I bought this Tesla with no idea when I would need to buy a new battery for this new car. Ive only had the car 3 years with ******* miles on it and they want me to pay over $13,000 for a new battery. There is nothing that tells you how long the battery life will last on this car before you buy it.

Tesla is absolutely terrible. You cannot get a person on the phone or email to answer any questions. The battery died around 2 years of life and it took weeks for company to fix it. They gave a loaner and that battery started to die too. They tried to tell me it was just a coincidence. They make you do everything through this app and when I had to have my tire replaced (flat), they told me everything is going well in the app. Then they called me and said they could not locate my vehicle. They never even started work on it-- just lied to me that the work was going well. During a snowfall I put the vehicle on snow mode and went up a hill- slid down and went up a small curb. It was $15,000 in damages and did not get my car back in months as it broke the suspension. The grass and curb were totally fine. And then they called me months before the lease was due pestering me to return the car, as soon as I told them I am not buying a tesla and why they stopped. I then tried to ask questions about the lease process and I have been calling and emailing for months but no one is answering my questions. I find out the guy I was trying to contact was laid off and then got hung up on again after given a wrong number. I just want to return the car and need someone to answer my questions. Can someone from the company call me to please help me do this? Summary: 1. Battery ***** and dies soon. They tried to tell me it was just a coincidence that I had 2 cars in a row with a bad battery. The car is super poorly made and the plastic likes to come off. 2. The "range" is a joke. You will be lucky to get 1/2 of what it advertises (I have a long range) 3. **************** is horrendous and forget about getting a person on the phone 4. If anything breaks it is very expensive and your insurance will skyrocket. 5. Tesla will ghost you if you are not committed to buying their car even if you have a lease.

I got a loaner car while my car was in the shop for repairs. Since I didn't know how long it would take to get my car back I added the loaner car onto my Ipass account for 2 weeks (I didn't know their cars had Ipass tags already). After about 1 week I returned the car but forgot to take it off my Ipass account. And next customer took the loaner car on a trip to the **********, so I got charged 1600$ for his tolls. After multiple calls and emails with maintenance, and the branch manager they could never solve the problem "it was too much money for the branch manager to solve" and he couldn't escalate it elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Would never deal with them again.

Tesla uses predatory practices to push one to buy items they dont need such as insurance and charging products. They do not clearly communicate fine print that the return window for shop items is between ***** days. If they exceed their window for your car order, they dont let you return the shop items and you pay for insurance you dont need. Also, they call multiple times encouraging you to change your order if they cannot fulfill the order processed. My experience was terrible, nothing was delivered as promised. I lost $1,000s and felt like I had been the victim of a bait and switch.

A month ago we were at our house and my wife, like always, opened the falcon door using the touchscreen. Only this time, the sensors didnt detect the garage door and the door went into it and scratched it. I filed a service appointment w Tesla asking for them to, under warranty, fix the door and sensors (car is a year and a half old). They asked for an exact timestamp. I told them the date and that it was in the afternoon but I didnt have an exact timestamp. Then they pushed my appointment because the parts hadnt come in yet. Today, a month later, I went to my rescheduled appointment after they told me they would intake the carWhen I get there, they tell me that because it only happened once and there are no errors being shown currently, that its not covered under warranty. They show me the part in the manual that says that the falcon doors may fail to detect objects and that the driver should be prepared to stop it (in the half second between impact and stopping??). They offer to intake the car and inspect the sensors for $255 (!). I point out I paid ******* for the car a year and a half ago and that its under warranty. They refuse. I left furious. My wife did nothing to cause this. The sensors failed to detect an obvious garage door. And Tesla refuses any responsibility. Worst part is they wasted hours of my time after saying they would intake the car which I took to meant that they would actually take care of me. This company doesnt give a s*** about its customers post purchase.

a bunch of thieves, they took $250 as a hold for a new car but they changed the terms of the loan, when i didn't accept the new terms they said tough luck. the second car i tried to get is used so i had to pay 500$ to reserve it, when they couldn't find me a loan they also said tough luck and that it's not refundable. they are nothing but thieves and musk should go out of business for these scams they are doing to honest working Americans. I wish nothing but bad luck to this stupid dishonest company.

The worse customer service I have ever had in my 84 years. My Tesla solar system was down for 4 months last year, May until September. This year it has not worked since April. Nobody seems to care. Im paying Tesla plus PG&E.

My power wall is not discharging as it’s supposed to, during peak times to reduce my cost of energy usage from the grid. I’ve sent a request to troubleshoot it but I got no response. Also during installation they broke one of the vents on the roof and put it back without fixing it, and it came down off when it was windy.

I scheduled my 2018 Tesla for service on July 11, 2024 to have the ** repaired. I was told the condenser failed and was provided an estimate for repair. I paid for it and the repair was conducted. The night I received the car back from the repair, error codes came up indicating a temp sensor and condenser failure. I took it back to Tesla and they ended up replacing a blower motor. On that repair they also found the condenser line wasn't properly connected on the previous repair and flooded the front floorboards with water. **** ***************** Manager) accepted full responsibility but has yet to fix the **, as it still doesn't work properly and the carpet now smells mildewed and is starting to mold. Tesla's customer service is horrible.
