    My sister dropped off my vintage mink jacket at this cleaners on October 15th and was told it would be done in a week. I came to pick up one week later and it was not ready. I never got a call when it was ready and came in to ask about it on November 13th, because the phone number on their ****** page didnt work and they were not responding on their ******** business page. The jacket was completely destroyed. Ripped to shreds. It looked more akin to roadkill. I was told to come back at 6pm because thats when the owner was in. I drove an hour during rush hour to come back and the owner said he was confident he could fix it and would call me when it was done in 2 weeks. I got no call. I called another number I found for them on December 17th and they told me to come in to talk to the owner, again during rush hour. When I arrived, I was treated with such rudeness and hostility. I calmly asked if there was anything they could do to make this right, and the owner completely ignored me. There was a woman he called over to present my ticket that did not have any at your own risk clause on it earlier, who proceeded to yelled at me over and over that she told my sister that the cleaning was "at my own risk" while I stood there, mostly in silence, not challenging this statement. She said I should feel lucky they didn't make me pay upfront. This was a one of a kind heirloom they destroyed and I didnt even get as much as an apology. Why would they take an item they were not 100% sure they knew how to clean safely, never honor timelines, and waste hours of my time coming back and forth to their business just to be rude to me? This was an extremely expensive item and I would like to be compensated for its value.
