They're terrible. Be prepared for them to not care AT ALL if you have an issue. I was given a camper with full tanks of old people's pee and p*** It was disgusting, smelled horrible to the point of making me sick, and bathroom was un-useable. Fridge had moldy food. Disgusting. Very nicely put in for some reimbursement. After 3 months of waiting for a response they said since "I don't have proof" they won't do anything. A hundred bucks was offered. Wow. Do the owners have proof of not giving me a camper with all these issues? No. But they take their word over mine and won't meet in the middle. Stick with one of their competitors.Outdoorsy, Inc.

This is the worse company. Be careful renting anything. They believe the hosts when the host is ripping you off. My word with proof that the host lied, cheated and stole from me and my family. Thinking this was going to be great, and had a great weekend with my family, turned everything in, and then stole my deposit. Outdoorsy let them, and took another $300.00 from me. They are cheats. If i could give them a negative star I would. I wasted 2 mths chasing my money. I am your customer ********************** you forgot that. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE CHEATS.Outdoorsy, Inc.

If you own an RV - do not allow a renter from Outdoorsy to use your vehicle. I had several successful renters take trips in my RV but finally someone evaded their detection and texted my RV. The process for damage to a vehicle begins which means Outdoorsy sends the claim to the ***************** and then they do nothing further. The Renter was an uninsured driver and despite not having auto insurance they told Outdoorsy they had a policy with Progressive. After checking records, Progressive told me he had been declined coverage 1-years earlier due to his driving record. Outdoorsy wound then not proceed with any fixes, repairs or assist in anyway until they received a declination from Progressive, which never came as they did not have a policy with the renter. Months into this process no assessment of damages had been made, no repairs started, and no one at Outdoorsy will move forward. Im left with a damaged vehicle that is inoperable to me sitting outside my house. Please do your research and find a reputable company if you wish to rent your motorhome. -****Outdoorsy, Inc.

I wish we had seen these reviews before renting. Our rental did not have even the most basic of safety checks and was extremely hazardous from broken breaks, a bent tail pipe that lead to carbon monoxide poisoning that almost killed us, and so many other things that a passenger door being broken and flying open on the highway seemed like nothing. Luckily, a journalist is now looking to tell horror stories about people using the Outdoorsy platform and being punted around by customer service. Had someone at a rest stop not flagged the bent exhaust pipe (at which point we were all feeling sick and decided to rest) we would all now be dead.Outdoorsy, Inc.

This site takes your credit card information and makes withdrawals after your vacation.... when I called I was told they would hold it for 7 days and send it back with no explanation at all complete rip off do not trust this siteOutdoorsy, Inc.

Hi *****, we're so sorry for any confusion regarding your security deposit. Please allow me to clarify that a security deposit "hold" is not an actual charge to your payment method, but rather a temporary "hold" of the amount agreed upon for your particular booking. A "hold" only lasts for a certain period - in most cases 7 days. Because of this standard, security deposit holds are released after the "hold" period and reauthorized until after 7 days of the booking return date. Upon reviewing your account information, I verified that your security deposit was released on 9/3, so I believe that you're all set. Was scammed out of $825 for RV .. RENTED ON THEIR PLATFORM. using contact owner button on OUTDOORSY site.. went to pick up RV and it was a hoyse with older man that had never heard of OUTDOORSY and never owned an RV in his life.. emailed confirmation code on outdoorsy letterhead was a valid code, but not for our selection.. Company support would do nothing to help.. said i should have used their platform.. THAT IS WHAT I USEDOutdoorsy, Inc.

Worst experience through outdoorsy. Rented a camper and the owner said we did damage to the inside, but we never saw it. They harassed us with emails, phone calls, and messages. Outdoorsy sided with the owner and charged us almost $1500. DO NOT USE THEM IT IS A SCAM!!!Outdoorsy, Inc.

I would one million percent NEVER recommend renting from this company. I was in a dispute for over two months just to be told I had to pay more than my security deposit over false claims of camper damage. I had very concrete proof the damage did not take place during my rental. The owner no doubt scammed me and my family out of an extra $1400. There is truly no telling how many other people ***** ***** from *******, AL has done this too. This man claimed to be taking the camper to be fixed and used his own personal business (Ucamp Rentals in *******, **) to do so. By far the WORST experience as an avid traveler to this date! Stay clear of *****, his company, and outdoorsy!!!!Outdoorsy, Inc.

If you are an RV owner looking to rent with Outdoorsy beware. Renters WILL damage your RV guaranteed. Another guarantee? Outdoorsy will engage in red tape and excuses endlessly when it comes to paying for the damage to your RV. I have had my travel trailer which was brand new in 2022 all but destroyed by a renter. I paid the entire bill from repairs and parts. I have before and after photos of the trailer time and date stamped. I submitted my claim immediately when the renter returned it. 6 weeks later and Ive received NOTHING from Outdoorsy in the form of compensation, response or care.Outdoorsy, Inc.

SHADY AS THEY COME! Read to the end. Wife and I rented a motorhome for 10 days and had a blowout 24 hours in. Sat in the side of a busy interstate for 10 hours working with their BS roadside assistance (also a joke) finally had to pay out of my own pocket for a tech to come repair and get it drivable back to a shop where they told me the tires were all rotten. I had no choice but to replace MORE tires in order to get home safely. Dropped the ** off 55 hours after renting it and contacted outdoorsy for a refund. I had photos and a tire shop letter that the vehicle was NOT maintained. Long story short, outdoorsy put me through h*** for 30 days then denied my claim. So Im out the full rental, plus repair and tire cost plus cost to stay in hotel and a ruined vacation!LUCKILY, I paid with a credit card and could prove my case for dispute. I won but OUTDOORSY LITERALLY LIED AND ALTERED DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED TO THE ***** If I hadnt taken screen shots to show my wife the cost of trip when rented, I wouldve been screwed. They altered the document telling the bank my rental was only for 2 days (at the price of 10) NICE TRY SUCKERS!Outdoorsy, Inc.
