Whole Foods is listed as a participating retailer for EBT there is currently a Presidential major disaster declaration that was made for *********, EBT and disaster recipients. that all Cal fresh can purchase hot and prepared food for a limited time until April 3 but that is not the case at Whole Foods *****************************************************************. **** the manager made sure that even though he was made aware previously, by another customer that Ebt had sent out information saying their store is participating he did not put flyers up, or do anything so when I came into the store and purchased hot food, and went to **************** , and could not afford to pay for it outside of my EBT card he proceeded to throw the food away in front of me and was very rude it is wrong to be discriminating to the less fortunate the store should be educated on the presidential decision. That is an effect corporate should know about this, and on top of that I am disabled. Luckily, my fianc went back into the store and got help by a general manager ******** but the experience made me feel like I am supposed to be less of a person because I am using Ebt and I am on a fixed income. **** you are wrong and when I came back into the store, he had security watch me as I checked out is that because I am black and my fianc is Hispanic, because that is how he made me feel racially discriminated against. This all in front of my two multiracial twins.

I went to Whole Foods to shop. I swear I was in a night club. The music was so loud that a person came to say they can here the music three blocks the the street. Just think this is a professional business not a night club.

Whole Foods suddenly stopped putting a separate bakery label for Vegan goods. The original label in tiny print added Vegan, not even in bold print. The ingredients are printed very tiny and the nutritional information and lightly inked. Consumers deserve more transparency especially at a supposedly more health conscious brand and for more expensive goods that are not high quality baked goods. There is no signage stating Vegan nor a Vegan section of the table so the extra label has been essential to locate the products. The customer care number routes to *************** with broken signals, dropped calls, etc, Also there are Vegan goods that are marked up at least 50% over other stores selling the identical brand name goods, ie. vegan cheeses and sausages.

I was shopping at my local whole foods store at **************** (*******, **) yesterday around 8:50am and a female employee in the cosmetics sections approached me asking me if I was looking for something. It would be totally normal if only she wasnt there for a long time before LEAVING AND COMING BACK WITH 2 SECURITY GUARDS before talking to me (they later very openly looked at my shopping basket and stared at me). Was I dressed inappropriately? Taking too long to shop? Did she think I would assault her if she talked to me? I am not sure. I normally order things online as I have a busy life, but yesterday was a day off from classes (university closed due to the weather) and i wanted to actually come in and read labels as I have a nut allergy and was looking for new foods and products to test out. The most embarrassing thing is that I was in her section looking for pads. I ended up admitting it because I was just so caught off guard. The amazon website does not have aisle numbers for the products so i did roam around, but believe me, I did not feel welcome after that instance and, even though I love whole foods product selection, I do think employees there need to be trained. *** had other issues related to waiting 25min in the car before someone came out or having wrong items handed to me. This was just the last straw.

An important thing to know about this store. Was there yesterday and felt monitored the entire time of my visit. Certain employees, one a young man from the produce section and another young man with glasses and long hair whose section I'm not aware of, followed and made repeated attempts to make contact or generally get my attention. The company also sponsors local US fusion center Threat Liaison Officers (mostly ordinary citizens who sign nondisclosure agreements) whose presence is intended to report on activities of customers in the store. It's sad the harm that Orwellian Amazon has done to this once amazing grocery store chain.

On Friday, January 12th, at around 5:30 PM, I visited the Whole Foods Market in ********, **, with the intention of purchasing a whole chicken that they typically process by removing the skin and cutting it into small pieces. The store was quite busy at that time, and I approached a staff member in the meat section for assistance. He informed me that he was the only one available and couldn't accommodate my request, suggesting that I speak to the meat section manager. I followed his advice and approached the meat section manager, who was also occupied with other tasks. Unfortunately, he seemed disinterested and was rather blunt, stating that they couldn't fulfill my request at that moment. I expressed my willingness to wait, to which he replied that I should return in ***** minutes, promising to have the chicken ready. After waiting for an hour, I returned to the meat section, only to find the same staff member still present and unprepared to assist. He stated that he still didn't have time to cut the chicken. I requested to speak to the meat section manager I had previously encountered, but I was informed that he had left for the day. Feeling frustrated and inconvenienced, I proceeded to the front of the store and spoke to a young lady, who identified herself as one of the managers. She promised to investigate the situation and went off to do so. After a few minutes, a person named **** claimed to be the store manager and inquired about how he could assist me. However, my interaction with **** proved to be equally disappointing. He displayed a dismissive attitude right from the start and informed me that, due to the store's busy nature, they couldn't provide the chicken cutting service. I questioned why I had been told to return after an hour, and he accused me of raising my voice and insisted that I leave the store immediately. His handling of the situation only worsened it, and he even threatened me, instructing me not to return to the store.

Groceries never delivered and customer service told me to call driver to find out why. When I called driver he only spoke Spanish and said something about gomma which I think means tire . After 8 calls and use of the f word these reps who dont care to help . Indicated on m on my account that the order was undeliverable and that I had the option of putting in another order or getting a full refund on my credit card and I excepted the latter. Overall, the customer service persons at ******************************************* were completely unhelpful and could care less about my issue. Having to call a driver myself to figure out why he never showed up is absurd. Thats should be their job. I wish I didnt have to use Amazon or Whole Foods again but unfortunately that might not be possible but I give it a zero out of 10 and Im disgusted by them.

I have experienced bad treatment at several Whole Foods locations in **************** (********, Friendship Heights*, *********, Tenleytown, and recently, Foggy Bottom) by under-cover security/ management; however, this is the most GROSS. Each experience was traumatizing, stressful, and harmful: especially when being followed by an unknown individual (not visible Whole Foods logo/ store badge). Also, corporate and some management careless attitude. On October 21, 2023, I sat in the customer eating area to place purchased goods in my roller bag. I was suddenly approached by an under-cover security officer who grabbed my purse and searched it, as well as my roller bag in a rough and aggressive manner without consent. This continued bad treatment at your locations, each of which I reported to your corporate personnel has not improved.
