Absolute scam. Received a notice of delinquent court fines for a state which I have not lived in in over 6 years. The case number cannot be found on the actual county court website and the letter gave no details about the fine, date of infraction, etc. Scam.

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience while trying to renew my car tag. After paying the required collection fee, I simply needed a confirmation sent to the tag office to clear the hold so I could renew my tag. However, two employees refused to email or fax the confirmation, forcing me to call back and speak with a manager to get something that should have been a simple request. This situation was completely unnecessary and added avoidable stress to the process. I did not receive a bill in the mail informing me of the collection, yet when I tried to resolve the issue, I was met with unhelpful staff who could have resolved this in minutes. If this company is going to handle collections, they should follow industry standards and assist customers properlyjust as other collection agencies do.People rely on their vehicles for work, family, and daily responsibilities. It should not take multiple calls and a managerial override to receive basic verification for something that affects their ability to legally drive.I appreciate the managers help, but all employees should be patient, kind, and willing to assist customers without unnecessary barriers.

When you work for a collection agency, word of advice. When someone calls you about owing you *****, ***'t talk down to them, don't have an attitude to start with, it shows as you thinking you are better than I. You were rude. When I call you about paying a debt, being rude only cost you the payment in full. I contacted the court and paid in full. Ooops guess you didn't expect that! You need a bit of training on how to have phone etiquette , how to have respect for your caller.

Like so many complaints on here, I too received a "second letter" from the above law firm. I live 3 and a half hours from the toll road which I supposedly used at some point. It's impossible because it's a road I don't ever use. They also did not include the date of the supposed toll road usage, nor a copy of the first "letter" they supposedly sent, nor an image of my license plate going thru the toll road. My husband is a retired ** and will probably be giving them a call because there are all kinds of laws and regulations for debt collection which they are not following. I'm also considering giving it to my law firm who are one of the largest class action firms in the country and whom have priorly helped me sue another very influential law firm. In this case it's not worth a personal civil suit, but maybe some large firm out there would be interested because this firm is across the country and it sounds like probably many thousands have been scammed.

Received statement stating they are debt collectors representing the ************ of Tolls claiming I didnt pay when I have a pre paid Sun Pass. They provide no images or dates. There are multiple reference numbers on the statement and payments need to be made via cashiers check, money order or personal check to an address in *******. No credit card or debit payments. This seems very suspicious.

I would give zero stars if I could to this fake debt collector. We are a military family who lived in the state 15 years ago. They are trying to collect a debt on a vehicle that isnt ours, with a license plate that was never ours, and for a vehicle weve never owned. Not to mention, their official letter had messed up writing on the back. Were happy to come to the BBB, read the reviews, and pay it forward with our own.

DO NOT CONTACT THIS FIRM! You first all need to contact your local county about the tickets. This is a legit company but they do shady debt collecting also. You might actually have an unpaid ticket but DO NOT give these frauds your info! They sent me a letter today saying I owe $750 from a ticket from 13 years ago! And it was paid..I wouldnt have been able to buy a vehicle or renew my license if I had an outstanding unpaid ticket. The citation number doesnt even exist. They are only fishing for suckers to fall for their scam.

These people seem very sketchy...my parents who sold their mobile home 3 years ago get letters sent to my address for what they say are "unpaid taxes" on a trailer that they haven't had in years. We set them up with the information and address from the new owners and showed that they do not owe any taxes, but linebarger still won't leave them alone. They are Harassing us.
