose to close on a house in April and now we are Aug. and they still have no clue when the house is suppose to be ready. So many delays and in the meantime the I retest rate went up and doubled. They refused to refund my deposit when I advise them that my wife had lost her job. Save yourself and take your business elsewhere. Just awful and would not recommend to anyone

  They build a house and we had several walk through a and every time the items that needed to be fixed were not fixed when they final fixed them we had moved in and within two days of moving in we must of found ******************* that needed to be addressed we called up the manager that we were dealing with he said go through the warranty I told him there should be no reason too its only been two days now I find things every single day that are noticeable things a shower door that is not aligned that was put in the like a door that wasnt closed right put in like that plugs that dont work out in like that a piece of wood missing on a base board put in like that or broken while working a wall that is not straight again put in like that and all they say is go through warranty I have a hole in the front of my house that is letting in ants cement that is already cracks I have been in my house for three weeks and they wont talk to me I should not have these problems in three weeks

  ****** was the worst builder. Even claiming my house is not a million dollar home on the day it was built after I complained about a mistake. Additionally warranties and fixes take forever. I will never build with DR ********************** again.

  I have to agree with all the below. My son is buying a house from DR and they have the worst Quality I have seen. I have pictures. They are installing the sliding glass door incorrectly and cracking the frames in the corners. Was just one issue. I pointed this out to them and instead of fixing it they put the slider and fixed panel in the cracked frame. There schedule is always way behind from what they tell you. If things dont get better I am going to contact the registirer of contractors.
