  Put in a request to have work done on garage. Water damage on front of garage do to shoddy installation of siding . Request denied , we dont cover water leaks no matter what . Well, numerous units have had the same problem . Not a very reputable company . They know and are aware of the poor workmanship on our units . ******************* ************** .

  I think we made a mistake signing the mf contact. My family and I closed on our home 7/29/2022 while we love our home, I cant take the lying right to your face. They installed all the blinds but TWO JUST TWO MF BLINDS AND THEY ACT LIKE ITS SOOOO HARD TO INSTALL THE LAST TWO. Have been calling and texting ****** OVER AT ******************* for over a week now with his a$$ constantly freaking lying. Im not **** STOPPING UNTILE I/we get what the h*** we paid for. WHERE THE **** ARE MY **** BLINDS. Also get better office workers that actually do there **** job instead of just sitting there doing absolutely NOTHING. Oh and we are ************************* and jasmarious ****** . Where the f are our blinds

  Would give this company 0 stars if I could. We could not have had a worse experience. Very early on our closing date was moved from September to July, so we only signed a short-term lease at an apartment. We had no choice but to move in at our July "closing" date. One week before closing, appliances were not installed, paint was not finished, the primary shower wasn't complete, the siding was damaged outside, the garage and front door were incomplete, and part of the sod was dead. We were told all of these issues would be fixed before closing. The day before closing, not a single item was addressed. 2 days after closing, we finally had a working stove. 3 days after closing, we finally had hot water. 2 weeks after closing, we finally had a working dishwasher. However, a week and a half later it is still installed crooked and is leaking water when ran. We were once again promised that everything would be fixed before Aug 1, but nearly a month after closing, we are still waiting for our primary shower to be fixed/finished. Our garage door doesn't close, the concrete patio is slanted toward the house, so water pools at the foundation when it rains, we are still waiting for paint touch-**** also waiting on cabinet shelving replacement that was chipped. We are paying an exorbitant HOA fee, but still don't have access to our community amenities such as the pool. At one point the ground wire carrying electrical to the house was nearly cut through, but we were told it wasn't an issue because it wasn't completely severed. They claim this has been replaced now. We were told the dead sod was not an issue and it had been watered at least twice a day. We have mostly brought this back to life ourselves but are confident it was never actually watered by the company before closing. In several parts of the house, the trim/walls are crooked. Our realtor told us this was the best, most reliable builder. Being new to the state, we blindly trusted her. Do not do what we did!!!

  I agree with all the others: DO NOT BUY FROM DR *********************** They told us we had a 10-year warranty through their company. Afterwards 18 months I put in a warranty request for a relatively minor plumbing problem, which is something icant fix myself, and they told to find a plumber, because their warranty is one year. We have the 10 years in writing. Perhaps we should be contacting the state consumer protection bureau, or, better yet, our TV stations.

  We should have NEVER bought a D.R. Horton home! Biggest regret! Can not wait to sell and if this doesnt end in a class action lawsuit for this neighborhood Ill be SHOCKED! ********************* claims from the day we moved in almost a year ago & nothing fixed yet! 1. Electrical issue with breaker box. If power shuts off when power comes back nothing turns on including my fridge. They say its normal & the fridge is NOT a major appliance. 2. All my interior doors are cut almost 2 inches short at the bottom. 3. Front door frame is cracked. 4. Kitchen cabinet cracked. 5. Dishwasher that sounds like its taking off and is BEYOND noisy! 6. A light switch that is connected to NOTHING! Never mind we moved in in Sept and the floor wasnt finished & it took them till Feb to finish it! Finally when you buy a brand new house you get a move in *********** still dont have one! Weve been told for months someone would drop it off and yet nothing. This company only cares about you till you sign and close and then they are in the wind! D.R. Horton has class action lawsuits filed against them in multiple states. I should have known but who would think a builder would be so cold and take advantage of hard working families!

  Worse company ever.The warranty is a pice o s.They make appointmentsto fix the issues and never show up make you lost 1,2 or 3 days of work waiting for them.I finally decide to pay from my packet to get fixed my issues instead of wait for this irresponsibles.Please keep away from DR *********************** is much much better buy a used house than but new home from this company. I will never buy another house fron them again.

  Do NOT buy a Horton house! It's been a nightmare! The workmanship is horrible. They lie to your face. They are heartless! They don't care about mistakes they make. I could go on and on. Just stay away from them!

  To call them a home builder is simple not true. The hire nothing but illegals to build an inferior product. Then they give you a closing date that keep changing due there inability to control the work force or the product quality. The have been trying to build my home for over a year now and keep changing the close date. The bottom line is they are a cheap home builder because the use cheap materials and labor. Do yourself a favor and find anyone other them them to build your home.

  Well if you think this is a reputable builder you are wrong. DR ********************** has gotten too big for his britches and now has too many irons in the fire and his building company is losing their reputation. I have been in the process of buying a home from Dr ********************** and that process went great of course because they promise you the world initially. Then things went downhill. Things werent getting done on the house as we got closer to closing. A week before closing we had a couple walkthroughs and created a punch list. We met three time with the superintendent and he promised all three time the house would be finished. Well it wasnt the day of closing. So ***** the sales person said he would get the ball rolling. Well guess what he didnt either. We tried working with them but to no avail we had to cancel the contract because Dr ********************** didnt do what they were supposed to do so we terminated the contract. We are a couple of hard working teachers trying to make a life and here is DR ********************** ruining our dreams because they are greedy!!!

  Purchased a home in *****, ** at the ********** Location. Horrible Company! Do not BUY from DR *********************** Close on the house May 2022 and folllowing problems still exist: No screens on my windows, no back slider door on my patio. Cracked granite on the island counter in the kitchen, unfinished foundation, master shower head is cut 3 inches to far left from the faucet location making it impossible to use the shower bc your body is up against the wall, dishwasher kick plate is broken thus opening and closing dishwasher is impossible, hole is the rug on 3rd bedroom, all the landscaping and grass in the community is dead. I am not withholding the monthly "HOA" fees in hopes of a "lawsuit" so I can get this DR ********************** company to fix my home. Do not do Business with D R **********************! Poor quality homes, poor customer service, and very low people quality for this company.Sincerely, **************************.
